Cute place, great food. Excellent service and the music is good, too. We had Greek grilled chicken sandwiches with spinach, mushrooms and feta. Mine was a wrap. I chose homemade applesauce as my side. He had it on a wonderfully toasted roll with homemade chips. The pickles were the really good kind! Price was very reasonable.

I always enjoy my evenings out when we eat at Canal Side. Quaint, lovely place to unwind, and the atmosphere is perfect. Food is always delicious. Waitresses always seem to be smiling. We are willing to travel the distance to eat here. Thank you.

We took my 3 boys for lunch and we all were so very happy! Everything was hot and delicious. Prices are excellent. We usually spend so much more when we all go out. Was great to get great food for a great price. Speedy service and super friendly waitress. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Now we all wanna try breakfast. 5 stars!

Wow, Lobster Benedict! Unexpectedly decadent. Who goes to a diner and finds something so amazing. Paired with Paul De Lima coffee ...simply wonderful. Great location. First time visit but will definitely return. I'd love to sit outside on the deck in the morning.

I always enjoy eating here. Especially their macaroni and cheese. Its unique decor and friendly servers makes it a pleasant experience every time.

I ordered the "world famous" corned beef hash with eggs over medium and an English muffin along with a cup of coffee. Food was great, service was prompt and attentive.

Very cosy, eclectic cafe located in the heart of Baldwinsville. Relaxing atmosphere. Top notch wait staff and chefs. The food is outstanding and the daily specials are unique and clever. Breakfast 🍳 foods are amazing, especially the omelettes and pancake specials. The Award Winning New England clam chowder is the BEST ! Highly recommend

My buddy and I stopped in for breakfast in the middle of our Saturday am bike ride, and were not disappointed. Just like the previous owners the food was delicious. Service was slow due to nobody wanting to work, but that's not the owners fault and I understand. There was a sign explaining that service would be slow due to lack of staff. Same story everywhere. I feel bad for business owners. Come here, relax and enjoy a nice meal at a great price.

Tried this eatery today for lunch. Six stars would be more appropriate. Friendly staff, comfortable as your living room atmosphere and great food to fill you up for the trip home. Baldwinsville Burgers and Ithaca Brewery's Flower Power IPA made a fine lunch. We will be back for sure.

Everything was fantastic. I had Ithaca flower power beer which I love, I love IPA's. And I had the baked haddock, with the wild rice and fries. Honestly everything was cooked perfectly. I hate overcooked fish. It's a pet peeve of mine. It was just great. Highly recommended. Come give it a visit. Also, I believe a manager came out and asked how everything was and he was super nice and earnest. Love this small business. Wish I could give it 6 stars.

Husband and I visited for a late breakfast on our anniversary and everything was fantastic! We ordered burgers which is a rare treat for my husband because so few places offer good* gluten free options.The staff was super friendly, very welcoming and waitress was such a doll! Highly recommend!

Had another wonderful meal at the Canal Side Cafe & Bistro. Food was fresh and prepared well. Service, as always, was excellent. Our server, Katie, could not have been more accommodating. She's friendly and courteous every time we've been in. She and Erica always greet us when we come in, as does the owner and chef, Eric. Definitely worth a visit, if you haven't been in under the new management.

Recently visited the Canal Side Cafe & Bistro for the first time and was super impressed with every aspect! The decor and staff made the place feel very homey and comfortable (loved that they use individual mugs and not just standard white ones!) The attention to detail was very evident. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well - we were greeted by multiple people upon arrival, but our server, Katie, really went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. She spent a lot of time explaining different menu items to us and always seemed to be right there as soon as we needed something. And the food was amazing! I can't wait to try some of the other specials, as they seem to be constantly coming up with new menu items. Overall, we couldn't have been more impressed with our visit to Canal Side and will definitely be returning.

We've always loved the breakfast here but recently we learned that they do dinner too! We've ordered takeout weekly since being stuck at home and the dinners have been outstanding. We highly recommend the fried haddock, the lobster roll, the salmon special, the mac and cheese, the salad with ginger dressing, and their homemade chips!

I recently visited this restaurant for the very first time. I was impressed with the service, the food, and the atmosphere. The new owners are definitely working to impress. The breakfast and lunch menus are varied and our lunch choices were delicious (berry chicken salad, vegetable quesadilla, breakfast burger). The cafe is decorated nicely and the service was outstanding! Will definitely visit again!

Thursday, Friday and Saturday they offer a curbside barbeque with hamburgers, hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches, homemade potato chips, tomato and cucumber salad and various sodas. Picnic tables are available. My wife and I stopped today and had the pulled pork sandwiches which were outstanding! My wife had the tomato and cucumber salad and I had the homemade bbq potato chips. Great meal and a reasonable price. Highly recommend.
