Gusto Pizza Bar

One of the best happy hours in town- the spinach & artichoke dip is one of the best I’ve had and i love their Nashville hot pickle spears. Tonight, we had the Purdylicious- absolutely delicious and so innovative. They are always changing up their menu & trying new things.

Wings and cheese curds tonight. Half priced apps for happy hour. The most unique cheese curds I have ever had. Very tasty and lightly breaded.

Came here for Happy Hour on 07/13 around 5pm. I believe it's half-off apps. I don't remember if there were any other deals. It was nice out so we sat on the patio with my dog. I'm surprised we were the only ones there.

The server was awesome. She brought out water for my dog. We ordered breadsticks and Bulgogi wontons to start and shared the PTP, Baby! pizza. Everything was fantastic! The flavors were on-point! The giardinera added some pizzazz as well as enhanced the other flavors on the pizza. I'm definitely interested in trying the others.

They weren’t too busy till evening. While we waited for our party, we ordered the cheese curds. Be warned- they’re a cube shape so they don’t look like typical cheese curds but I was told they were good. One person had a ginormous salad but it didn’t have croutons. The Seoul food pizza is my go to. They haven’t changed the recipe over the years. It tastes the same and always phenomenal every time. The rest of my party got the Gotham. They allowed a small cake in the venue since we had a celebration. Glad this location is still around because whenever I crave hood pizza it always hits the spot🍕♥

We celebrated a birthday in the party room and found the experience, the waitstaff and the food, great. We brought our own cake and the waitress accommodated us with supplies to help the experience go smoother. Bravo for Gusto!

Love the appetizers! And we have been twice for the Thursday night "Bammies" Pizza specials. LOVE IT ALL! Everyone in our group can't stop talking about it!!!

Great Pizza Bar......BUT what made it GREATER? They brought back a pizza that was known throughout the south side of Des Moines. "Bammie's Pizza." Thank you, it was excellent. We hope you will do it again.

We had a family gathering for 25 people at Gusto a few Friday nights ago. We used their party room, which they don't charge for. It was a perfect spot for us. The food was great and the service was excellent. They have a good selection to choose from and the price point was right for everyone. Thanks to all for helping to make our family gathering a success!

My favorite pizza in Des Moines. Margherita is killer. Must start with the bulgogi wontons. I love this place and will continue coming back and ordering take out at least monthly.

I am so glad Gusto’s has Vegan/Vegetarian pizza options! We ordered the Francesca and it was DELICIOUS, seriously recommend! Fresh Ingredients and super friendly staff! Definitely got our money’s worth, can’t stress that enough! Most places punish you for your diet choices but Gusto’s loaded our pizza up! <3

Our new go to pizza place. They have nice thin crust and small pepperoni rounds! Excellent!

Food was fabulous. Everything tasted so good. The Brussel sprout appetizer was the best.

I gotta say my first visit here and it was great!! Food was delicious, loved the starter choices wings were just right crispy and tasty, onion rings plate was my favorite, the house sangria a must have!! I forgot to take pics but I will be back soon and will post pics! Service was awesome or waitress was fantastic and attentive, she recommended the sangria and she did not lie it was Good!

Great pizza! Well worth the money! Quality ingredients, great service, friendly staff and overall great flavor! Recommend The Spartacus pizza! Graziano Sausage, Mushroom, Banana Peppers, and Pepperoni!(possibly othef toppings lol I cant remember) My new favorite pizza place!

Amazing as ever. Tony sure knows what he’s doing. A quick, high quality lunch option.

I went in for brunch today (Sunday) and I’ve got to say, it’s by far one of the best brunches in town. I’m a sucker for a good breakfast sandwich and theirs was too notch. Will be back again, you’re missing out if you don’t try this brunch.
