Carilion Clinic Family Medicine - Boones Mill

I'm a new patient for this facility. I have met with Mabel McCorrison, NP and Dr. Paula Martin, DO on separate occasions. Both were very professional, very thorough, and took great care in collecting my health history and delving into any physical issues I was experiencing. Very hands on, personal, and professional.

He was wonderful with my Mom and Dad. We appreciate him so much.

Great Doctors and get staff at this location. Excellent choice for a primary care physician.

Christi is an extremely rude receptionist. How's it okay to speak to people in the nastiest tone to tell them that your appointment (that you've been waiting months for,) will be cancelled the day before.

She also called my emergency contact instead of me and talked this way to my MOTHER. Excuse you ma'am, but the harshness was unreal, no need for me to reschedule with someone who has the voice of nails on a chalk board let alone with Carilion again.

If you speak to anyone but this reptilian hybrid maybe you'll have a better experience?? Can't be sure if that's not the culture of this office or not but regardless this place gets a -11/10

Brought my wife in with a sugar reading of 575 , she was told that's very serious and her doctor would get in touch, never has responded only called in a prescription , new to diabetes ,we didn't know she should have been sent to the hospital, that moment by her doctor, we are now doctor looking , it's been over two weeks and he has not yet got her a appointment with a specialist.
