Pheasant Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center

I must say, I have worked for PRNR since 2010. This is my home away from home and a place I truly hold near to my heart. I work with some AMAZING people and have had the utmost pleasure with these residents. I have learned so many things at this Facility and feel truly blessed, and beyond great full for all the advanced opportunities I have been given. Some of my strongest bonds have happened here and I am full of gratitude. Definitely one of the best decisions I’ve made.

Pheasant Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation is a wonderful facility. I have worked in this facility since 2007 and currently still working. The staff show compassion and kindness towards the residents and families.

I have been working at PRNR for almost 3 years. I have never seen a better management team than the one that is currently in place. Also, the nursing staff is top notch, they always strive to meet the residents needs. I am very thankful that I found such a wonderful place to work. PRNR I give you 5 gold stars :)

We frequently partner with this facility for rehab for our Residents. Always a positive experience and our Resident always come back to us stronger. Great communication with us as they are ready for discharge.

As a new employee I've been impressed with the management team and their expectations for excellent care of the residents, from new admissions for short term rehab to those that make Pheasant Ridge home.

Staff is very open and willing to discuss any and all concerns. Patient care and satisfaction is a top priority. Staff members go out of their way to ensure patient’s are cared for.

A few months ago we were faced with having to put my father in-law in a nursing facility for a few weeks due to a bad case of pneumonia. He lived in NC but his daughter lived in VA. I started doing research and had heard great things about Pheasant Ridge and being a nursing home administrator myself found that this was the best place for him to go. My father in-law and his daughter are still talking about the awesome care and attention he received there. From the housekeeping staff to the therapy department they were great. He is still talking about the administrator and how he would come by every day to check on him. We highly recommend Pheasant Ridge.

I was given a tour recently at Pleasant Ridge and found the facility to be clean, warm and inviting. The staff were friendly and engaging with the patients. Some of these reviews are disheartening but I’m confident and hopeful that these negative experiences will become obsolete under the current management team. They appear to be patient focused and want to do what’s right for ALL patients under their care.

Pheasant Ridge Nursing and Rehab is a wonderful place to work I’ve been working here for 20 years and love this job. The staff all work together and will go out of there way to help all the residents. The Rehab department is phenomenal. I definitely would recommend Pheasant Ridge Nursing and Rehab to anyone.

I've been with Pheasant Ridge Nursing & Rehab since January 2017, at which time the facility's Medicare rating was 1 star after plummeting over the previous 2 years. Since then I have been witness to the dedication of management and staff to return the center to its former 5-star glory. It was no small feat that by July 2018 the Medicare rating rose to 3 stars (5-star "Quality Measures" rating), all the while providing excellent care to some very medically complex residents and rehab patients. The facility continues to prove that it is determined to find the best caretakers and provide top-notch care for this community. We welcome anyone and everyone for a tour! Thanks for reading!

Very pleased with the care. The facility is clean, the staff is very friendly, the rehab department is fantastic, and the management team is very responsive.

I inquired about my grandmother coming to Pheasant Ridge and the admissions department helped explain to me the care my grandmother needed at the time. She wasn’t ready for a nursing home. “she” lead me in the right direction. Although, my grandmother isn’t at Pheasant Ridge at this time, call them with any questions. They’re very helpful.
