Tempt Restaurant & Lounge

If we could give the service 10 stars we would. Emma is the BEST waitress ever. She was welcoming and so outgoing. Emma aka Sara, LOL made our entire experience so enjoyable. Kristina was also outstanding. They are both assets to this restaurant. Next time we are in town we will be back.

Great restaurant down at the beach. The food was amazing and the service and staff was fantastic. The flat iron steak was so awesome I couldn’t wait to take a pic and dug right in. Love IT

So glad we discovered this place. Went to the bar for happy hour - the food was delicious, cheap, and the portions were huge!! Totally unexpected for happy hour prices($8). The Cajun steak bites were to die for. Nachos, wings, pizza, mussels & sliders were all bomb. Forgot to take pics of most of the food because it was inhaled! $4 well drinks that were actually strong. The owner was our bartender and she was great. Will return soon! 😎

My son and his bride hosted their wedding luncheon here on October 14th 2023. Great customer service, wonderful staff and excellent food. I highly recommend this restaurant for your next personal or corporate event.

This is my neighborhood haunt. My family has been coming here since 2018, when we moved to the neighborhood. On our very first visit to Tempt, we discovered that we were now living in the house that the Tempt owners once occupied. The restaurant staff (and of course the owners) immediately made us feel welcome and part of their community. Beyond the hospitality, the food is fabulous; the drinks are dreamy, and the atmosphere is amazing.

Update! Freaking succulent mussels, oysters Rockerfellar and coconut shrimp! A must visit, if you like great food and service! Great bar and service. The charcuterie board was amazing! And this salad was delicious too!

Man o man my boy Ron did the dam thing with help of tree great staff and partnership putting tempt together. The chief brings the house down with the amazing dishes that is put together. If your looking for upscale at not a very expensive price say no more come inn you will not be disappointed.

Lively lounge with great food! Menu is a little bit of everything ! Wedge salad is great, salmon is exceptional, and their filet is the best I’ve ever had.

Excellent pizza. Henry Miller's sauce is the best.

Good cauliflower crust and his hand made dough is excellent.

Never do I ever choose a random restaurant to visit and not have something go wrong. This place on the other hand was incredible. Every meal we had was to die for and we are leaving very full and happy. Get the chicken pasta, steak bites, wedge salad, pizza, wings, skirt steak, get it all!!!!

Food was great. The local customers were super kind. And the service was prompt but not overwhelming. Casually met the owner and head chef who were very nice and low key. Had the chicken Alfredo pizza, chimichuri steak, and shrimp and andouille pasta. All very good (pasta could have had a little more salt). The painkiller and cucumber gin cocktails were also delicious. Had a really nice time.

Emma was outstanding. She made our dinner experience exceptional. Best hands down. Thanks Emma your smile and attitude is contagious. I hope my lung transplant Drs and Nurses are half as nice as you are.

Great service and atmosphere. Food was excellent. First time at VA Beach and this was the place we decided to go for dinner. It was definitely the right choice. We had a pizza, wings and tuna appetizer. Pizza was delicious and good sauce. Wings were crispy and the sauce was tasty. The tuna appetizer was really good.

Oh my goodness!! 5 stars is not enough!! This place was amazing! Everything from the food to the staff to the atmosphere. We had a super small wedding on the beach and came here afterwards. They were so accommodating and we ended up having a private room to ourselves. The food was ridiculous in a very good way. Glad I'm pregnant and had an excuse to eat so much!! A must try! Not to overpriced either. Can't wait to go back next time I go to the beach!

We are from out of town and our daughter’s birthday was while we are here.

The Tempt staff was absolutely amazing!

Tina got all 24 of us in and Kat took fabulous care of us.

No pizza on Sunday and Mondays, had to come back!

Have been to Tempt dozens of time and have always left very pleased with the food and the overall experience. Ate there last Friday, and even though the restaurant was very crowded, the owner and staff did a fantastic job handling the crowd and the flow of food and drinks. Our server was attentive and personable, and the owner took the time to chat with our table and made sure that our experience was first rate! The calamari appetizer was excellent and the pepperoni pizza made in their wood-filed oven was outstanding. Definitely one of my family's favorite restaurants at the Oceanfront!

Great experience. Great food. Excellent service. 2nd time here and did not disappoint...except scallops were not available, but that was understandable
