Wyndham Virginia Beach Oceanfront

We stayed in the beachfront pet friendly room our power went out the first night & we had to move rooms they were sweet and accommodated us for the move The maintenance man was nice & helpful the hotel was quite , clean , the pool wasn’t too cold either even though it isn’t heated ? It felt like it was , right on the beach , parking , pet fee isn’t too much either each night they have breakfast as well & a restaurant in the hotel , vending machines were also in a convenient location by far one of my best stays in the area the hotel is in a perfect spot if you like peace and not a lot of tourists

Front Desk was Very Friendly and Helpful.
Afternoon Shift Ladies Were So Helpful, Friendly and Warm Hearted.
Pool was Nice and Hot Tub Great.
Room was Cozy With A Great View.
Prices Reasonable.

We went for a family vacation and were able to bring our dogs with us. Yea the rooms need some updating from what we understood they are in the process of updating rooms and the rest of the hotel. The restaurant was awesome with great service. There were things that happened on our stay but the hotel took care of these right away but have no control over what happened.. for example someone threw something off their balcony and someone threw up on the hallway, when mentioned to the front desk someone was on it within minutes.

We came for a family function and we enjoyed our stay. The only drawback rooms were a bit out dated. Carpets need cleaned bathrooms need some updating on broken tiles and caulking around showers. Beds were very comfortable. We had a great view from 17th floor enjoyed our deck. Liked the bar and restaurant on site. Pool area definitely needs some updating. Did not use it, but we still enjoyed our visit on the beach.

We visited the Wyndham to attend the Mega Reunion of Petersburg High School. We received excellent service. ALL of the staff seemed happy to assist you in having a great visit. Everyone that I talked to was extremely happy with the service we received. The location was EXCELLENT. Walk out of the hotel directly to the beach. Parking was great. My wife and I are both handicapped and we easily found adequate parking in one of their two garages. There is also excellent parking in their outside parking lot.

Rooms were clean, view was fantastic, and watching the sun come up over a quiet, private beach away from hotel row was refreshing. Pet friendly was a plus!

The hotel is located on the North End of VA beach, away from the crowd. That was something I was looking for since we have young children, and wanted a more quieter experience. The view was spectacular. We were in an Oceanfront room and we were able to catch the sunrise from our balcony. The restaurant was delicious and conveniently located downstairs. There was ample parking throughout our stay, and the indoor and outdoor pool was a plus. My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Wyndham !

Check in with 2 Chihuahuas was easy. The room was clean, the view off the balcony was great, the beach was great! Quiet, apart from the busy hotel row.

Daija was a fantastic help. She was so kind and considerate towards my family’s comfort. She is so sweet and a total rockstar of an employee. We’ve enjoyed our stay so much that we already plan on staying again in the near future.

Incredible views of the beach and Atlantic Ocean - oceanfront room on the 10th floor. We arrived early and we were able to get into our room at 1pm. The hotel is away from the boardwalk - it gives you more privacy and less congestion on the beach. Live music each night at the bar. Rooms were clean and well maintained. The small balcony was nice to sit on and watch the sun rise each morning.

They are pet friendly!! 😍 our first vacation with our dog. We absolutely loved our visit. Great view, right on the beach. All of the rooms overlook the pool area from the main hallway. Which is a relief when traveling with teens. There is an amazing restaurant within the hotel. It's truly a great place for a family getaway

Omg. Kayla at the front desk was fantastic. She really helped out a lot. Day trip became an amazing overnight trip. She needs a raise. The breakfast buffet was perfect. The shower... well turn the knob completely 180 degrees to get hot water...I didn't know this, so im letting you know this is how you get hot water in the shower. The balcony room was clean and magnificent.

This was an amazing experience! The staff was great, caring , and had recommendations to get my night started! Bring shower shoes, the showers was not the best! But the price, location, and room overall was definitely worth it!! I will be booking again!!!

My stay was great. Could the hotel be better? Of course. But my room was very clean, the ocean view was great, restaurant was good and my stay was quiet. I also had the same issue as some others with third party and not getting the room i booked but I was only there for a night so Rylee got me moved to the correct one with no issues. Night staff is great. Rylee got me checked in smoothly and her and the other girl (Kayla i believe her name was) were always upbeat and nice when i would walk through the lobby and night housekeeping was very fast getting linens to me when needed. 5 star stay for me! I will definitely be returning.

Great location away from the other hotels, the bar and grill was delicious! The wine selection was fantastic and they let you buy bottles to take back to your room. :)
Pet friendly rooms were good, you could tell they were pet friendly, but for the price I would DEFINITELY go back!

We stayed there while visiting family in Virginia. Really nice rooms, I liked the set up.

My husband and I stayed here in 2018, and again this past weekend. Again - 5 stars!!! This weekend, we checked in around 8pm and we were greeted with the wonderful hospitality and customer service from Dylan and the manager on duty (so sorry we did not catch your name!) Both very welcoming and friendly. Our room was very clean, a nice welcome note from Jennifer, and we so very much enjoyed our stay. We loved having an oceanfront room and being able to fall asleep and wake up to the sound and sight of waves in the ocean. When we checked out, Dallas was wonderful and friendly as well! We will be coming back :)

I gave this hotel a 5-star review simply because they allowed me to bring my dog with me to the beach. She's 11 years old and has always been given the hard "no" when they hear that she's a certain terrier breed or that she weighs an unacceptable 55lbs. We made a last minute decision to see if we could get a room at the beach and take in the waves a little longer while on a day trip. We called Wyndham, and the lady checked multiple hotels at the beach for me while I walked on the beach and watched my girlfriend run toward the water and away from the incoming waves with the happiest dog you'll ever meet. We could have driven home, but it was a cold December night. The warm room was well appreciated. The shower water was scalding hot and there didn't seem to be any cold water in the shower, but that's a very small problem that didn't ruin this wonderful experience. The night staff was friendly. Thanks for the king-sized bed with an ocean-side balcony. My dog had so much fun running in the sand for her first time. This was the best birthday gift a hotel could ever give me.

Great, quiet location right on the beach.
They have a pool (indoor and outdoor) and a restaurant if you don’t want to leave!
I have to say this was by far one of the cleanest beach hotels we’ve ever stayed in.
It’s about 10 minutes from all the restaurants and shops.
I’d def come back and stay here again.

Hotel was nice, shows its age in some ways but overall a nice place. Only issue had was irresponsible 0et owners that don't clean up after their pets. I feel sorry for the house keeping staff when they have to tend to that and anything else that is a total disregard for someone else's property.
