Walmart Supercenter

We needed some stuff after an apppintment and remembered there was a Walmart close by. Last time was there was well over 10 years ago and it used to be a dump back then. I think that's why I stayed away all these years. But I was pleasantly surprised with how much nicer it is now. The store was clean and well organized. I'll definitely keep that in mind next time I'm close by and need to get stuff.

We like that market. We have one in Norfolk. But we prefer to go to VB because the market there is cleaner and staff is helpful

It's very convenient, a quiet store for a mega store, clean, great prices, stocked well, easy to find items

My experience with Walmart has improved since my last post. They actually had groceries on the shelves and the prices weren't too bad.

A great place to shop. Busy but Never a line.

So glad we found this place on our recent trip to Luray. The food & staff were amazing.

Good location. Always have what I want in stock but one thing Walmart, move the cakes & donuts ok....my doc says only shop the outside isle to stay healthier & to leave all breads, cookies & pastries (processed items & sugartly items) alone. You are making that hard to do.

Always end up getting more than what I went for. Even with these cards!!

This is one of the few Walmarts I go too. Other Walmarts are run down, have a nasty clientele, messy isles and rude staff. But I never had any issues at this location.

Pharmacist are VERY helpful. Let me say that first. I normally only go to rite aid but now when I need to I can come here and trust my prescription will get filled quickly. The techs and pharmacist are very knowledgeable.

Secondly, Produce is extremely fresh all the time. Its hard to find locally since farm fresh closed. This Walmart is a great substitute.

Meats are fresh, cut by an expert butcher and you never waste money on poor cuts of anything, this includes New York strips and Ribeyes.

The bakery is always Stocked with fresh bread, and for some reason have 13 choices of everything including hot dog buns.

Tech, eh. I don't know if it's because everything has gone digital, but the electronics department leaves me wanting more.

Everything else is standard. But I really like this Walmart and always have. They normally have more than just self checkout open which is nice. I'm one of those guys that hate ringing myself up.

If you could only eat one of their sandwiches. I would have to say it HAS to be. The Smoked Mahi! Awsome!

This Walmart doesn't have much on the Latino frozen area. 😒

Got accused of stealing from here. Didn't do it, was an honest mistake. Thankfully the Walmart LP was actually understanding. However, they need to be more selective on the police officers they allow in their stores as I was accused of being drunk, and also deliberate on the honest mistake i had made. The Virginia Beach Police Department also had a very sad excuse for an undercover officer waiting at the rear of the parking lot to cement a joke of an officers claim. I give 5 stars, because Walmart actually believed it was an accident, and while i was detained for 30 minutes of my life, by some half-witted officer looking for a promotion, this store has always been respectful and polite. It wasnt their fault, honest mistakes get made some times. VBPD, shame on you!

This Walmart is so much less ghetto than the one on lynnhaven parkway
