AMAZING FOOD AND SERVICE!!! Mussel for appetizer with garlic bread; the sauce is sooo very good...the whole dish is excellent. Chef's choice dinner of Italian sausage, chicken, hearty bacon, peppers, garlic ,lemon, parsley with fresh made pappardelle pasta, excellent pillowy soft noodles cooked al dente, very good! Espresso, very rich and tasty. Limoncello cake, excellent finish. If you are in town, this is the best restaurant in Williamsburg.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. This place is in an ordinary parking lot and when you walk in the awkward waiting area is tiny. Doors open to a super cute, intimate dining area. The kitchen is secluded so it’s quiet. The layout is… weird honestly. But makes it quirky and unique. The food was AMAZING. Five of us had five different entrees and three appetizers. Everything was great. Service was wonderful. Our waiter, Will, was so attentive and accommodating.

We’re visiting from out of state so might never return but wish we could bring them home with us.

I found this place by chance and I’m beyond happy that I did. The food is absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is cozy and gorgeous, the staff is friendly. I love it here.

One of the best meals I've had in my life. Our server was they absolute best. I got everything he suggested, and I was far from disappointed. The atmosphere was great. We went here for my girlfriends birthday. When I say this was one of the best meals I ever ate I'm not exaggerating. I caught myself saying this multiple times. If you decide to order from here don't get it delivered go inside. Thank you for the great experience. I will definitely come here again. If you see a one star review ignore them.

If you have the opportunity to eat here, EAT HERE. The service is amazing. The food is very authentic Italian, I grew up in Europe and I can attest to this. The dessert is made fresh every day. They even bag your leftovers for you which not a lot of restaurants do anymore. The ambience is very relaxing as well.

Fabulous place! From start to finish, the service and food was excellent. Amy made sure to answer any questions we had about the menu and provided excellent service. The food was fresh, plentiful, and absolutely delicious. We would definitely go again if we are in the area again.

First off, our incredible server ENES provided five-star service that was outstanding! He was kind, knowledgable, and attentive. Furthermore, he made excellent suggestions. Even though the cuisine was excellent and exactly as described on Trip Advisor, ENES made the experience even better, so much so that we would ask for him to be our server the next time we make reservations.

This was my 2nd time there. Got the Pasta Alfredo this time and Pasta with Vodka sauce last time. Both are great! They offer a fresh homemade pasta upgrade and it's definitely worth it! Service is great and the staff seem really friendly. Really enjoy going here.

Amazing little Italian restaurant! Don’t let the external appearance trick you, this is a gem here in Virginia!

The space was cozy and welcoming, it felt like a very warming basement waiting for you.

The food was spectacular, I had Seafood Cannelloni which was super tasty.

Will was our waiter and he did an excellent job, kudos to him!

Every bite was good, so I totally recommend this place if you traveling through the area.

We came in kinda late and got to enjoy the beautiful little restaurant in all its glory. The staff was very attentive and a joy to talk and interact with. The food was very good and fresh. I would recommend to anyone in the area.

This place is a hidden jewel for those who are not locals. Food was delicious and beautiful. The owner greets you at the door, she's pretty much like your favorite cousin, fun and familiar. Then if you're lucky, Enes would be your server. This is a young guy who's extremely well educated, knows everything about the dishes and makes you feel as if you were truly the most important person in the room.
Go there and enjoy.

Walking into Francesco's is like being transported to Italy...from the displays of wine bottles to the paintings of Italy...the atmosphere only adds to the authenticity, The food here is incredible, very fresh, authentic, with amazing flavors. Eatting here really reminded us of our trips to Italy. We got the Bruschetta Toscana, Chicken Alfredo, Veal Parmagiana, and for dessert, a cannoli, and limoncello cake. It was difficult to choose which entree to get, so many appetizing options. We cannot wait to go back! Best Italian food through out Virginia.

Quaint, intimate dining ambience with authentic Italian flavors from family-owned establishment. Excellent wine selection, BUT heads up that only house wines are available by the glass (which were wonderful). I fully enjoyed their vodka sauce pasta & veal estate, while my husband spoke highly of their vegetarian pasta (see pics); AMPLE leftovers to enjoy at home the next day!

Very cozy atmosphere, extremely friendly staff. We came here after soccer and when we walked in we thought it might not be a good fit but the hostess assured us that the large party of kids was more than welcome. The bill can be a bit pricey; but nobody should be able to leave unsatisfied! Next time we are in town this will likely be a repeat visit for our family if not the team!

Great family atmosphere and very friendly service. Took my family there after a day out at Colonial Williamsburg so we weren't exactly in prime condition when we walked in. Just a great all around place to take the family.

The outside does not look like much but this is an amazing family run Italian restaurant! Great place to celebrate a special occasion or dine with your in-laws. My wife and I have been about 5 or 6 times. Last time I got the chefs special and my wife got vegetarian dish that was made to order from a previous menu cremini mushroom ravioli. They have an amazing menu with something for everyone. The appetizers I recommend is the Mussels Triestina. Please save room for dessert (or at least take it to-go) they are all made in house and change daily.

In here from out of town and got more than lucky! Incredible vibe accompanied by a wonderful staff--we interacted with 2--and decor. The food was as good as my wife and I have have eaten in quite awhile--an authentic Italian menu was lovely to read and discuss. We were very pleased. Thank you! The Osso Buco was divine.

This is a must if you love Italian food and are in Williamsburg, VA! Make sure to make reservations and check days they are open. Anything on the menu will be amazing but I highly recommend the muscles for an appetizer and Tiramisu and Cannoli for dessert. The staff are so awesome! Definitely made our trip here amazing.

Local spot in Williamsburg (outside of downtown). Appears to be family own and a community hotspot / well liked (it was really crowded and a lot of take outs). Food is great and good portion sizes. Recommend you call ahead and try to make reservations given how popular it is and small intimate size of the restaurant.

Little hidden gem! Food was excellent and price is super honest. Really recommend. Also the atmosphere and decor is great!
