This place is awesome! Friendly people come here from all different forms of the skate community. This place is quite safe and easy to spot your kids from most angles. Make sure that the snake run is clear before having your loved ones go down. Sometimes people like to go up and it can get a bit hairy. There’s also a dog park, tennis courts, open field, and a pretty sweet playground all on the same property. Enjoy!

Very nice and well-maintained park. The park itself is well laid out. The dog parks are huge with water and sectioned off from everything else.

This is an awesome park during the summer. Lots of shade and wooded trails. Also includes a skate park.

12/23 update They added a communications board from CHKD with images a child can point to for help communicating. It was really cool to see it there when we visited. Not sure when it was added. Yep, Still love this park.

I love this park.... It is set back, much of it under the trees, with great little open paths leading to shelters, bathrooms, tennis courts, two playground areas, a baseball field, several large shelters with grills....

There are lovely flowers in the spring and summer leading back to the playground/more wooded areas.

Lots of open areas to run and play. Oh, and a dog park AND skateboard park, which is entertaining to watch even if you don't use it.

Good parking...a little hike to get back to the playground... Important to consider if you have straggling little ones, but that also means most traffic is away from the kids.

There is a turn about for drop offs and pick ups right be the skatepark, play areas and bathrooms.

I love this park. Feels cozy and more in nature than many of the more open parks :)

A nice place to have a picnic (if you rent one of their shelters) or if you want a place to take your dog to (they have a fenced area for them to play in) or they even have a skate park. It's spacious and while it can be busy at times it's mostly a quiet area. The staff are polite and professional. They are following current Covid guidelines. Recommended.

My grandson had his 9th year birthday celebration here. All the kids seemed to have had a great time. We reserved a pavilion for the party at a great low price of zero. The kids could skate board, ride there bikes or play at the play at the playground. And everyone enjoyed themselves.

A baseball field, a dog run, a dancing plethora of roofed picnic bench areas, grills, an inclusive and accessible playground with a giant spinning climbey net, a flowery field to fly your drone in, shady walking trails, ample parking — what more could you want? Eight stars.

***THE PARK IS CLOSING JUNE 3RD 2019 FOR RENOVATIONS!! This is a great little city park with several separate, yet wonderful portions. This park has a very nice size dog park that's fenced in and provides drinking water, tennis balls and poo bags. There are tennis courts, horseshoes, skate ramps, a play ground with tire swing, monkey bars, slides, and more!! There are restrooms, and huge pavilions with plenty of room for multiple parties and lots of people at once. There's also some trails that lead out through the woods that we love to go walking on and explore!! Fantastic park!!! 😊

Great place for skateboarding. A little bit of everything for all skill levels. Smooth services so when you fall you slide instead of getting chunked up. Only two places where there is shade so it gets hot during the summer. Now they have lights so you can go there when it's dark. No helmet or pads required and it's free like all parks should be. Enjoy, clean up after yourself because this is the best park in VB, so take care of it and maybe they will build more like it. They got rid of the gate, so now you can skate during the holidays.

We had a work cook out and the shelter area was awesome. Used the grills, you have to bring your own propane but that's expected. Great play are for kids close by and bathrooms were open till 7pm . Skate park and trails available.

Nice park and playground. Not much shade in summer, but the skate park is huge and fun even on foot. Nice covered picnic shelters.

Dog park, paddle board courts, huge skate board park, great play ground, out door grills. Park has 2 sections. Enter at either entrance, both off of Providence Road. Safe, clean restrooms. Big soft ball area, not sure who plays there.

Very nice, clean and well maintained park! There’s alittle bit of everything here. Tennis court, playground, skatepark and a dog park! There’s also a couple of areas to host an outdoor party as well and plenty of parking. We come here all the time to go to the dog park.

I take my golden doodle (Betty) there quite often. I have been to three other parks in the area and this is the best by far. I highly recommend it.

Woodstock is the actual greatest! The playground has lots of cool things, including a Very tall hydra slide, a conical spinning web, and unique baby-and-me joint swing. There are many covered picnic pavilions which are commonly reserved for private use, but there are a few picnic areas around in the surrounding trees always free for public use. There are extensive hiking trails in the wooded area with cute wooden bridges over a small creek. A paved trail winds around the dog park area nearby, separated from the playground and bathrooms by a beautiful vast field filled with wildflowers! A very cool and heavily frequented skate park is opposite the dog park. This provides a great place to take a whole family to enjoy a lovely and active day, with something to interest everyone. Very clean and friendly! Our go-to for sure.
