Food Lion

A well organized Food Lion, I’ve been here many times to pick up groceries. Always well-stocked and well managed, although they are more often than not out of fried chicken at the deli. But, it’s a popular item, so it’s to be expected.

What a great place to shop in aisle selections, had no idea of the different categories & brand selections Food Lion cares. Greatest compliment is the level of in stock & cleanliness. Very Fast Very Friendly.

I go to this specific Food Lion each week and I have always had a positive experience. The Store is clean, the products are reasonably priced and all of the staff are friendly and helpful. Recently I was looking at the bakery goods and I was a good 30 feet from the Deli when an employee said "can I get you something from the Deli?" This stood out because this was someone who enjoyed their job and wanted to help me. I ended up getting a half pound of the all beef bologna and had it thinnly sliced. It was cheaper and tasted better than the name brand package of bologna.

This Food Lion has a lot of fresh meats...Turkeys , Pork Shoulders (Pernil) for Boricuas...Have some Spanish vegetables,Yucca,Yautia and Name

The employees are always great and most of the time the store always has what I need.

Love the sandwich meat & cheese $6 deal! Has self-checkout ! Always has my creamer. ☕

Go here because it's close to the house for quick stuff, employees are very nice, clean store, and always putting stock on the shelves.

This Food Lion really nice. Always stocked, fresh fruits and vegetables. Self checkout is available, as well as cashiers. The lines to checkout never take long. I have discovered pretty good deals inside. Highly recommend this Food Lion for your convenience!

It was very busy and cashiers were scarce.

This location must have changed management or it's policies because it has turned into a very pleasurable experience. The bakery person was very nice and accommodating (rather than the previous "why are you bothering me" attitude), the cashier got me from another line that only had 2 people so I could get through faster & she was engaging, on the way out another employee (manager?) admired the cake I had bought & made polite small talk. Both she & the bakery person expressed wishes
for a good birthday for whomever the cake was for. I've lived by this store for 20 yrs & never experienced it like this.

This Food Lion has self check out which gets you in and out of the store lickity split! There are 4 self check out registers with one associate there if you need help. Veteran Parking spot (Thank You). ROSES next door and a GoodWill. Advance Autoparts across the street and a Long John Silvers nearby. Pollard's Chicken and Little Caesars next door as well. This Food Lion is always well stocked except for the 12 pack sodas which are frequently on sale as low as 3 for $9.00 and up to 3 for $12.00.

Thanks to all the ladies in the Deli and Bakery. The chicken was hot n fresh . Also the cupcakes was the bomb!!!! Thank you I pick up 7/21/22. So professional and it was on time😉😉💖💖💖

Sherry McDonald is absolutely wonderful. She was so caring and kind helping my Grandma in a wheel chair. She even packed our groceries in the trunk and let us pull up to make it easier for Grandma. There was a lovely man who helped pick up wheelchair in trunk. This is where I wanna shop when I visit again from LA. Again, Sherry McDonald you are a beautiful human being. Some hero's do not wear a cape... Sherry you were my hero Today. Thank you.

Lovvvvve shopping at this Food Lion!! I come here for all my shopping multiple times a week! Sherry and Kyle are great!! Excellent customer service!! They always make us feel like family/neighbors when we come in!!

11/11/21 Review:

This Food Lion has improved remarkably over the past 3 years. When Lidl moved in next door we thought it was over for Food Lion. But NO! Food Lion doubled down, renovating and repainting their store and now that Lidl has raised their prices and laid off 2/3 of their initial workforce, we've all drifted back to Food Lion.

4/28/22 Update:

This store has retained a team of long-term employees that make it happen. I see many of the same clerks and managers as from 10 years ago when I moved here. Great consistency here, staffed by seasoned professionals.

The store was very clean and organized. The staff was knowledgeable and greeted you with a smile. The young man in the parking lot retrieving carts had the warmest smile and was very courteous.
