Purchasing lumber can be intimidating when you are new. The gentleman that helped me explained everything very well and had absolutely no problem with answering all of my questions. Selection is good for a part time wood worker such as myself.

They are open to the public. The variety of lumber is ok. Not a hugh retail area, but it has enough wood to choose from. They don't cut the lumber to the size you need. If the piece is ten feet you have to purchase the whole thing.

Good ole sweetwater

I've been here a couple of times, but they've closed their retail area because of COVID. The person I talked to said they may never reopen it, and if you want to buy wood there's a 100 FBM minimum order. If they don't reopen it'll be too bad.

Called to buy 80 bf of walnut mixed between 4/4, 5/4 and 8/4. Fellow I spoke to said they were not interested in selling less than 100Bf of each.
Too bad. I used to like this place.

We went out of our way to go to this store only to find out they can’t help us from 12-1 PM because everyone is at lunch, despite being listed as open online (they do have a sign on the door saying they are closed for lunch). That is pretty terrible customer service.
