Ayo African Restaurant bar and lounge

You must try the Catfish with Jollof rice, the Egusi, Ogbono Soup with Fufu…… this is so delicious and the quality is like I visited the African Country…….. all of these foods have so much health benefits and I can’t believe I ran across this Restaurant but I am happy I did….. we need about 50 restaurants all around Atlanta…….. this is truly the New improve “This Is It Restaurant”….. worth every dollar spent….. If you don’t leave a review you are a real hater……. First time won’t be my last time……

The food here is very good. The gentleman who works there is always very cheerful, funny and helpful. I have never had a problem with my order and I intend to keep going back to them

Pretty cool African restaurant had the egusi soup and the meat with the jollof, the owner is nice and the gulder African beer is strong one cup had me tipsy.

It was my first time eating African food and it was very savory and tasty but after half the meal the flavor feels too strong. Would come back for the beef and jollof, the egusi fishy taste is yummy but too strong for me after a couple of bites

Madam Toyin can cook! Please! I bought Suya, white rice with catfish! Excellentee! One of the best restaurants in town! You need a place to eat well prepared African meal, look no further.

Ofada or Ayamase here was so good! I ordered from them almost everyday using Uber eats when I was in Atlanta! The main guy who runs the place also has a lot of social events that he invited me to. I wish their business all the best!

Yummy Egusi soup with 2 huge portions of goat meat. My husband and kids ate it all before I could take a pic. Neighborhood African restaurant check them out if you're near Austell/Mableton area!!!

Best Nigerian food in GA. I would say the best African food, but you know the Nigerians already think they have the best Jollof in the world so...😉

I had the egusi soup with goat and rum don’t walk here please! They are so welcoming and the food is amazing! They gave us great recommendations and the drinks are creative and strong! I will definitely return to this west side gem!

The jollof rice, beans, and dodo were very good. The beef was a bit tough. The Zobo was very good as well. Nice ginger taste. The saki was slightly more salty than my taste. The meat pie was a bit dry for my taste as well but the main dishes were top notch so still 5 stars in my book. I would recommend this place and I would come back.

Good authentic Nigerian food. Don't have to be Nigerian to appreciate Ayo's homemade meals.
Love their cooking! Ayo comes highly recommended. If you are not sure if your pallet can take the hot spice, tell them, and they will give you recommendations.
My last order, Ewedu, was very nice. It's not too spicy.

This African cuisine is spot-on delicious. Good customer service. The wait is long. However, the food comes out delicious every time. I am a huge fan of their Beef Suya, Fufu and egusi soup. This place is way better than the King Caribbean restaurant across the street from them. This place takes time with your food and also wraps it properly. The packaging is immaculate for to-go orders. The King Caribbean restaurant just put their egusi soup in a styrofoam container while it drips on the side and they serve it to you leaking in the bag. I didnt have that problem here and the worker's attitudes are much better. I recommend.

The Best African food in the city! I had the goat meat with jollof rice, and it was delicious! The goat meat was not super tough like these other restaurants. The jollof rice was perfect! I absolutely enjoyed my meal!

I recently moved to Georgia from Boston and have missed Nigerian food. While visiting my family in Atlanta I demanded that we find a Nigerian restaurant. After looking at the pictures and reviews I said let’s try this place. They did not disappoint!!! The SUYA?!?? 😩🤤🥰 My cousin enjoyed her Jollof and the Egusi is so nice!

Great experience coustmer service it is great and they so friendly the food is great the only things just the beef need a little bit more to be cooked it was a little tough

I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT! I am an American who LOVES AFRICAN FOOD and this is my GO TO restaurant when I want GOOD AFRICAN FOOD! I’ve tried many dishes here and they are all good and they are just as good every time that I go as the last time I went. The food is consistently GOOD! The customer service is really good as well! They are kind and friendly and this is just a REALLY GOOD RESTAURANT!! I give them 5 stars!!!

The customer service was excellent. The food that I was served was even better. This first trip will definitely not be the last. Even my daughter who is an extremely normal picky 7 year old, was able to eat her food. Overall tremendous experience and food

Amazing Customer Service I must say. I always come here at least once or twice a month because of how Authentic and fresh the food is. The owner is always pleasant, and she makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. It’s somewhere you should definitely check out.
