Sweetwater Park

This place is incredible! The upkeep of the grounds, the well lite parking lot, ball fields, tennis courts, and dog parks make me feel safe and secure. I come here for the dog park and it is astounding. We will definitely be making our way back here on a regular basis. This is the eutopia of dog parks. Still a great place, although someone had the audacity to abandon a Husky that is still a pup. There is no telling how long he had been out there. Whomever did this disgusting act should be ashamed of themselves. They left the water fountain on high, so along the fence line where the dogs like to run was now a running mud trail. That poor dog was covered in red mud. He is safe now with a new start. This place is not your trash dumping, animal abandoning, or drug using/selling park. If you can't take care of an animal, don't get one.

Place is very nice and is pretty dog friendly. The park itself is good for kids and can handle and little gremlin that wants to play on it. Only downside may be that the sun is directly over you half the time, but it really isn't a problem.

Small and big dog sections. Well maintained grass. No holes in fence. Very big! Maybe too big for the small dogs.

Great dog park with very large areas separated for large and small dogs

It has a tennis center with tennis courts. It has 2 baseball fields, a track to walk on around one of the fields, a large playground and lots of picnic benches all over. There are two large areas for dogs. There is a small dog and large dog area with lighting around all of it. There is ample parking.

Amazing Park! I took my 6 month old pup and he loved it! Came home to a peaceful night sleep. I will most def be coming back. If you have a small dog, big dog bring them here they will love it!!

A nice park for older kids, very clean, friendly and spacious. I met some really nice moms out there, the only problem was it wasn't very ideal for my one year old to play

This park is a hidden treasure. I passed it many times before realizing it was there. Very clean, lots of space to run around, plenty of picnic tables, not very crowded. Two thumbs up indeed.

Awesome place to visit for a hike or a swim! There are at least 3 different trails and they all have different advancement levels. The view is very peaceful at the water. I also did not know the show Walking Dead was filmed there! Pretty cool disclaimer!! There is also a quaint museum near the park entrance. I'll have to explore more about this place because it is so big!

The dog park is fantastic. Large, clean, well lit. Separate areas for large and small dogs. Has dog bag stations, covered benches, and a water spigot.

This park is well maintained and the people I have encountered have all been pleasant. My dogs enjoy the freedom of the enclosed area.

Great dog park, I just wish there were more doggos to play with! Good seating for parents, there are almost always balls around to throw. Their disposal stations are always well stocked. My boys like it here!

Love this park! I grew up playing at this park! I love that it is still around and it has been upgraded. There are 2 softball fields, tennis courts, a playground, a paved walking trail and a covered pavilion area. There is also a small and large dog park. There is a water spout for dogs and shaded seating for owners.

People who visit here with their pets are very friendly

I go to the dog park area with my puppy and as long as there are other dogs, it's great fun. Sometimes there is absolutely nobody which is a shame because the dog area is very well organized. It's separated in small and large dogs, fenced in, provides a watering station, some shade and benches, poop bags and trash cans.
