This was my first time there and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I would like to say thank you to Timmy, her instructor, the barber and everyone else who helped with my service. The price was very reasonable and I walked out looking GOOD 😊. Thank you everyone for the meticulous care and very professional service. You will be highly recommend.

Amazing school. Positive and joyful environment. There are 100+ students with great talent. They offer Barber, Cosmetology, Nails in estheticians services all at a discounted rate. Make sure to get your stylist name so you can request on the next visit. There's half off for seniors every Wednesday

I was visiting Atlanta for the holidays and I always travel light so I wasn’t able to bring anything for hair maintenance. I called around and Shearz was able to see me. The institute is so professional and clean. The students and floor manager were all so welcoming and knowledgeable. Don’t underestimate the students, they are driven and are working hard to deliver their own brand. A student named Maria worked on me and she was amazing! I went in for a wash and blow dry. Watching the students all work so hard on their clients and able to explain each step of their work. They are selling themselves short by charging next to nothing. I know they are in training for their hours but they are all just so amazing and professional.

Shearz is a great place for clients and students! You feel very welcomed as soon as you walk in and they have great customer service both on the phone and in-person. All of the instructors are very educated on what they’re doing/talking about which is helpful. The owner is also very hands on and motivating to everyone which is very impressive compared to other places! Highly recommend.

I met a young lady the other day wearing a “Shearz” T-shirt, so I wanted to be nosy 🧐 and ask about the school, and its location. Well the young lady gave me the address, lol I SCREAMED at her, “OMG, THAT PLACE, HE ONLY CHANGED THE……… NAME AGAIN”. Well she “Politely”,and “Proudly” corrected me, Oh, Miss I’m so sorry but this is a totally different school, with different owners, I calmed down and said oh. We talked for a while and she invited me to the school to Have A Shearz Experience. Well I did WOW, THIS SCHOOL IS VERY CLEAN AND INVITING. Everyone was So Professional, From the young lady was was sitting behind the desk, (she was wearing a Blue Scrub Uniform) and of course the young lady that I had met,
The gentleman man who shampooed my hair, thank you so much for a job well done, the young lady who straightened and curled my hair, it was very busy, and I had to wait, but it was worth it.

I am military and always trying to find some place to get my hair done when I am on this side of town. Found It
Well I am back at the base and everyone loves my hair. I just had it pressed out and curled, but I’m getting compliments on my hair, I didn’t get any when I went to a regular salon.

Whom ever is the owner of “SHEARZ”, I will be back, your establishment, everyone is so very professional. I see why you are so busy and your students are very professional.

One last thing, not sure what cleaning supplies that you are using, but your restroom smells so Amazingly Clean. That has to be a professional cleaner that you’re using, because it smells so good, I wish I could have it for myself,

I started going to Shearz institution cosmetology school recently and so far it has been a great experience. Lots of smiling faces and super friendly atmosphere. The price to attend the school is super affordable compared to the others in the area and I’m super excited to start this new journey with this school! If your looking to get your nail tech, cosmetology, barber or esthetician license this is definitely the place for you!!

I went to Shearz to get a silk press & curl & Keisha was amazingggggg. She was so patient & kind. The wash itself was so relaxing. The school was professional & clean. Best cosmetology school iv ever been to for a service. I will be back for sure!

Im currently a nail technician student, and the school honestly was the push I needed to boost my career. I was very skittish at first because I had never taken clients before but this school allows you to take clients after 2-4 weeks. It helped me get out of my comfort zone and become excited to practice my craft in my off time. Communication is a big thing here so as long as you voice your needs/wants you can get where you need to go .

Gabby and Lay were both equally amazing! They tag teamed my see in and got my head all the way together. Gabby is soooo sweet and patient and I just love how outgoing and HILARIOUS Lay was. The entire staff just has good vibes in general. The receptionist even gave me a trim on her own time. I will return and continue to support this establishment

Keisha was wonderful working with my grand daughter and Lenaiza did a great job braiding her hair. The instructor does well with the students. You can tell that it's her passion.

The young lady who did my hair was very knowledgeable of what she was doing. She immediately knew what my hair needed to be healthy. The overall service received when I walked into the school was non short of professional and welcoming! I will be returning again and again!

The school has an amazing environment and yes it is a learning experience for the students, they are very talented and willing to learn and try new things to meet the clients needs. I came and got a color with a style and it turned out beautifully!

As a student, I love the fact that the staff & fellow students make you feel like family. They are very uplifting and it makes for a great educational experience. A very motivating, fun learning environment.

It is a great salon and school too. I Went to get a wash and press, the students were advanced, good customer service, they made sure I left the salon happy. I will definitely be going back.

I do you every Wednesday for half-price senior day. I love the way they do my hair and it's a nice enviroment

I was very pleased with Shamika who colored my hair. The students are motivated to assist each other as are the instructors.
