Animal Talk Medical Center

Our experience was Animal Talk was fantastic. The doctor was patient and explained the process and the timeline. The front desk was always cordial and welcomed our dog by name. They would even come out from behind the desk to greet and pet her. The techs were amazing. Our dog had a cast they had to reset do every 2 weeks and they went out of their way to decorate it each time. Class act place!

Our family cannot thank Dr. Lucas and the entire team at Animal Talk enough for saving our puppy's life! Our 8 month old goldendoodle (Mamba) had stopped eating/drinking for a couple days. We thought it was due to him getting up on the counter and eating our leftover burgers a couple nights prior. I'm so thankful we took him to see the experts at Animal talk! When our initial thought of severe upset stomach did not get better after 2 days of meds and still no eating or drinking Dr Lucas strongly recommended we bring him back to do xrays and an overnight dip test. That test confirmed what he had suspected, a G.I tract obstruction that required a surgical removal. Dr Lucas did surgery right away even while he himself was feeling under the weather. During surgery it was confirmed that Mamba had eaten a full size crew sock and it became lodged in his small intestines🙈 The next few days were critical & scary. Mamba had to stay overnight 3 nights but I received a call each evening with a progress report from Dr Lucas. You can tell how much he cares about the animals in his care & it calmed our nerves to know how he was progressing. In the end Mamba took very well to the procedure and has made a full recovery with staples being removed today. Needless to say without the attention to detail, immense care of entire team & quick action of Dr. Lucas we would've had a very different outcome & most likely fatal to Mamba. Even though I feel the cost of the care Mamba received was extremely fair, I highly recommend pet insurance and/or Pet Assure for when emergencies like this arise to help with costs. Mamba will be on a tight leash for awhile but we are grateful to have him with us still. Thank you tremendously Animal Talk team!

I went here when my pup was sick on a day they were closed. The vet set up for us to get in quickly (within a couple of hours) then did a thorough exam on the pup. The bill was greatly lower than I was expecting after having experienced an emergency vet visit at another location that cost thousands. The vet doctor was knowledgeable and answered ally questions and concerns, I will definitely be making this my regular vet

I brought my miniature poodle in for what I thought was a minor issue, but Dr. Lucas found a major issue that needed immediate attention. Molly underwent surgery and started healing on the same day. The team at Animal Talk treated Molly like their own and had her best interests at heart. I feel very fortunate to have such a compassionate veterinary office taking care of my furry friend. Molly is now healing well and doing much better. I am so lucky to still have her in my arms.

Doctor was very thorough and caring for my baby. Gave me an accurate estimate before I actually paid felt that my dog got the best treatment and it was definitely an emergency situation. Animal Talk is my new local vet in the area.

Dr. Sarno takes his time and answers all questions. All the staff have been kind, caring, and respectful. Gabby Voigt went above and beyond to help get my dog his proper medications to treat giardia. Dr. Lucas helped during a holiday to help give my dog the proper dosage of pepto to help his diarrhea. Thank you!!

They came highly recommended by a good r friend of mine and they did not disappoint. Staff super friendly and knowledgeable. I scheduled them for a grooming appointment and the groomer did a fantastic job. Thank you

As always, we had an incredible experience. We went in super concerned that our sweet pup was seriously ill, but they eased our concerns, gave us options of treatment, and sent us home with meds and so much peace over the fact that it was just her back acting up again. Thank you all so so much for being so kind, full of grace and compassion, and for just being the best team of animal care people in the world! Or at least in our area for sure. :)

Best bet by far. Has been my dog’s primary provider for 5 years (since he was a pup) and Dr. Lucas and the team really put the animals first and best treatment plans. They all go over everything and don’t just pop in and leave. Highly recommended.

Love this place, love the staff. We had a couple emergency visits with our puppy and they have always been super friendly and welcoming. They work hard to meet your needs to the best of their ability. One of the best animal clinics/vet offices I've ever worked with. Thank you so much for taking care of our puppy!

The unfortunate part of pet ownership is the unexpected expenses that pop up on occasion. Our Mug's has had her share if issues, but there hasn't been anything come up outside the realm of affordability. We're regular ole working folk, but our Mugzie is like most other pets, is part of our family , and affordable care is as important to us & her, as it is to most of You.
My confidence level with Animal Talk is 100 %.

My daughter's bunny was not doing well, so we rushed him to Animal Talk. Unfortunately, he had a congenital defect and did would not recover. The amount of compassion and sympathy the staff showed us was amazing. They treated us and her bunny like family. We found a new vet that bittersweet day.

Dr. Sarno, owner/ manager Amanda and Gabbie were wonderful to work with. Our first visit with our new puppies here went great. They are really kind and take great pride in making sure you are comfortable and all your questions are answered. Thank you guys!!

Staff and vet are amazing. Very compassionate with me and my dogs. I was new to Wentzville last year and they have been great!!

I can't thank you enough for taking care of Toby. Although he gave me the cold shoulder for taking him to you the first day home - wouldn't even look at me on the drive home (hahaha), I know he was well taken care of and will no longer be suffering from his infected teeth. Thank you so much for taking him in and helping him to get better. :)

Best vetinary office in the state of Missouri... they truly care about you and your pets ... very friendly people ! They came out at 11 o'clock at night and took care of my cat who had a bladder stone. I recomend anyone and everyone to go here

Visited for the first time recently with our new puppy! The staff made us feel welcome and comfortable! Our puppy was so happy there, he just laid on the exam table like he was at home. Loved that they had wellness programs to assist with the cost too. My mom referred us to Animal Talk. Her 12 year old cairn terrier loves going to the vet for appointments and boarding, even after having two different surgeries, her dog still loves going and wags her tail every time she sees the vet. That's saying something.

Excellent vet! Very knowledgeable and takes time educating and takes time for questions and makes sure to give quality care! Was able to get us in last min right before closing and everyone was super pleasant even tho it was right before closing shows that everyone working cares about the work that they do. Also very very fair on pricing. Definitely a vet office to switch to.

Animal talk got my chihuahua Aspen in with last minute notice which was much appreciated.l as she was not feeling well. Dr Lucas was thorough in explaining all the options for diagnosis and treatment plans as usual. Aspen seems to be improving!

Animal Talk Medical Center has given us valuable care and advice on treatments with our dog who suffers from allergies. The receptionists and groomers are so welcoming and easy to work with.
