The Brass Rail

Grabbed dinner at The Brass Rail. It was great. Perfectly cooked Medium Filet with a Huge crab cake. April had coconut shrimp. The Harvest Chicken soup was good and creamy. Wonderful service at the bar even though they were slammed on a Friday night.

Our server Zoe was awesome. This was my fiance & I first time here. I would most certainly come back. The food came out in no time and was fresh. I ordered a grilled chicken salad with added bacon. Everything was fresh from the lettuce to the croutons. There was just the right amount of grilled chicken and the homemade ranch is a must have. Until next time.

Our new favorite place! The food was fantastic, server was a doll, and the place is beautiful! Menu has great options, not too many not too few and a nice mix of items and is reasonably priced! Smoked chicken wings were amazing and big. Crab cake was delicious. Blackened grilled shrimp was YUM and cooked perfectly! Sides were great. Drinks were STRONG! Can't wait to go back!

Absolutely fantastic. We ordered the steak sandwich and the cheeseburger. Cooked perfectly. Even the bun was fluffy soft with toasted crunch. Wine and waters served in xl glasses. Gorgeous atmosphere. In fact we took photos on our way out bc the background was phenomenal. It is rare for me to say excellent wait staff, but they were. It's expensive. It's worth it. Best for adults without children. Tables are high up, you will wait for a table, and their wine list is longer than the food menu. If you are going on a date, you can't do better than this. We took our daughter, husband, and grandkids (pictured). Everyone loved it.

We came here tonight and had Abbey for a server (I hope I spelt her name correct). She is absolutely AMAZING! The food was top notch and abbey was so personable. I had 2 martinis and my husband had some buffalo trace. My daughter was so hungry abbey expedited her food to have it come out first which was super cool. I got the crab cakes (amazing) and my husband got the French onion burger and he loved it. We will definitely be back mostly because our waitress was kick a$$ but also the food and atmosphere is a for sure bonus <3

We went here with extended family (about 25 people total) and we had an entire room to ourselves. Despite them being understaffed they went above and beyond, had an incredibly positive attitude, amazing service, and helped with everything they could. The jambalaya was delicious, highly recommend ordering!!

This place was worth the wait!! I will definitely be coming back again!
A group of us went here tonight for dinner. We checked in and was told it could be a 45min to an hour wait. They asked for my name and number. I got a text welcoming me and stating they would text me when my table of 8 would be ready.
After about 40 minutes I was notified our was ready and we all were seated immediately.
Once we were all seated, we were greeted by Megan. She was awesome! She made sure we were all continously taken care of. Megan was a complete rock star!!!
Our food was delicious!!! The hamburger I ordered was melt in your mouth AMAZING! The the homemade sea salt chip were perfect!!!

Food was amazing as always! Service was awesome, although busy (did not get his name, but is Raymo on our receipt) he took the time to answer and acknowledge all of our grandson's questions and comments!! Ribs and burgers were fantastic and the lava cake was the best!!!

DELICIOUS! Always our go to for a local dinner spot. Their to-go process is a breeze & we’ve never had an issue. The food is always steaming hot when we get back home. Portions are huge! My mouth is watering writing this review. Like a child, I highly recommend the chicken strips!

Had a great experience with our waitress Cassie…..very pleasing personality and very attentive to our needs! That lady was excellent making sure we were satisfied and if not she’d make it right and she did🥰

Now on the other hand, let’s talk about the restroom situation……simply horrible!!!! You have this huge establishment but 2 bathrooms….womens/men’s so if you gotta go really bad and that door is locked, crazy and on top of that, the employees share the same restrooms so if they’re in there, you can forget. Soooo, with that being said, please put more toilets in this place please & thx!!!!

The Brass Rail has quite a following. Went with a group of friends on Saturday night. The vibe of the restaurant was excellent. We got seated in the bar and the staff was awesome, the bartenders knew their stuff. It was easy to spot the regulars talking and having a great time. The staff was team oriented. They all filled drinks, ran food, and bussed tables to keep the pace moving. We had the Brass Balls appetizer and the Blue Chips appetizer. Wish I got a picture of those chips, best appetizer I ever had. Food was terrific.

My wife and I stopped near here during a long trip, and saw this place listed as having the best crab cakes in the area. The food (crab cakes, ribeye, and sides) were amazing. It was easily one of the best steaks that I've had in forever. We sat in the bar since it was a busy Friday evening, and the service was excellent. I would go back here in a minute if we are ever in this part of the country again. Service, great food, and location. Highly recommend.

This is a MUST when my husband and I travel to St. Louis. The steak is so good it is mind blowing. Seriously it doesn't make sense and defies logic on how excellent the steak is here. Equally as good is the Cajun Shrimp and Chicken Pasta. The Monterey Shrimp appetizer is excellent as well. Please do yourself a favor and give this place a try. You definitely won't regret it. Keep doing what you're doing Brass Rail. You nail it consistently EVERY SINGLE TIME!

Update: Recently visited this establishment after a long break due to the pandemic. Met the new owner, April who was very sweet and professional. As always they knocked it out of the park with service, selections and impeccable quality of their food. We requested the manager to let him know how amazing our experience continues to be when we visit. Jamie came to our table and remembered us. How wonderful is that when one of the restaurants you adore remember and appreciate you as their customer. This continues to be an absolute MUST stop when we're in this area.

Update (3/23/23): This place is STELLAR - do you hear me?!? The food and service is to absolutely die for. My husband and I were in town for personal reasons and as I've repeatedly stated above this is a MUST when we visit. To the point where we'd delay our return home to eat here. Jamie, Ryan, Alexis and Ellie were truly at the top of their game - as always. It is extremely difficult to run a restaurant with consistently great service, high and consistent quality of food and very caring staff, but they make it appear effortless. We ordered smoked wings, filet w/ loaded mashed potatoes 🥔, sautéed spinach and Monterey Shrimp, Brass Balls (spicy cheese appetizer) and IT WAS ALL AMAZING 👏! Everything was flawlessly executed and this is why we return to this establishment time and time again. Everyone at Brass Rail we truly appreciate you, salute you and adore you. Please keep up the EXCELLENT work you're doing. Thank you so much for giving us your best EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. We can't say enough about this wonderful O'Fallon gem.

We had the Alaskan White fish, coconut shrimp, Cuban sandwich, chicken, fries and garlic mashed potatoes. The chicken was a little crunchy with alot of breading. Other than that the food was all great. Shared a chocolate lava cake for dessert and it came with a raspberry sauce, amazing and super sweet.

Was going to dine in but Friday night...busy. So ordered to go. Food was made to order fast. Steak sandwich with Cajun fries...good. Fried chicken wrap with house made chips... good. Bbq dinner with Caeser salad...good. French dip with fries...good. To go portions of the main entrees and sides were huge. So delicious. Will be back.

Really good experience at brass rail. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich (pictured). Not only was it huge, it was very very good. I would definitely get it again. The Cajun fries were also plentiful and very tasty. Atmosphere was cool, and a touch noisy, but I was sitting close to the bar. Service was great. Win for brass rail, I'll be back.

Fantastic food. The wings are literally the best in the area. I also like the steak sandwich and the Buffalo chicken sandwich. You can swap the sauce for any wing sauce in on the sandwich.

We got the spinach artichoke dip appetizer. It was great. I got the Ribeye with loaded potatoes and sautéed mushrooms. So tender and great tasting with a cold beer. Seth was awesome and attentive to everything! Thank you!

Great food! Was impressed with the quality of food due to the sports bar type setup. Service was great. Had steak, shrimp and scallops with sautéed mushrooms, asparagus, cesar salad and mashed potatoes. The martini is a must try, it was delicious!

Excellent food in a relaxed atmosphere. Great service! Fast, fresh, and delicious! We'll definitely be back 😊
