A must visit if you are in St Louis!
We went on a Friday night without a reservation, and we were seated right away.
The host and servers are all very friendly and helpful, with a good knowledge of the menu.
We shared the Caesar's salad between 2 to start, and had a whole pizza each for main (although 1 pizza between 2 would be enough), so took some home in a box.
The drinks menu is just what you need for a casual pizza night and they have non alcoholic options too!
Would definitely return!

I am a sandwich person. A true sammich person. When I tell you that no matter what sandwich you get from their menu, it's going to be the bomb. 🔥🔥🔥 My personal favs are their Toscano, Bistro Beef, and Chicken Salad.. and the Little Gem salad? *Chef's Kiss*🤌🏾

Sooo good! The little gem salad with the beets added to the salad is absolutely delicious! I tried the butter it squash and it was so good! You have to give it a try!

Honestly, probably the best pizza I’ve ever had!! Plus, the cheese and burnt toast were amazing as well. Super friendly staff too. I knew nothing about this place other than the pizza being good based on what I’ve seen online so we just showed up, but you do need a reservation. However, they were very accommodating. Can’t wait to go back.

Delicious Saturday Even meal on the patio. The Cesar salad was unique in its freshness and flavor .

The mixed drink I tried was with a persimmon liquor held my interest and was very exciting.

The mushroom pizza did not disappoint.

The only mediocre part of our meal was the cookie. It was ok, but with everything else so stellar, it could not keep up.

What can you say? This is one of those restaurants that you just love everything about it…the atmosphere, the staff, the amazing food! The bread! The Italian salad…yum! I haven’t had a pizza here yet that I haven’t liked, but the simplicity and flavor of the Tomato Pie is my favorite. They have a nice patio and additional outdoor seating for two on the sidewalk. They also serve lunch.

Visited while in town for work. The food (Italian salad, pepperoni pizza, and olive oil cake) was all delicious. This is also the first place that I've tried natural unfiltered wine and now I'm a fan.

Tried it for the first time tonight with my daughter and her boyfriend. All 3 of us loved it. I grew up in NY so I like to think I have decently high standards. We started off with the garlic pull-apart bread. Melt in your mouth to die for. The three of us split a sausage pizza and a pepperoni pizza. Couldn’t say which we liked more as both were fantastic. The staff there was amazing. Super friendly and helpful. The only bummer was that since we got there late (8PM) they had already sold out of the chocolate chip cookies. No worries though as we’ll absolutely be back soon, only earlier next time.

Union loafers was such a refreshing little place in St Louis. Stopped here on the recommendation from a work colleague while “stranded” in town on a work trip. Great service and friendly staff. The Blueberry Lemon soda was just amazing and so refreshing, I still dream of it. Will definitely stop here again next time I’m in town.

One word, Amazing! Just go, you won’t be disappointed.
The space is bright with sunlight streaming through big windows and the food is amazing. Well worth waiting for or order to go.
We shared a Little Gem salad with bacon. Nice chunky pieces, oh my! The roasted pork sandwich fantastic. Don’t forget wine and spirits and yes you have to have the best chocolate chip cookie ever.
This is a must place to go. I must also say how very impressed I was with the staff. Not only do they do a great job, but they also work so well together. For me this really makes for a great place.
P.S. Yes, they sell bread, pretzels and a wonderful pizza rosa.

Wow .. was in town with the family and ordered Loafers for lunch. I had the Turkey ,Bacon Bianca ! Oh my. Tasty , fresh and one of the best Sandwiches I have had. The potatoe salad was also very good . If u go to STL u need to make this a stop.

I always get amazing bread here! They put it online every day and you can reserve loaves to pick up later :)

If you don’t know what to get I would recommend the Light+Mild loaf, it’s a wonderful sourdough that’s great with some butter! “Janie’s Bread” is the whole wheat version of their sourdough which is even more sour if you’re into that, I loved it myself.

They open 11-3 for deli sandwich lunch service, and then 5-9:15 for dinner with their pizzas. Retail bread loaves are available this entire time (even when they are “closed” for dining in between meals), and the hoagie + demi baguettes they use for sandwiches are available to purchase after 3pm- DO NOT miss out on those demi baguettes they are WONDERFUL.

After many attempts at trying to get the sourdough bread and chocolate chip cookies from here we were finally lucky enough to do so. Well worth the wait. The sourdough is crusty and fluffy all at the same time. The cookies use high quality chocolate and the sprinkle of salt is a great contrast.

Some of the best sandwiches and bread we’ve ever had. Jessica provided excellent service and amazing recommendations. We can’t believe we didn’t come here sooner. Definitely some of the best sandwiches in St. Louis!

We love this gourmet sandwich and bread shop. As expected, the bread was terrific. The chicken rice soup was the tastiest soup I ever had and the little gem salad is truly special. Service was great, but the atmosphere is a bit noisy.

My lunch was absolutely delightful! Try the blueberry lemon soda, so refreshing and not overly sweet. My salad and roast beef sandwich were very tasty. The atmosphere is so cute. Staff were so friendly.

The crust of the pizza reflects the exceptional bakers behind this establishment, quality of ingredients, and true passion. There was such an amazing flavor, crisp, and delicate airy texture.

And if you do not recognize that there are levels to salad, these people will open your eyes to the truth. Aside from quality sourced greens, the dressing had such an incredible depth of flavor, great care was taken in the incorporation of each ingredient, and the pairing of ingredients demonstrates very talented tastemakers.

Finally, if the chocolate chip cookie seems like an underwhelming offering, THINK AGAIN. So buttery, perfectly baked, perfect amount of salt, and an expertly proportioned level of a stellar chocolate.

It's a very casual neighborhood cafe -- stand in line, give your order, and they bring it to you. I had the chicken with rice soup -- delicious with big pieces of tender white chicken, carrots, celery, everything it should have. It came with delicious bread, and I had the giant chocolate chunk cookie for dessert. I am a cookie freak, and this is the first time I couldn't finish a cookie. It was huge. We ate outside and it was very pleasant. The people were extra nice, the restrooms were spotless. What's not to like? Next time I'm going to get a loaf of their homemade bread -- and I'll try the chicken salad!

This is a great place to grab a satisfying lunch. I was a little hesitant to try them since it looked to just be a sandwich shop with a few soups and salads, but don't let that deter you. They bake fresh breads in-house that are incredibly delicious, and make the sandwiches that much better. You get generous portions of meats that are very flavorful and thoughtfully garnished. Their trout salad (which they don't always offer) is one of best things I've ever tasted! They become a pizza place for dinner, but I haven't tried that yet. Either way, service is quick and friendly in an attractive atmosphere. Union Loafers can get a little pricey for what it is, but you will undoubtedly get a very high quality meal.
