Running Niche is bar none the best running store I've ever been to! I had been loyal to one brand and model of running shoe for nearly a decade but I started to have some plantar faciitis issues and wanted to see what else was out there. Came in while waiting for a table at a restaurant nearby and the folks at Running Niche took a GREAT deal of time and care to fit me into a new pair. In the end, I walked away with a new shoe that I loved even more than the ones I had before and that eventually helped me overcome PF. There's no place else I trust more for running needs (heck, I'd trust them with my kids if I had any) - I've gone back several time and each time they really make you feel like family. I'm really thankful that St. Louis gets to have Bob and Jen as part of its running community!

Every neighborhood deserves shop owners like Jen and Bob! The Running Niche team exudes joy each time I walk in the building. Not only is the team friendly, but they are clearly well trained and so knowledgeable. The store only offers the best quality items and it is clear their inventory is thoughtfully selected by running experts. I have never been disappointed leaving Running Niche!

Wonderful! I was greeted immediately when I entered, a lovely employee helped fit me to the correct type of shoe and size, and I left with a perfect pair of shoes within 20 minutes. I loved the personalized service and friendly workers. Highly recommend.

I was recommended to running niche by a customer at a different shoe store. Even the sales rep that was helping me at that store got interested in running niche just buy the other customers testimonial. So before I decided on a purchase I checked it out. Must apologize, I forgot her name but was greeted by someone that was a bit shorter with red hair a bit curly. Being in sales for many years as well as customer service myself she provided exceptional service! From my personal situation of what I needed a pair of shoes for she spoke to me of the quality of the materials the shoes are made out of for different situations and how my arched foot works best in a shoe. She referred me to the Hoka Challenger which unfortunately they did not have in stock. Was going to inquire at one other store and if I couldn't find it there , I would return and purchase the clifton as a second option that she suggested. Unfortunately I did find the shoe I'm looking for at the other store by definitely wanted to pass on a lot of praise for the level of service.

The Running Niche is truly amazing! The owners Bob and Jen, as well as the rest of the staff, make you feel like family every time you visit. Their knowledge can’t be beat. Today I had a personalized fitting for bras and tried out a couple new brands of shoes that would be great options for me. A recent expansion improves the displays and space to move around while shopping. I am so happy to have found this store and the community of runners that they create. Running Niche has a great selection of products, from running shoes to socks, sports bras to nutrition, including my favorite NA beer!, and knowledgeable, kind salespeople. Matt helped me find a new pair of running shoes, and when they didn't quite work out for me, he patiently helped me find the right shoes. The owners, Bob and Jen, take customer service seriously, and they are nice folks. This mom-and-pop shop earned my loyalty!

I LOVE this running store! Jenn and Bob are super hands on and very knowledgeable. They will make sure you are 100% satisfied. Their prices are super competitive the big box stores as well.

I went into the store and I was greeted by Chelsey. She went above and beyond to help me find shoes that fit well and would be comfortable for work. I will be back for shoes in the future and I will recommend their store to all of my friends or family who need new shoes. I also met the owners who were also extremely helpful and lovely people.

Wow I feel like Cinderella finding her perfect fit. I’ve honestly always had an issue with shoes because my feet are not for one type fits all shoes. But Bob gave the most incredible and informative experience ever. He provided care attention and detail so that I’d find the best shoes for me. I’m so excited to use them!!! Incredible grateful to discover this business.

Go to Running Niche, you won’t regret it. I was visiting St Louis and wanted to find a good shoe store for new work shoes. I work in a dispensary and am on my feet all day for 10 hours a shift. This place was perfect, it totally lives up to the consistent 5 star google reviews. The gentleman there had great advice and set me up with a fresh pair of Hokas that were on sale in the shop before online stores had dropped price. Will definitely shop again and take him up on the offer of free shipping if I need another pair down the line. I’ll be sending other cannabis industry folks his way cause we’re all on our feet way too much!

Best running store! The owners Bob and Jen were so kind and helpful. I love hearing about their efforts to bring the community together through weekly runs and can’t wait to join!

This is hands down the best-running store I've ever been to. The staff is both attentive and highly knowledgeable. Most importantly, they are incredibly kind. I mentioned I had a long run the following day, and they gave me a perfect route. Prices are second to none. This is a must-stop place every time I'm in STL!

My first experience with Running Niche was a few months ago. I was having lunch next door at Union Loafers and they were having a sidewalk sale. I meandered over. Mind you, I am probably 50-60 pounds overweight at this point, going to check out a running shop. Boy, am I glad I did.

Not only did I find Hokas on sale for 50 dollars that day (my father and father-in-law are very grateful), but more importantly, I found a staff that was incredibly welcoming, patient, passionate, and knowledgeable. I've been back a few times since my first visit, both for a shoe fitting for myself (there were no 50 dollar Hokas in my size that day) and to chat with the owner of the store about coaching me/helping me prepare for a half marathon in March 2024. (Bob graciously does this for free by the way.)

All interactions with Bob, Jenny, and their staff have been absolutely wonderful. If I could give them more than 5-stars, I would!!!

There’s nowhere else I have received such professional and hospitable service but here at Running Niche. I’m reminded why going to an actual store is a delight instead of clicking through an online shop. This is definitely now my go-to running shoe store in St. Louis and my favorite in the US so far.

I have never had an experience being fitted for shoes that comes close to Running Niche. They really know their stuff and bring it to your level of use and understanding. Highly recommend them!
So this probably sounds weird, but I didn't want to take these shoes off before going to bed. That's how perfect a fit we're talking. Run, walk, skip, drive, etc. but have your feet take you to the Running Niche. It's what your feet have been asking you to do for them.

10/10 recommend this store! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Jen took her time and helped me find the perfect shoe while making it a fun experience. I will definitely be back to purchase another pair soon.
