Shaw Market

I love this place. I wish St Louis had more markets like this. I grew up in Dallas/Ft Worth and we had places like this everywhere in the area I grew up in. I've never had a bad experience with the people who run this place and it's got things I can't find and things I need that I can't find at the bigger box stores.

Great little corner bodega, owned by a very enthusiastic, happy energy, positive demeanored owner who is welcoming and helpful!

Wonderful people who live in and support the neighborhood. Great selection of wine and craft beer. Most importantly, they have signs that mark very clearly where one should not park! Highly recommend!

Nice selection of local beer and wine. Affordable delicious Eritrean box dinners on Wednesday nights. Wonderful friendly staff who really get to know their customers. A great Shaw neighbor.

The owners run a great store with a wide variety of items. They also make tasty take out Eritrean meals weekly. Whether you're coming in for some chips and lotto ticket, a new propane tank, a bottle of wine, or a pizza you're treated with respect.

This guy made us so happy every single time we visited. When we stopped up 2 minutes after he closed, he opened up for us. This guy is a good man. I miss seeing him. ♥ Always a good friend.

Very friendly staff and nice neighborhood bodega. They had what I needed when I was sick and just needed to walk somewhere in the neighborhood for a few items.

A great little market and sandwich counter that does its best for everyone. It has basic more inexpensive items and an assortment of basic and specialty beers. Deli sandwiches have basic white bread but are made with care. Staff is friendly and helpful.

This is one of my favorite neighborhood stores. The owner and his wife are so sweet and nice. Great people and very loving!

Finished a 16-mile run nearby and was dying for a drink - popped in here and only had a couple of bucks and ended up being a bit shy of the retail price but they could tell I needed the drink and let me have it. Service with a friendly smile on top of that. I'll go out of my way to make Shaw Market my go-to quick stop! Thanks!

Bought a bottle of mezcal and asked where a store was that I could get limes. My sweet Beebee gave a whole bag of limes. And one time he gave me a cbd loosie, idk what else you could ask for from a bitchin' bodega. ❤
