Tequila Comida & Cantina

This was our first time here. We decided to try them out for a late lunch. Everything was delicious 😋 and our server Vincente AKA (PAPI) was top notch and very attentive. He took care of our all needs, and we didn't have to ask for anything before he brought it to us. Thanks Vincente he really takes pride in his work and care for his customers. We will surely return and ask for him by name.. 😎

We just ate at the new Tequila Comida & Cantina location near the Port City Marina. We had the steak tacos and the steak fajitas. Both were delicious. We will be back and looking to sit in Leah’s section because the service was top-notch.

Amazing Ceviche and Chips! Our Waitress Lupe was very attentive and sweet. It was ladies night and once we all got our food she even offered to take our photo! The only downside of this amazing food experience is the regular margaritas seemed like a typical sweet Marg mix and nothing fancy or special. Lupe even noticed some were not enjoying the margaritas and offered to take them off the bill without us even saying anything! We do recommend a skinny margarita instead because then you can taste the house tequila which is really yummy. Thank you Lupe for making our ladies night special!

The margarita was delicious the enchiladas were amazing the the waitresses was so nice she recommended everything I got and tied my straw in a heart. I love this place

I love when I'm plesently surprised. Wonderful service in a relaxed atmosphere where people actually care about your experience. Staff is friendly attentive and engaged. Management is on top of customer satisfaction. The food is better than its price point and beautifully plated. If you're in the Wilmington / Carolina Beach area stop by and see these wonderful folks!!!

We went here for our anniversary and it's was delicious! Servers were great! I had the tamarind margarita and it was so freaking tasty. The food and atmosphere are perfect. Seriously, try this place!

This was my first time dining here, and I was very impressed with the service and friendly staff. Everyone I encountered were very welcoming without being pushy. The food was well plated as well as being delicious. Tequila Cantina has a new patron!

We have eaten at many Mexican restaurants because it is our favorite. This is the BEST we have ever had! It is so clean and the bar is beautiful. The food, absolutely delicious 😋 we had the beef brisket tacos with rice and the BEST EVER black refried beans and the Fajita ACP. We had shots of tequila and the pomegranate margaritas, very good! Great service as well. We will definitely make this our regular spot when visiting here.

This restaurant is worth it! Lots of great options on the menu. Seasoning was very authentic. Everything has plenty of flavor. the tortillas were great! I've eaten a lot of disappointing Mexican food. This place delivers. Not only is the food good but the service was spectacular. Not a single complaint. The servers were attentive and accommodating. You should have a good time at this place.

I personally think they have the best Al Pastor Tacos in town. I come here just about every weekend or Tuesday for Taco Tuesday and they don’t disappoint. Luis is an Amazing manager and all the rest of the staff are always friendly, attentive and helpful. Their mixed drinks are delicious, their salsa is spicy and their tacos are flavorful. Can’t ask for a better combo. They have an outdoor seating and I feel like I’m eating in some part of Mexico because of the beautiful decoration.

My first impression upon entering was, "This place is so clean!" I was the first lunch customer and was given my choice of seating. I sat in a booth near the bar in a smaller area. The service was excellent. Food was on the table in less than 10 minutes. The salsa is one of the best parts of my visit. It's Smokey Chipotleness hugged my tortilla chips. Taco Tuesday didn't disappoint. $2.50 each, street tacos in 5" tortillas. They couldn't have made a better first impression. Can't wait to treat my wife to dinner here next.

I had a great time here I went with a group of friends. Very spacious and great decor. My favorite was the logo on the brick wall lit up very nicely has a very classy look. The food was awesome. I'm always weary about Spanish restaurants when I find a good one I say good things about it. I had the mahi tacos which was pretty good. The rice is really good some places are hit or miss. My wife had the steak chimichanga and my friend had the steak fajitas.

Check this place out. I think you will enjoy the decor, the music, and of course the food.

We had Kaia as our server!! She was not only helpful with understanding the menu, but even on a very busy night still was attentive. The girl training was also very welcoming and helpful along with her! The nachos were a great portion size for us all and the frozen marg was to die for. We will definately be back!

The food is delish! I loved how they incorporated brisket into their dishes. Mole was very good. Added queso to chips & salsa. We had to rush out for a forgotten appt & our server was very efficient at getting us out in a flash. This will be my new go-to Mexican cantina. Love love love this place!

First time eating dinner at this restaurant and must say I was impressed. Not only by the decor, but also how friendly the staff are. I didn't get the name of my waitress, but she remained me of selena for some reason. She was very polite and soft spoken. She recommend to dish I have a picture of. And I must say it was good, but not something I would normally expect from a mexican restaurant. But that's probably because it's a more authentic dish. I will say that the presentation of the food was amazing. The spanish rice was probably the best I've tasted. A had a friend at the table who said it reminded her of her grandmother's rice and she is of spanish decent. So if shes saying its authentic then I guess that must be the case. Overall would recommend due to the overall awesome experience.

Had the best Chile relleno. The waitress was super sweet. Wish it wasn't so far away, it would definitely be my go to place for good Mexican food.

We have had dinner here a couple of weeks ago and were so impressed with the delicious food that we came back to eat lunch outside yesterday. Fist, I’d like to say that the restaurant is clean and inviting. The outside seating offered shade or sun. Second, the staff is super attentive and so happy to provide an enjoyable dining experience. Thank you for that! Third, the food and drinks are incredibly delicious and the presentation outstanding! And last, the price is not painful for all of what I just said! You have a great offering and I want to recommend your restaurant to all my foodie friends. Thank you very much.

My new favorite Mexican place in the area! Sat at the bar and had the house margarita and the tacos Al pastor. Both very good, but what really stood out was how attentive and friendly the staff were! Will definitely be back!
