Few Moves Moving Company

We chose Few Moves based on their flexibility to allow us to personally pack to save some money along with their Military discounts. They delivered all of the packing materials that was very accurate based on our house hold goods. On our moving day, the team lead by Arturo worked extremely hard throughout the day and were very courteous and respectful. Few Moves made our move seamless and was worth every penny.

We can highly recommend Few Moves for local moves. In our case it was a move from Southport to Wilmington, however I am certain their professional and very polite and courteous service would apply to long distance moves as well. Our moving crew prepared and protected the wrapping and taping of all of our furniture pieces effectively and in a very timely manner. We did our own box packaging and they transported all boxes without mishaps. There were a few communication difficulties up front and a delay in the truck arrival, however everything ran supper smoothly from then on out. We are even going to book another move of a few items from Southport to Charlotte, requesting the same crew in the near future because we were so pleased with their service and fair pricing.

This moving company is by far the best moving company I’ve ever used. The management is great, Chris was able to walk me right through everything and answered every question I had, he even told me which movers were going to be coming., we were stressed and scared of moving due to Jack Miracle Movers lied about our quote in the past, lots of things got damaged and Jack never followed up with anything. These guy at FewMoves are the real deal, Michael, Roman, Bryan and Michael were absolutely fantastic. They were friendly and interacted with our kids, took all the stress off our shoulders, there strong, move quick, but very safe. They padded almost all of our furniture and took special care of a couple pieces that I pointed out to them and there were no damages to our furniture or walls.

I used Few Moves to deliver furniture to my house from a local furniture store that didn't offer delivery. The two men they sent were amazing! Everything had to go up two flights of stairs, and they worked tirelessly hauling the old furniture down and the new furniture up. They even took apart the old bed frame and put together the new one. It was a tough job, and they didn't complain once. They were very kind and respectful. I had a great experience with Few Moves and would highly recommend them!

In my experience having hired several moving companies over the past few decades, I must say that Few Moves stands out from all the rest. The plan for packing and moving from NC to MD was clear, precise and met my needs.
Everything played out just as predicted.

The attention from the general manager to the operations supervisor to the team of 5 who did all the heavy lifting was truly above and beyond the call of duty. Each offered a positive attitude, listening to my needs and keeping me level headed during the demanding move and the chaos that was inevitable.

After unpacking in my new home and checking for all my items, I was so pleased to find my personal possessions made the trip. There was nothing lost or seriously damaged. Considering the scope of this project, I am grateful to each and every member of my moving team.

The movers were very professional and respectful. They took so much care with my furniture. Not one thing was broken or scratched. From my experience that is a first. Nicole was very professional on the phone and was able to schedule me at short notice.
The price was beyond fair for the service I received. I gave them all a very big tip for doing such a good job.

Highly recommend. They wrapped all of the furniture before it left the room. Everyone was well mannered. On time and worked fast.
I met Daniel about 7 or 8 years ago when his family owned business moved my Mother into a local senior living facility. When i found out they were no longer in business i was bummed. This is a bit long winded, but if you’re on the fence, please check this out:
I had anxiety over this move for weeks. I got a detailed list of my furniture, etc. and provided it for an estimate. I started remembering I had a few more things and contacted the company to let them know. He told me not to worry. That unless it was an insane amount of extras, the price would be the same.

Fast forward to move day: I had THREE (I was quoted two) movers arrive. They gave me a call about 20-30 minutes out. All three were super professional and just a joy to be around. I mean it when I say I feel like I was surrounded by friends and family. My dog even loved them. In-between them very carefully packing up furniture and boxes, they would lean down and give her love, assuring me each time she was not a bother. I moved from a place on the second floor with VERY narrow halls, to another place with two floors. Not once did I feel uncomfortable or worried about their abilities. They came in and scoped the place out, came up with a game plan, and consulted me with any questions. They arrived with packing materials for my tvs and breakable furniture. Not a single incident with my possessions. I felt beyond comfortable with them handling all of my things. One of the movers even took my bed apart and set it back up at the new place. I had a mounted tv, and they took it down for me. Kept all screws etc in a location near the items that required them. I had a storage unit that I was anxious to even show them. They calmed every bit of anxiety I had, and packed it up carefully. There was a portion of my porch I didn’t have packed. One mover told me not to worry about it, that they would handle it. Within minutes they all were working together to have the box packed. They got up and down the stairs with all furniture with no issues (and I had a ton of large awkward pieces). They got it into the rooms they needed to be. They asked me where things go, and made sure it was in a spot I could easily unpack. No marks on the wall. No marks on the floor. All very quickly. The attention to detail is unparalleled. If I can help it, I will not use anyone else.

Last part:
We all know it’s possible to get hit with surprise bills. I got a call and paid today.. TO THE DIME WHAT THEY QUOTED. I called a ton of movers, and they were on par with the majority of movers. A few were higher than this company price wise. I promise, they will alleviate any anxiety surrounding your move. The movers are extremely hard workings and helpful. I would trust them with my life. I know this seems like a dramatic review, I just know personally how hard it is to find a good company. I hope this review offers you some solace in knowing you’re making the right decision. There were no high pressure sales tactics or over communication(which I did experience with other companies).

You’ll always feel prioritized. You’ll feel like you’re working with family. You’ll know your possessions are SAFE. No surprise bills. I’ve never been around such hard working movers (truthfully people in general) in my life. At the very least, give them a call. You will NOT regret it.

Good communication and expectation-setting. Punctual (even early!). These guys do excellent work. They moved a donated piano into our church. Everything was so smooth, I would hire Few Moves again in a heartbeat.

Kevin worked me into the schedule quickly, and the guys who did the moving were very polite, very easy to work with! They respected my furniture and took great care to keep it safe and unharmed. I am really impressed! Definitely recommend Few Moves!

Excellent experience start to finish. The estimate was prompt and they were able to fit me into a tight schedule. The movers took great care and had to go to multiple sites and we’re flexible throughout the day. They put everything together that I needed for the beds and there’s not a scratch to be found anywhere on the newly painted walls. Thank you very much for everything and I would highly recommend!!

First time hiring movers and we chose full packing services in addition to the move itself and we couldn't be happier with the crew from Few Moves. They were prompt, professional, courteous and friendly. They did a fabulous job and we highly recommend them.

Very impressed by the professionalism, communication and work ethic. They contacted me when stuck in traffic which I understood due to early scheduled move. Once here, they inspected what was to be moved, quickly got to wrapping every piece and loading. The two gentlemen worked as a efficient team without any hiccups. Once loaded & driven over to the destination, they quickly noted what was to go where and moved everything smoothly. They cleaned up as they went and ensured that I was happy with where everything was placed before leaving. They even finished a little earlier than expected.

Update… we have done two more moves with Few Moves. since the original review. Both were excellent. On the most recent move Jeremiah and Robert were polite, fast and efficient!

We used Few Moves last week to move our daughter from Wilmington to Charleston. We have used 5 or 6 movers in the past and Few Moves was by far the best. The two employees, KD and Debo, who were assigned to our move , were careful, courteous and professional. Our furniture survived the move without a single scratch. They quickly assembled/reassembled the dining room table/ chairs, bedroom set and tv stand and removed the boxes before they left. Awesome job! I highly recommend Few Moves for your next move!

The Guys called ahead and arrived on time. They were nice, polite and professional. I appreciate their patience. My keys to my new apartment were not readily available.
