They make great margaritas in regular or double serving size. There is often a wait in the evening. Lunch time mid week is less busy. Parking lot is full but turns over quickly. Service is consistently polite. Clean, busy and fast-moving restaurant. Family friendly. Their chips, queso and salsa are very good. The Burrito Diablo and Burrito Supreme with chicken are our favorites. They are extra large servings and we typically take half of each home. The Fajita Salad is fresh and made beautifully (order extra chicken!). If there are leftovers we order extra Mexican rice to go and enjoy it the next day.

Best of the best!!! Loved our chimichangas, fajitas, and queso. Margarita flight and churros were amazing.

Food was great I got the chicken enchiladas. (Enchiladas Ranchera)it comes woth four fairly decent size enchiladas

This food was amazing. Honestly the best Mexican we have ever had. The service was right on par. If you are in the area and want some Mexican food, there is no other choice. Everything we had was awesome! Even the kids smiley fries had a nice crunch to them. Take my advice, go here, eat a lot, and enjoy yourself! You are welcome!

This is our favorite date night out restaurant. The food is delicious! The chicken fajitas are our go-to order and their guacamole is fantastic. They give you a ton of sauteed veges with the fajitas which I love. I also like how they give each person their own salsa bowl. The atmosphere is so cozy and the booths are clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and professional. We always recommend this spot to friends and family.

I go here at least once a month. I always order the Pollo con crema (or whatever it's called) my favorite(I highly recommend), my mother-in-law ordered the steak fajitas, my oldest daughter ordered the ACP, my son got the cheese enchilada with rice, my youngest daughter got the rice and smiley face fries and my nephew got the chicken tenders with smiley face fries. We also got 2 queso dip's. Everything was delicious! Everything came out in a timely manner! Our waitress was great! We went for my oldest daughter's birthday, so of course they came out with a desert and sang! We had a blast! Great service, great food, great atmosphere! We will definitely visit again!

Arrived on a busy Friday evening. Short wait. Huge draft of negra modelo, El Cerro Enchiladas and Chori-Pollo! Absolutely delicious and affordable! Yummmm!!

First time dining at this hidden gem, but not the last. Quickly greeted and seated, waitress was over within a few minutes to take our order. The food was fresh and hot. My new favorite place to eat fish tacos!!

Picked up take out. Salsa and the queso were a bit on the thin side, even hard to eat with a chip. But service was great and they prepped quickly for a takeout. Worked well as a last minute..bring food to a game night need.

this is what I call a "Speedy Gonzales" type Mexican restaurant, because they all have a lunch special called that. If you've been to one of these types of places, you know exactly what to expect, and they nailed it here. My only complaint is that the food could have come out a little bit more quickly, but it was worth the wait.

We try to eat here every week, it's that GOOD. The staff is superb and remember our order every time. Best queso I've ever had, Carnitas meal is superb, draft beer is always ice cold and margaritas as big as your head. As someone who misses her Latin culture and family very much this place feels a lot little like home. Definitely eat there, take out is good but portions are way different for delivery and you don't get tortillas with most entrees like you do in house.

We ate here this evening for an early dinner and it was amazing! The staff is very nice and was very prompt and professional. All of our food was prepared quickly and was delicious. I highly recommend the special dinner and split it with someone. Also the fried ice cream is wonderful. We will definitely be going back soon.

My family loves El Cerro Grande. The prices are reasonable and the food is always delicious. They have very friendly service and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They have the best margaritas I’ve ever had. Highly recommend.

The food was very delicious. It's worth driving for 15 minutes. My son and I had a very good time at the restaurant. The soup and tacos were great choices. My son finished his plate too. Nice ambiance with a great service. I will definitely go back for authentic Mexican food.

The salsa here is the absolute best I have had from a Mexican restaurant! Enchiladas supremas is usually what I order and it was really good as well. Actually, the food was hotter than what I typically receive at other places! Fantastic place!!

If it's not a busy time you might wonder where the restaurant is and whether they're open, but curb appeal is not what draws the locals. Inside, the pleasing interior and properly curated Latin music welcome guests to the type of authentic Mexican-American experience that tourists only find if they're lucky. Great food? Yes. See pictured fajitas, steak & shrimp platter, and flan for two. Proper queso? Oh, yes. And portioned just right for two people. All the right beers are on tap, and served in a beer mug so massive my usually grumpy Brit is genuinely satisfied. As for the margaritas, let me say that only the experienced drinker is up for the large size. Get a medium (pictured next to my *wallet*) if you have the luxury to leave inebriated. Otherwise, ask for something small. And don't forget we're now adding 5% to our regular tip to help wait staff through Covid.
