This is an eye opening museum full of beautiful murals, fun and interactive displays, and more antiques than you can shake a Jackson fork at. Two giant buildings to explore. The docents are very friendly and really know their stuff. Come by and learn some fun facts about those good oldtimey days of yore.

I highly recommend a visit to the Syracuse Museum. Dean (President) was so accommodating and took our family on an entertaining and informative personal tour. My parent were visiting from out of town and they were so amazed by it all. Our kids really enjoyed it. I’m so glad so much time and resources have been devoted to preserving the history of the area.

Lots of fun for the family! May amusing artifacts from the farming community as well as historical events from the last. There were even interactive parts that our kids enjoyed - milk a cow, lift a bail of hay, tour inside a chicken coup. We really enjoyed our visit!

My wife and I were asked 3 years ago if we had ever talked about volunteering with a civic organization. We did discuss it and started with the Syracuse Museum. The experience has been great and we have learned things about Syracuse and the surrounding areas that we had no idea prior.
If you're considering volunteering, we would love to talk to you and if not it would be great to offer you a free tour of the Museum. Our hours are Tuesday-Friday 2-5

We stayed here for a " harvest host"with our RV. There is a kids water park with pavilions for family use across the street. Restaurants are near by. Museum is very cool and well kept. Don't miss antelope island which is only 7 miles away!

This is a really neat place to visit with friends and family. I went here with my scout troop a while back and we all really enjoyed the experience. The tour guide was funny and we all had a blast. This is definitely somewhere to go when visiting Syracuse.

What a wonderful treasure. We stayed as Harvest Host/Boondockers Welcome over night in the parking lot.
Made it just in time for a private tour with Volunteer Mark. Wonderful experience.
Thank You!

Great museum and interactive for the kids. For Halloween they had actors portraying people from Syracuse's rich past. It was very well done!!!

This time capsule is a little slice of heaven. It is so much fun to go back in time and see how your average everyday Syracusian lived.
