Texas Roadhouse

Great place to take the family. They have great appetizers and great combo meals. We took a big group and they were accommodating. You can call ahead and have them hold a table for the exact number of people you are taking. The service was great and friendly. The birthday song and routine is cool. I recommend the rib eye and shrimp combo with loaded potatoes.

We went here for my father’s early birthday dinner, since we had not come in a while. Everything about this location was great. Our booth was clean and in a nice area, and our waiter was extremely nice and professional. At one point, he let us know when our orders would be out, something that I don’t think I’ve ever encountered at a restaurant before. He got us extra bread and refills without us requesting—I’m sure that’s probably standard procedure here, but it was still great. The food was hot and just as requested, and the wait didn’t take too long. My sirloin was cooked perfectly, which was medium like I asked for. Same with my mother’s, although she gets hers well-done. It was a fun experience, and I’m glad we could celebrate my dad’s birthday in advance and have such a pleasant time.

Rolls: 9/10. This is some of the best free bread I’ve had at a restaurant. It comes out as soon as you sit down and is incredibly warm and soft to the touch. It’s buttery and sweet, and the cinnamon butter goes amazing with it. I love this bread, it was hard to regulate myself. Very fluffy and comforting.

Rattlesnake Bites: 8/10. This is a pretty good appetizer when they’re fresh and hot. When they’re cooled off, the cheese inside becomes thicker and more solidified, which takes away from eating them in terms of texture. However, when warm, the cheese inside has the kick from the jalapeño, a gooey touch, and decadent flavor. The sauce adds to it even more, but it stands strong just by itself.

Cheese Fries: 7/10. Not bad. They’re average steak fries with melted cheese and bacon, they tasted just as expected. I barely ate any of the cheese anyway, and just a few pieces of the typical bacon bits that came with it. Nothing to write home about, although the fries are seasoned quite well, taste good, and are crispy by themselves.

Medium Sirloin: 8/10. Not bad for a steak. It tasted a little dry on the inside, but was cooked as I wanted and didn’t disappoint. It was an average steak that wasn’t very juicy, but hit the spot and was filling nonetheless. Meaty and tender, as a medium-cooked sirloin should be.

Green Beans: 8/10. These are some good green beans for a side at a restaurant. They’re very flavorful and warm, and surprised me with how they actually tasted better than I was expecting. They’re seasoned nicely and are juicy, too, a factor I never considered in how I like my green beans. I don’t even like green beans all that much.

(I also ordered a side of buttered corn, but didn’t have any.)

Update: Friday, lunchtime, right after Christmas. Man, can they move people! We were seated less than 5 minutes after we checked in. Our waitress, Mimi, was suoer attentive! We had our drinks, rolls, and salads within a few minutes of being seated. Did you know they bake them fresh right before you bite into them? Yep! So good. My daughter ordered their reworked pulled pork dinner with their homemade Mac and cheese. I'm a snob when it comes to pulled pork, but this was tender, juicy, and just the right amount of fat. My steak came out medium rare perfection and my mom enjoyed the chicken portobello mushrooms dish. The rolls just kept coming (thank you, Mimi!) and lunch was amazing. Definitely going back again!

Saturday night--only a 30 minute wait for 4. Once seated we immediately were served drinks and offered appetizers. Our salads arrived within 5 minutes of ordering, and we were already enjoying the rolls with the cinnamon honeybutter. The stuffed baked potatoes were loaded with bacon and cheese, the chicken was tender and juicy, and the steak was cooked exactly as we asked. More drinks and rolls were served as we ate, even though it was very busy and a bit loud. I would go again, but probably on a week night when there isn't so much going on.

Absolutely wonderful experience here today. About a 15 minute wait time for a booth. Very friendly staff. Wasn't sure of what to get, so my Server (Carlos) spent a few minutes with me explaining the different steaks. Got the Fort Ribeye with sautéed mushrooms on top, which turned out great!
Got to the end of my meal and asked for the check, and to my surprise I was told one of the waiters/servers had payed for my meal. Very unexpected but a nice and kind surprise.

Me and my husband came in for a date night away from kids and we were lucky enough to get Sean as our waiter. He was hands down the best that we have had here in the many years we have been coming. He checked in on us very frequently and went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed the entire time. We will definitely be back and hope to be helped by him again!!

The wait is forever! Try to call ahead if possible. Waited two hours. Service was great though. Our waiter was really great & very attentive. Went with a group of 6 plus a child. Everyone loved their meals. Ribs were delicious!! Mango margarita was a hit at our table. All their alcoholic drinks are super good. Rolls are the best rolls around!! Loved it. Will be back, but maybe not on a weekend with those wait times.

Hate to say it since the crowds here are out of control already, but I honestly don't think there is a better value restaurant for a rib eye and baked potato. Great food. Good service not great but very good. Definitely will be back next time I am in town. Wish they had this place back home.

Nice rib eye nice price. Loaded baked potato was great. Very busy so service wasn't at the level of the food but understandable for the price point. Will be back!

Can't go wrong with this place. If you do, go ask for Bryce. He was a great waiter. He told us his thoughts on different foods and drinks. He came through for us, and we got great steaks, catfish, and ribs!

Ordered the New York Strip (8 oz) that comes with two sides. The salad was plentiful with a creamy ranch, which was wonderful. Seasoned Steak Fries also tatse great. My steak was cooked medium rare to my liking. In all it was a fabulous meal and under $20 dollars.

Honestly if I could give more stars I would. Our server Ty made it an amazing experience! The food was great, he recommended really great drinks and food. Everything about his performance was awesome. Definitely will return especially if hes the server again!

Sean was our waiter on Dec 20,2023. It was our first time visiting the restaurant in Ogden. They were extremely busy, he was able to keep up on his tables and get the orders correctly. Highly Recommend! We will be returning for the great service that we had.

Texas Roadhouse is a once a month dining destination. We travel approximately 25 miles to get there but the travel is worth it. There is a wait once you're there but again it is worth the wait. Once seated the staff are prompt to attend to our table and you are treated to fresh hot endless baked rolls. Your order is taken and minutes later your meal arrives hot. The quantity and quality of food is superb. You're doing well if you are able to eat the full meal. We often take left overs home. Oh! Did I mention that you can request fresh hot rolls to take home with your left overs? At no charge! I highly recommend Texas Roadhouse for an evening of dinner eating.

I used the kiosk to pay my bill and messed up. I split the check because I had a gift card. After I left I checked my bank account and saw that the numbers weren’t correct and that I hadn’t paid the second part of the bill. I called the restaurant and they were so sweet about it and told me not to worry about the last $10 because a manager had covered it. You guys are amazing, thank you for covering my mistake.

Love this place! We went on a Sunday afternoon and got seated right away. Our server Kim was on top it! She had our drinks always topped off and she even caught a mistake before i even noticed it. I had order chili cheese fries. And when my cheese fries came to the table she told me she had already made sure another order was being made with chili. I would definitely recommend this place.

We have been to Texas Roadhouse a few times and always enjoyed it, but tonight the food was the best we have ever had. The cactus blossom was incredible for an appetizer. You won't regret ordering it if you like onion rings. I ordered the Dallas Filet and it was cooked to a medium perfection and was so tender and flavorful. The rolls were hot and plentiful. The salad was crispy and full of delicious toppings. The baked potato had a salty, crispy skin and was so tasty. My husband ordered ribs and a pulled pork sandwich. He raved about the food and asked our server to compliment the chefs. The server was attentive and fulfilled every request with positivity and perfection. Wow! I can't wait to go again.

We had some of the best service. Our service was above and beyond what you typically see nowadays. Food was good and the atmosphere was great. Perfect family dinning experience

We had Sean as our server and he was FANTASTIC! Even with the rush of the holiday he made time for us and did amazing. Definitely going back!

Food is always fresh, tastes good, & steaks are cooked to order. I think only once the steak wasn't cooked as requested & it was quickly replaced with apolgies. Servers are always attentive & friendly. A manager always checks that the meal & dining experience is going well.
My only complaint is sometimes the music is just way too loud. It's hard to hear yourself think & even more difficult to hear anyone else at the table. I think good food, a pleasant atmosphere, & a lower music volume would be perfect!

This is overall an excellent restaurant. Jayden was an awesome waiter, the food was quite tasty, it was overall a good experience. My only complaint is that alcohol advertisements were omnipresent, everything else was fantastic.
