Chow Thai

We tried Chow Thai for the first time on Saturday afternoon and we really loved it! We are both vegan and tried the Tofu Pad Thai (with no egg) and the Tofu Basil Fried Rice (with no egg).

Both dishes were delicious, as were the complimentary spring rolls. The service was excellent, it took less than 10 minutes for our food to be prepared. Everything tasted extremely fresh, a welcome alternative to the typical take out options in the area!

Great food, great price
I went for lunch with a friend and we each got a lunch sized portion which was very large (I took half of mine home). I had the Pad Thai with tofu. Quite honestly it might be the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had. My friend had the Spicy Vegetables and a California Roll which they also enjoyed thoroughly. I also got a Thai Iced Coffee which was delicious and very fairly priced for the size ($2.99). It’s casual and quaint inside. I highly recommend it!

Excellent freshly cooked foods. Service is great, however, this appears to be primarily a takeout restaurant. Although there are booths for dining in, most of the business is via take out. All sushi / foods are prepared to order.

I got take out from here tonight and the presentation was beautiful and it all tasted fresh and delicious. I got the Monkey Junction roll, Godzilla roll, and tofu pad Thai. If I knew how big the rolls would be I would've only ordered one 😊

Always excellent food that is hot, well prepared, fantastic flavors and choices, and nice portions. The service staff as well as the owner and food preparers/chefs are so friendly. One of my neighborhood favs.

In 34 years, I've never eaten dinner at the same place more than twice in a row. The wife and I had dinner here 4 nights in a row.

We didn't think twice about not changing dinner destinations over fear of being let down. I can't speak highly enough of the quality, quantity, and flavor of the sushi. We would probably come back for a fifth trip if we weren't leaving.

Take out for the first time....got tossed around a bit but was as good as ever.

I go to Chow Thai pretty much weekly and it is one of my favorite places. Delicious food, and amazing staff. Everyone is very friendly. Every experience is a good one. The bang bang chicken is also the best thing ever

The food was amazing and the portions are huge. I got 3 meals out of my one plate! I got the beef pad Thai 😋

The food was absolutely delicious and amazing. The people there are really nice and kind. The place felt warm and welcoming, I'd definitely come back. I highly recommend the bang bang chicken.

First time eating here and we got it to go. We ordered pad Thai, deep sea chicken, beef salad, crab rolls and a bowl of Tom kha. THE FOOD IS AMAZING! All of it. We have not one complaint except us not trying this place sooner. The staff was pleasant and the place is pretty cute. Definitely recommend!!!

Great food. Great service. Reasonable prices. Menu offers a number of options. All were delicious. We had drunken noodles, bang bang shrimp, fried rice, steamed dumplings, and sushi. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Clean! We were passing through but wish we lived closer so we could come back again!

Best Thai food around! We always order delivery, my only complaint is they don't seem to know what extra white sauce is. We would gladly pay extra but it's not an option on the online order. Please add this!!
I always request EXTRA WHITE SAUCE and an $80.00 order we receive two white sauces total, if you need to charge extra for the white sauce we have no problem, just make it as an option to add it!

I had such a good time here for lunch! I'm gluten free (celiac) and our server was extremely kind and knowledgeable about gluten free options. There were a lot of gluten free options to choose from (just make sure you tell them so they use gluten free soy sauce, etc.).

We got the red curry and Philadelphia sushi. The curry was pretty delicious and not too spicy, and my Philly roll was good and came with 8 large pieces. I also tried the Thai tea and it was a large, delicious citrus-like tea with a sweet cream on top (not sure if I described that well).

Delicious and authentic thai food!! Must try place in Wilmington!! The portion sizes are also good enough (some of us couldn’t finish it all😅). We tried the thai spice chicken, drunken noodles and basil fried rice!! Freshly cooked and served hot!! And complimentary spring rolls too!!! Do try to add in the chilli paste or super hot chilli powder if you like it spicy!!! Be careful with how much you add!!

If you truly like/love “Thai food” ….. then you will absolutely love this place. Everything on the menu is DELICIOUS!!!!! Anyone who would dare leave a bad review for this Thai restaurant……. Must have thought they were going into a cheap Chinese takeout!!!!!! This is THAI FOOD, ……. and it’s awesome. Sushi!!!!!! Totally awesome!!!! Service is fantastic, hospitality is phenomenal……. And did I say, “THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS “. The prices are the best in town. Forget about that overpriced place on “Market St.”. Try something new, get the bang for your buck. I took this picture. It was my lunch on this particular day. Ninja sushi roll, salad with ginger dressing, and Thai tea. Just looking at the picture……. Makes me hungry.

I popped in here with a friend, and the food was delicious 😋. They have good vegetarian and vegan options. My only complaint is that they don't have the option of brown rice, which will keep it from being one of my go-to restaurants. What they did have was very yummy!

This place is awesome! The staff is so friendly, welcoming and always remembers my order when I go in. I’ve tried a few things and it has all been delicious. But I’m addicted to their orange chicken, so if you go and they don’t have any-it might be my fault, so sorry in advance! It is so good I always get two servings so that I have leftovers. Want to note that Tara, Kat and Allison are each fantastic and I’m always happy to see their smiling faces even though the masks make it more like smiling eyes! Love this place and the staff is excellent!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Our family's favorite place for sure. The best sushi Wilmington has to offer! This is our celebration spot for all things!

This really is one of my favorite restaurants! I ordered the cucumber roll and the chicken Pad See U at a spice level 3 and it was amazing. I was also pleased to find out that almost all the dishes can be made VEGAN! Perfect for my vegan friend who is now also a huge fan of this restaurant! If you haven't tried this place yet, you're missing out.

I introduced my friend to Thai food & he was blown away. The food was delicious & the portions were amazing. We both took home leftovers & had them for dinner. We went back again this week & he wants to go back every week & try all the entrees, appetizers & soups. The Thai tea is fabulous. Highly recommended by both of us. 💚
