Sara, Eric and Meredith at Progressive physical therapy are the best. They all make you feel like family and have fun at the same time. If you need a good physical therapist go see Sara aka (Little Ninja) and Eric aka ( The angel, really the Sargeant). They will definitely get you where you need to be. They are very compassionate about their work. So if you need a great therapist go to them. They are the best all around.

I have throughly enjoyed working with Eric for my balance. He has really helped me. I am not so shaky and wobbly. I am so grateful for his patience and expertise. All of the staff are so nice and accommodating. I truly enjoy going to my classes. I would recommend my relatives and friends to this Dorchester Road facility. I give it an A+

I had been reluctant to try PT on my knee issue and did not know which office to go to for treatment. Progressive PT on Dorchester Road was my choice and I have been pleased with my decision. Meredith at the front desk, was very welcoming & accommodating when I made my appointment. The therapists, Alex & Sara are very professional & personable and make me feel comfortable during my treatment. They are so compassionate & caring to everyone who enters. Awesome staffs! The moment I entered, I was greeted by Meredith and the rest of the staffs. Everyone was very knowledgeable and professional, and will go out of their way to help every patients. Tom is the MVP, he took his time explaining the steps and procedures for each exercise. As well as giving tips and advices on things to do and not to do. Overall, it was great experience and I highly recommended here.

Very relaxing and professional atmosphere Tom and Sara make you feel so comfortable and relaxed and taken care of in all their endeavors to heal you. They care about not only you but your recovery. They remember what’s going on in your life and joke and laugh with you. It’s starts my day on a better note every time. Would recommend to everyone whom needed therapy. I have received physical therapy at this location for several issues since August. Darren and Sara (and a few substitute therapists) were very knowledgeable in applying various treatment methods to address my needs. They also taught me a variety of stretches and exercises to use on my own. Due to my work schedule, I generally had to have the last appointment time of the day. The office assistant, Kelsey, was always so welcoming and helpful. They all showed great patience with me as I’d hurry in for my appointment. Along with the physical therapy, though, they truly made me feel cared for. I am very grateful for the impactful treatments and the compassionate care I received. I highly recommend this location to anyone who is in need of physical therapy.

I had my left shoulder operated on about 12 maybe 15 years ago and Sarah help me tremendously through my recovery. The doctor said I would never regain my full motion because my shoulder was so bad. After working with Sarah I was well over 100% and have absolutely no pain in my left shoulder. The 11th of April of this year I had my right shoulder worked on because I was having so much pain. My doctor asked if he could send me to another physical therapist and I immediately said no that I wanted to go back to progressive physical therapy and work with Sarah and Tom. Since my surgery and working with Tom and Sarah three times a week I cannot believe the mobility that I have in my right shoulder. And I know when Sarah and Tom get done with me I'll be back at 100% Plus. I highly recommend anybody with pains in their joints to make an appointment. They will feel much better. Thanks again for everything you guys have done for me and continue working with me.

I have had pain in my lower left back area for a couple of years limiting my physical activities and decided I needed help. I visited Progressive Physical Therapy on Dorchester Rd. After observing and working on me for a little while Tom N. quickly and accurately diagnosed my problem.
Tom N. and I worked for several weeks making steady progress in relieving my back pain. Now I can easily and enjoyably resume my normal physical activities. I will schedule a couple of follow up visits.
Tom is very knowledgeable, patient and considerate. He knows what he is doing and does it well. He enjoys his job of helping others.
The entire staff is great and easy to work with.

February 28th 2023 is When I started my first physical therapy at Progressive and I was dealing with knee pain for a long time. And from that day till now I can truly say.Ive seen some improvement working with Eric and Sara now I'm walking down the stairs forward instead of side ways. And thank you again.

My first ever experience at a PT office wasn’t the best so my first time visiting progressive PT I wasn’t sure what to expect and what a pleasure it has been! From start to finish Tom Nadeau and Sara Higgs have done such a magnificent job making me feel comfortable and heard. They’ve listened to ever concern and always made sure I left feeling better then when I came in. Iv been dealing with chronic back pain for as long as I can remember and I’ve finally been able to get some much needed relief. I’m sad I’m finished but couldn’t have asked for better experience!! Thank you all at Progressive Physical Therapy so much for all you have done for me!!! 10/10 highly recommended!

I have had 4 spinal surgeries in the past 8 years. I’ve went to numerous physical therapy places during this 8 year period. Darren my PT has a plan that has stretching, exercise and a lot of soft tissue work that has provide the best therapy I’ve ever had! My quality of life has improved far more than what I expected. As a disabled veteran I have been through physical therapy a number of times over the years for various reasons. Darren and Sara are by far the most knowledgeable, caring and professional team I have had the pleasure of working with! Darren always takes the extra time to explain the "why" and "what" each exercise is intended to address. The Admin Manager Kelsey was very professional and friendly from the first call and has been very helpful in keeping me well informed and organized with all of my required appointments. I feel very fortunate to have such a great team of experts managing my care! I highly recommend Progressive Physical Therapy of Summerville to anyone who wants top notch care with a personal touch!

On the recommendation of my pain doctor, I had been treated at Progressive 2x previously, after injections in my back and neck, so it was a no-brainer that I would return there following rotator cuff surgery. Darren and Sarah are not only gifted therapists, they are so much fun to be around! They push me further than I think I can go but are sensitive to my pain level on any given day. The clinic itself is small so the attention is truly individual and non-threatening. Kelsey at the front desk is welcoming and cheerful and I really appreciate getting appointment reminders by text on my phone. I’m on Medicare with a supplemental insurance plan and the billing process has been seamless. I’m impressed with how well Darren works with high school athletes as well as us older folks and Sarah’s massages at the end of treatment are wonderful. I’ve been to other PT clinics but Progressive has made the tough work of rehabilitation more pleasant than I ever hoped for. I highly recommend!
