Veterans Memorial Park

Great park and very spacious. I take my dog here often and he loves to play with the other dogs and jump in the water. The pool is busy on a hot summer day, and they have tennis courts.

Beautiful park in Cedar park area with its history, picnic area, benches, playgrounds and “playground” with lake for dogs, the cutest thing ever I haven’t seen before! Nice place.

A really nice park to hang out with friends. Beautiful trails with a nice wide gravel road, a small public pool (does cost money), a playground for kids, a large family friendly dog park (with a pond), a large field to the left of tjw park, pickleball/basketball courts and a palazzo with bathrooms and picnic tables to eat.

Great place to be.

Beautiful Monuments dedicated to the fallen soldiers.

There's also a trail around this park that leads to New Hope street and the neighborhoodsnearby, and also cement walkways throughout.

There's also a tiny community garden for members.

There's a paid subscription pool here thats rarely open on certain days of the week.

A small exercise area for adults. (Pull up bars, dip bars, etc)

Parking never seems to fill up, even on weekends.

Many trees and brush throughout.

The veteran’s walkway is beautiful! What a way to honor our vets everyday! I mostly visit for the Bark Park with my Mia. She enjoys her visits as well!

Our dog found his doppelganger! Boths black German Shepherds, our on left 5 months, theirs 6 months. Very nice people and rarely any dog issues. I mean we've never had a bad experience but I'm sure it happens from time to time.

The dog park is great. they have 3 sections. one for small dogs upto 30lbs, one for large dogs and one for large and small doge with I pond for the dogs to swim. plenty of trees for shade and banksto sit on. they also have water for the dogs as well as two wash stations to clean your puppy before you go home.

This pool is great. It’s very affordable and the kids love the slides. There is not very much covered area/shade. If you have your own canopy or umbrella, that’s the way to go. It’s always clean and we’ve enjoyed every visit!

The pickleball courts are fantastic! Oh, wait. No, they're terrible. Go somewhere else. Leave these to me and my friends. 😁

They have a big dog park and fenced in areas for small and large breeds. There's fresh water fountains on both sides for the larger and small did at each part.theres also bathing stations to bath and comb your dog. It's full of fun entrainment walking trails great pool area for the summer . Plenty of picnic space with large casipo tennis and basketball courts .

Played pickleball. Was able to get a court and picked up a few games with another couple. Courts in great shape

As someone who has lost a family member who was serving on active duty I greatly appreciate all that was done to built (and maintain) the park and the memorial to those who served. I strongly recommend anyone visit and enjoy the park. I humbly request that you reflect on THOSE WHO GAVE ALL and those that served so we can enjoy the blessings of freedom given to us by their sacrifice.

Big nice place. Its great to know I can take Jake here and he can do and walk where he please. Most dog are very friendly. This place also let's you learn alot about your pet plenty of sitting space or you can walk around. It's also nice meeting so many dog lovers.

I love this park, beautiful dog park, active community garden, pool, playgrounds, and a sacred place. As a gold star family member, it's a honor to visit.

A place to reflect and pay respect to the U.S. Armed Forces and those soldiers, airmen, sailors, and marines that didn't make it home alive, as well as their loved ones. It's a beautiful display with statues representing our military over the past century.

Best dog park in the Austin metro area. Has separate sections for large-medium and small dogs. The medium-large dog area has a small lake/pond with a pier that the dogs can jump off of. Both sections have some easy to climb trees for the climber dogs looking for squirrels. My little ones climbed right up... but found no squirrels, nor any nuts to snack on. They prefer the trees, squirrels, and nuts than the water. Careful though, as they can easily jump out of the fenced area once they are up in the trees. There was also a mixed sizes section but it was under renovation. As well as dog bathing areas so that you can bath your dog, and bathrooms available if u really need it. Dog bags provided as well as plenty of tennis balls to throw/play with.
