Gabatoni's Restaurant

So, so yummy!!! Best mozzarella sticks my hubby and I have ever had!! We just got our food and tried it and already want more!

The seating area isn't opened as of yet. However, you can still order and pick up. The staff are always friendly.

While visiting Springfield my boyfriend and I decided to try Gabatoni’s. Absolutely delicious! Our order was correct and the man who gave us our pizza was super friendly. Nice thin crust, good amount of toppings. We nearly finished our 16 inch pizza between the two of us! If we ever come back to Springfield we would go back here! So good!!!

Haven't gotten a Pizza from here in a few years, it was just as good as it has been for years. I've been ordering pizza's from here sense I was old enough to order a pizza.

One of my favorite places to visit in Springfield. It is so well maintained and the waiters are so friendly. The food is great for the price and tastes amazing. I have been there a couples of times and love the garlic bread, pizza, etc.

Was in town for flat track races looked at revues on my phone and saw a few post about having to Waite so I figured that must be good if everyone get one so I waited and glad I did it was very good !!!

For starters, I visit Springfield, Illinois quite often to see my relatives. With that said, I always have a laundry list of restaurants I MUST eat at. Gabatoni’s is at the top of that list. I am an advocate for thin and crispy pizza, I must say Gabatoni’s has perfected thin crust pizza. The crust is thin and snappy, giving a nice flakey base for a plethora of fresh ingredients such as sausage, green peppers, onions, as well as a supreme pizza. I usually take the pizza to-go, every time I pick up my order the restaurant is packed, service is swift and friendly, as well as other food includes amazing chicken wings and authentic Italian dishes. I recommend Gabatoni’s for any and all types of occasions.

One of the "must go to" places every time I get to Springfield. This place is a local treasure that's been there for more than 60 years now. The food is wonderful and the staff is great! You just can't go wrong.
I do suggest reservations, they're busy... Buon Appetito!

Not a bad pizza place. Only delivery or pickup. Thin crust was a little chewy and could have been cooked longer. Sauce was traditional with a little spice. Nothing really stood out as different than other local pizza places around our area. Breadsticks were big and had a lot of Parmesan cheese and butter on them. The marinara sauce was excellent.

Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! My friend and I make 3 hour pilgrimage’s from DeKalb just to get this stuff!

I ordered a Medium Special with Sausage, Onions, Mushrooms and Green Peppers. It was covered from edge to edge with a coating of very tasty pizza sauce, a generous amount of toppings, and a good layer of cheese to make it a great pizza. The crust was thin but still pliable and very tasty.

Yummy PIZZA! It's made like it's always been made...the right way! However my son worked there about a year ago and they treated him and the rest of the staff HORRIBLY. It was a VERY hot August on think hottest in history., because the actual Restraunt part wasn’t open they refused to run the AIR-CONDITIONING!! Haven’t been back sense. The stalk deserves better.

First off, the pizza is absolutely delicious! The best thin crust I've ever had! The staff is so warm and friendly ❤ it was my birthday and they gave me cake AND sang happy birthday to me!!!! They made me feel really special and welcomed like one big family! Definitely will come back again and again❤❤❤

I had a personal pizza and it was the perfect size. My date had a Patty melt and it was huge! It comes with chips, but I got regular fries. The place was full but not crowded. The food came out in less than 30 min and it was a party of 8. 5 people in my party had personal pizzas. Our server was prompt and very attentive! If ever I visit again will definitely return. Thank you

Hands down my favorite pizza in town! This place is a local gem, the staff are so friendly and always make you feel welcome and appreciated. I always get pepperoni pizza, I'm basic like that, but I love it. Pretty much any day of the week a reservation is helpful, but if you don't have one they'll try to get you in as quickly as they can.

I have lived in the area for years but never visited here due to the reputation of the area. It's on the edge of a bad part of town. We finally tried it due to our favorite pizza place going down hill, due to an owner change. This is now one of my favorites. It looks scary on the outside, due to the bars on the doors, but is really cozy on the inside. The staff was friendly, both times I visited, and the food is really good!

Visiting Springfield from out of town, we decided to try a local pizza place and get it to-go to take back to our hotel. The thin crust pizza here was pretty good. Had great flavor and didn't disappoint. The restaurant is a nice cozy place with a good eating area and bar. Service was very friendly. Next time we are in town we definitely will do dine-in. Old hometown pizza and pasta parlor. The thin crust pizza is the best around! A little dark inside and the tables are close because of the size of the dining room, but it's worth the minor things.

Did a search for Best Lunch Place in Springfield, IL. This place was listed. Decided to try it, and it was so good! The staff was super friendly and interacted with us, not just asking us what we want to eat.

The pizza was fabulous. We got a medium sausage, pepperoni, an onion. The sausage was quite tasty. We saved our pizza because our appetizer was more than enough. We got the sampler with mushrooms, onion rings, and cheese sticks. I absolutely loved the onion rings. The batter on them was really good.

Plan on going back again!
