Always fresh and tasty. Only real place around here to get this kind of pizza. Toppings are great, wings are good as well as the pastas. Love how much variety of pizzas there is. Pick up time is usually about 40-45mins so order accordingly.

While mourning the death of my Amazing Aunt 👁 decided to take the 🚆 and 🪰 to 🔮 💧. Having never been this way on the 🚆 I decided to go to the 1st pillars of the community. Where I was greeted by An 😇 who assured me that Amore was a great choice. Omar tossed one speckle pizza 🍕 Margherita 🥧 and ohh my was it delicioso. A must visit while ✈.

Stopped in for a slice with my wife, this is true ny style pizza. Tastes amazing and the service was great! We will be back for sure. Thanks!

Absolutely loved the marinara with mozz sticks. Old school taste! I’m not a big fan of NY style pizza. That’s Amore was pretty tasty. Very friendly and polite staff. Made my family and of course myself very comfortable. Get place for family pizza night, maybe a date or just grabbing pizza for yourself. Sorry about the empty tray. Mozzarella sticks where so damn good they didn’t mKe the picture.

We’ve ordered from here many times, they had a new delivery driver come and missed out on our appetizer, when I called they were kind and offered to adjust the mistake. They provided a dessert as an extra too. I appreciate the customer service and would definitely recommend. Bbq chicken pizza is delicious!

I had visited on their first day of operations since they had closed following a kitchen fire on May of this year (I actually got a slice that day before things had gone downhill). This place makes great pies, and it really serves as a good quick service location for downtown CL.

As much as I like scouting pizzerias (something I did during the period of their closure), That's Amore has a unique pie which really fulfills a special niche as far as pizzerias are in the region. I do have my other picks in case I am more in the mood for crispy tavern style thin crust, and some locales I could stop in just in case I am in town, but not a lot of locations in that latter list carry a distinction to where I would divert from my route just to have a pizza from that location.

That's Amore Pizza's slices have a crust that is soft and puffy rather than crispy - though really, this is one thing that serves in its benefit. The sauce has a very rich texture going for it - just the right balance of saltiness and sweetness which compliments the airy crust. Cheese is not overdone and spread out evenly - doesn't collapse in on itself like some other locations end up doing, and the toppings make their presence known.

At an earlier time, they used to provide garlic knots aside their slices, but they were not serving them in this time. I will give them a slide for now.

I won't judge on whether this is authentic NY style pizza because I have never had a pizza in NY, but ultimately I am glad that this place has resumed operations. Downtown CL is blessed to have you guys.

Stoked I finally had the perfect excuse to order from That's Amore Pizza. Solid NYC style pizza. Simple, not greasy, fresh ingredients. Friendly service. Happy family.

We love That's Amore pizza. We have been ordering for years and have literally never had a bad pizza. We just recently discovered their Cheesy Garlic pizza bread and it's delicious. One thing I wish is that they opened earlier than 4 as I would be able to order more on my way home from work. Right now it's reserved for days I work late.

This is not generic pizza, it has a small joint feel and it's own delicious flavor. Highly recommended and worth a try if you haven't had it yet.

Classic NYC Pizza (I would know I was born and raised in NYC till age 21. Delicious! The garlic knots are nothing to write home about but they’re free so who cares!

When we have business in Crystal Lake, we try to plan things so we can have That's Amore pizza for dinner.

The staff is always friendly and ready to take your order.

We took the grandkids here a couple times. Now when they are over, they ask if we can go there for Pizza.

Stop by and give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

A great place for a NY style pizza. My son and I have gone here for years. You can get just a slice and they heat it up for you just like a NY pizzeria. If you do get a pizza, order the large. If there are any leftovers, the second day reheated pizza is just the best.

And... if you like toppings, just choose 3 or less, don't overwhelm the pizza. Personally, I prefer the cheese or just pepperoni, but that is just me.

I also order takeout here and it's a favorite amongst my family and girlfriend. I would highly recommend anyone try the pizza here as it's seriously amazing.

I had a good NY pizza near by which I said was the best NY style around but these guys are The Best NY pizza I’ve tried in IL. Looking forward to try other things they do. Give it a try. Definitely recommend. Hey guys one thing, no deliveries over 5 miles is bad, I am 5.8 miles a way and this shouldn’t be a deal breaker……. Fix it!!!!

Best real NY style pizza around. The sauce is nicely balanced, not too sweet, they use real mozzarella, and the crust is the perfect balance of crispy and chewy. PM

Service can sometimes be a bit choppy, but that's the same of any pizza place. Comes with the territory of hiring teenagers who are usually working their first job.

But, any issues are always dealt with nicely and I'd recommend this place to everyone who wants some NY style pizza.

Yes, it's New York pizza in Chicagoland, but so nice to have something different once in a while.. if I ever do make it to NY I sure hope their pizza tastes like That's Amore!!

We've lived in Chicago (suburbs) for almost a decade, but we aren't fans of Chicago style pizza.

We've been searching for an excellent NY style pizza place for the past 8 years, and we finally found it with That's Amore!

Even though it's 15 miles away, we choose to drive here instead of closer places, because it's that good. If you're a fan of good pizza in general, but particularly NY style, you won't be disappointed.
