Liz and Tom worked with us to transform our 1970's fireplace. I gave them a picture as an example of what we wanted to do and the end result was exactly as pictured. Their craftmanship was top notch and we couldn't be happier. I would definitely recommend Fireplace & Patio to anyone looking to install or update a fireplace.

Purchased a gas fireplace from Tom and Liz. Both well educated with the products they sell and were very friendly. I had spent many hours researching and visiting other fireplace stores but once I came across fireplace and patio I knew these were the people to buy from. Liz listened to my questions/concerns and answered honestly without the pushy sales pitch. I see a lot of negative reviews about communication with them, my recommendation...email! Every email I had sent was responded back to in a timely manner. We love our new fireplace. Thanks again Tom and Liz!

I am very happy with their work, knowledge and product. I bought a gas fireplace and they removed the old franklin stove and installed new chimney pipe. They were responsive, clean and attentive. They do beautiful work and are knowledgable about the products. I would happily recommend their work.

The people at Fireplace and Patio 1 are very nice and based on over 20 years in business quite knowledgeable in the fireplace business. Their showroom includes many different types of displays.

Went in on a Wednesday and bought a mantle and glass doors, installed on Saturday. Courteous and professional.

So we bought a wood and gas insert for our home. The gas one still smells like gas- even after being serviced, the wood - after having the chimney insert tube and new cap -came loose, and this was the repair- I have bricks on top of my fireplace’s chimney.. hoping for no storms that knock this off and damage roof/gutters etc until I can get a 32ft ladder to take a look hoping that these bricks were not their “repairs” for the stack/tube being looose.

Very disappointed in this company. We made an appointment for them to come out to fix our fireplace and give us an estimate for a second job a few weeks ago. They never showed up for the scheduled appointment and have been ghosting us ever since. We were hoping to be able to use our fireplace this year so we would appreciate any other recommendations as apparently this company does not want the business.

Go someplace else!! We hired them to replace our wood burning fireplace with a gas insert. At first, everything was great, very helpful, we picked out a beautiful insert(which owner assured us would fit our fireplace) and awaited word on delivery/installed. Started calling when we had not heard from them but calls not returned. Even going to the store was a waste of time because never there at posted store hours. We gave them benefit of the doubt because it is a small business. Finally, they could install insert(it was getting cold outside and really wanted to use fireplace) Wait, insert is just plain insert, not the one we ordered. Owner explains that original insert would not fit our fireplace. WHAT?!?!?! He apologized but I had my doubts about excuse. I really believe they never ordered our insert and what we got was one he had at the store. We wanted this done so we said go ahead. Insert installed now go ahead and use fireplace. WRONG!!! Noticed next day it was really cold in room(noticed it the day before but figured it was with doors open, installation and such) Went over to fireplace and felt cold air coming out around insert. Called owner to get him to reseal/insulate around insert. Again, no return of phone calls. Had to put blanket/pillows in front of fireplace to stop cold air. Finally, owner calls and says there is no cold air - hmmmm yeah there is come over now and fix it. Finally comes over and again apologizes, says he mistakenly forgot to seal it properly the first time. Now I get to enjoy fireplace. Turn it on and notice a hazy film on glass. Again, called and called owner and he says it is normal, will burn off after use. Nope, never burned off, in fact had burned the haze right onto the glass! Only way to fix problem was to replace glass. Again, owner never returned my calls and the place was gone when I went to address listed. Found out later they had move to another location with similar name on Route 176. Bottom line: shear frustration to work with this owner! I know we gave him too many chances so don't make our mistake find another store just not the one on Route 176.

No one was there. Waited a half hour after the sign said they would be back. No one showed. Called no one answered.
