Lakeview Grille

Went to Lakeview Grille in Yorkville for husbands birthday dinner. Absolutely the best steak we’ve had and everything was wonderful! We had the scallops appetizer and that was sooo good too!
I have been told the Old Fashioned drink was something to try. We loved it! Our server was absolutely prompt and we had such a great time! Will be one of our date night choices for sure!!

Really reasonable prices. Laid back atmosphere. Fantastic service. All the food was fresh and cooked perfectly.

We were here for my husband’s birthday. This lunch totally made his day Great. Very highly recommend this restaurant. We had a beautiful room all to ourselves with the water view we had requested. The food was of course unbelievably fresh, delicious and plentiful and the staff were beyond warm and friendly. They even brought us a free dessert. Jen’s walnut salad was just too good and the fresh baked bread was stunning. All in all come here for your special occasion and more and you’ll be happy you did!!!!

Absolutely LOVED our server. She was fantastic, and darn if I have forgotten her name, so. We had spinach/artichoke fondue for appetizer, 1 filet 1 rib eye. She will remember us as the lady visiting from iowa. Lol. A Sunday dinner ,relaxing meal, steaks done to a perfect medium. A minor thought fondue was a little " bland" IMO, but each to their own. Not a biggie, but seriously, wish I could remember our servers name as I'd hope to have her again when return to eat there again. And to refer her to others to request as their server.

Came here on a Sunday night, had Maddy as our waitress. Maddy was phenomenal! She provided excellent service, was friendly and gave great recommendations. All of our food came out great from the appetizers to the main course. Only disappointment of the dinner was they were out of the pear sangria. Can’t wait to come back!

Came here for lunch today. Easter sunday! We had a reservation booked and were seated straight away. I ordered the grilled salmon and it was cooked nicely, the soup was nice and creamy. All our food came out quick even with it being quite busy. Our waitress was nice and also taught us to hit the 95 sticker on the ketchup for it come out. Over all was a good experience and will come back again, thanks for the great experience!

I really liked the fried zucchini. I had the avocado burger as it was really good. I also really liked the fries. My friends also enjoyed their meals 🤩🥳🥳
Oh and if you guys need change for tips they even have a change machine by the bathrooms and the waitress are very nice. 👍

Really enjoyed just about everything. Great for price! Apps were very good, wedge was very good. Steak was cooked properly and was a nice cut. Onions in French Onion should be cut thinner but soup was still good. Deserts were also very good. Service was excellent.

Wife & I visited 2 nights ago for the first time & were pleasantly surprised. My filet was perfect & so was her ribeye. Our waiter Ken was on top of everything despite it being VERY busy. He did a great job! We had to park down the street because they don't have enough parking spots & it was a little loud because they have a lot of tables sitting very close to each other, but I'd still give 5 stars & come back again (soon).

Great place...not clearly seen from the street. Hidden but definately worth the hunt to find. Service was friendly and efficient. The decor inside and out are elegant and pleasant. Great bar to sit at seperate from the restaurant. The view out the back window may easily explain why the building is set back where it was chosen to be placed. A beautiful view of a very large pond makes this very comforting. The food was excellent served perfectly as ordered. The menu is full of many choices and prices are reasonable. I would recommend everyone to scout this place out and give it a try

Seems like since the new owners came in, the quality has gone down a little. Dont get me wrong, it's still one of the best places to eat in Yorkville. I just feel the quality of the steak wasn't what it used to be. The chef cooked it so perfectly, though. I know times are tough, but when im paying $40ish for a ribeye, i expect it to be a better cut. And the side of the loaded mashed potatoes, really seemed like it was Applebee's quality. Great wine, atmosphere and staff.

Delicious steak! I had the steak salad and it was perfect! Same goes for the peach mango sangria! Yum!!! I've only been here a few times but every time has been A+!

My hubby and I went here for a Sunday lunch date and we will definitely be back! We mentioned to the hostess that it was our first visit and the manager came out to greet us. We asked about seating on the patio and were so glad we did! Beautiful setting and had it all to ourselves! The menu was amazing and we both enjoyed the bruschetta and fresh bread. We each ordered different entrees ~ both very filling and satisfying.

Everything was good or excellent. Would definitely go back. Especially ❤ the key lime pie and brownie sundae. Our server Curtis was (Johnny on the spot). Good man!

Had one of the best restaurant experiences ever! Celebrated hubby’s 75th birthday, we were a party of 8. We were seated by the window overlooking the pond, service was exemplary and the food was outstanding at reasonable prices.
Highly recommend this restaurant!!

I've been dining here a few times a year since 2017. The staff are friendly and the food and service are great. Parking can be a real challenge during the restaurant's busiest times and the wait is sometimes long but worth it. Plenty of shopping options nearby to pass the time.
