Are you scared of the dentist? So am I, but I decided to come in for a long due cleaning.

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and I felt no judgement when I told them the truth about my dental routine. Once they realized how stressful even a cleaning is for me, they worked quickly checking in frequently to make sure I'm doing ok. :)

Super friendly staff all around who always make you feel welcomed! Any time I have any questions their answers are always helpful and they take their time with clients so it doesn't feel rushed.

These professionals are so pleasant to be around and work with. I need quite a bit of long overdue dental attention. And let me tell you. The staff are not only great at their job. But also the sweetest people on this planet. I highly recommend this establishment!!

After over 25 years with Dr. Tim Sullivan I was somewhat leery about moving to any new dentist after that many years. But I trusted Tim's choices and the introduction letter he wrote supporting Dr. Afsheen Ommar. Well it turns out I have been over the top pleased with Dr. Ommar's whole practice. From reception to the dental hygienist the operation is first class.

And Dr. Ommar is a very skilled dentist as I found out. After only one cleaning she had to be put to the test as I broke my 3 front teeth and this had to be replaced with two implants attached by a bridge. Dr. Ommar suggested we do a team approach with oral surgeons Lehman and Menis. Dr. Ommar reassured me all thru the process that she was committed to taking an appropriate amount of time and the job would not be complete until I was 100% satisfied. Well I have my new dental work now complete and I could not be happier.

Bottom line if your looking to develop a long term relationship with a professional dental organization I would highly recommend Smile Village.

I had a crippling fear of dentist from a bad past experience as a child. I hadn't been to a dentist for many years until a very old crown cracked that needed to be fixed. Dr. Omar and her team acknowledged my fear and reassured me that they would do everything possible to make me comfortable and they did.

The tone of the office is very calm and relaxing. As Dr. Omar did my exam and subsequently replaced the old crown she consistently asked if I was experiencing any pain. Never had a drop of discomfort or pain.. I was surprised to get a call from Dr. Omar the day after the temporary crown was put on. Dr. Omar just wanted to make sure everything was okay. How often does that happen. it speaks to her genuine concern for her patients.

Dr. Omar can use me as a reference anytime. I am so thrilled I found a dentist that I am not afraid of and that does outstanding work. Believe it or not I now look forward to going to the dentist.

As it turns out I learned a neighbor a few doors down from me also sees Dr. Omar and LOVES her as well.

We are very fortunate to have such a fine dentist in Crystal Lake.

Long time patient of the Dentist that sold his business to Smile Village. Was concerned just because I was comfortable with the my previous dentist. After one visit to Smile Village, all worries vanished. This group is a class act and has morphed the building to the modern age. New equipment and new procedures. The team is extremely professional, accommodating, gentle, fun, and caring. Good music is pumped through the office and rooms. It’s like walking into a spa.
Don’t kid yourself looking at the old small ranch home look. Smile Village is fantastic. It may not be a big fancy brick luxury office. It’s the honest care and treatment you get inside that is where it’s at. Thank you Smile Village! And sorry I almost fell asleep in the chair. It’s actually relaxing going in for a cleaning!

Dr. Ommar was so kind to see my Mother In Law right away as she was having severe pain. The staff was equally accommodating. The clinic was very clean and beautiful. They are taking all the precautions for Covid with staff wearing masks and hand sanitizers everywhere. I was so impressed that I booked appointment for my kids and myself. Dr Sullivan is very personable making every patient feel comfortable and explaining what and why of his chair procedures. He is so competent and thorough in his work and keeps up on what is new. He goes out of his way to make the dental experience a pleasant one with good result. I can't think of him doing anything better than he does. A good choice for a dentist who will care for you as an individual

Dr. Ommar was fantastic! Got me right in. Without a doubt best decision I made to switch over. Had a few fillings. That went flawless as well. Working on getting my whole family switched over.

Smile village is literally the best dentist office ever .I love all of the staff they are all extremely nice and very helpful every time i come in i always have a wonderful experience they always make me feel very comfortable and welcome ,Dr ommar is a miracle worker she has filled and repaired many of my teeth two of which were extremely close to needing a root canal but dr ommar was able to clean out both of them and successfully fill them in , I had cracked a filling on a Friday and was very scared I wouldn't be able to get it fixed before getting on my braces the following monday, monday came I drove there first thing in the morning to see if she could look at it she ended up fixing and filling it right then and there i am so extremely grateful she took Me in right away that day
So I was able to get my braces on later that morning I am and will always be grateful for the wonderful experiences I I've had and will continue to have at such an amazing place thanks smile village 😁

I had a bridge done in 2001 and it is still perfect. I moved to Texas and my current dentist couldn’t tell my teeth were veneers. I think if i ever need work done again I will fly to Illinois & have Dr. Sullivan do it!!

Dr Omar is amazing, explains everything and no pain when having work done. Office staff is very welcoming and pleasant
