Had a terrible experience with another auto mech in Rapid City who was trying to diagnose an over heating issue with my vehicle, finally had enough with them and brought it to McKie. Ryan was a huge help in keeping me notified on what steps they were taking to diagnose and the tech who is working on it took his time to look over everything the other shop had messed up. McKie does their best to make our vehicles their priority! We never feel like they “up sale” us on needed parts or device! They give us our best options and then let us make the decision! Love that about them!

I usually have a jaded view of automobile dealerships. John Baskerville, service manager, treated me with respect and resolved the problem. I have nothing but high praise for his service.

I took my vehicle in over the weekend for a recall on my Flex and the staff was phenomenal. To start, they were able to get me in much quicker than I had anticipated when calling. The service was quick and they were communicative. They even replaced my tail light while there and the staff was very personable and friendly when I picked up!

Had to stop into the parts Dept while on vacation. We were really stuck and desperately needed parts for our Powerstroke. McKie was out of stock and couldn’t locate what we needed anywhere nearby. Jeff at the parts counter went over and above trying to help us out. He searched through the shop and then went out of his way to find a solution for us.

You don’t often find parts guys that are helpful, professional and helpful at an automotive dealership. But this was a very pleasant experience.

I would highly recommend this dealership based on this experience. We almost regret that we’ll probably never be back in Rapid and miss doing future business here.

I had very good experience with their service department after having a software issue with my ford ranger leaving me stranded in southwest south dakota in a snowstorm. Matt was able to get my truck in to be looked at by stephen, who was able identify the issue and fix it that morning and I was able get home that same day. I am appreciative of their responsiveness.

Very good quick service in the Fast Lane for my 2019 F-350 30,000 mile service. Oil change, DEF, checked all tires, etc. and the service writer, Steven Hickens explained everything on the service before and when the service was completed.

I was visiting the area when my truck was having mechanical problems. I was very grateful they worked me in, got me going and back on the road.

Been using this business from day one. Trust them to make my car right.
