Amazing open hearted and extremely knowledgeable staff. They meet you where you are to get the job done as easily and comfortable as they can. Dr. Lerner is lovingly no nonsense, communicates clearly and is very accommodating with questions. He is also just a great dentist with a wealth of knowledge and skill. Front office staff is accommodating and welcoming as well. I dont often review and rarely give 5 stars. This office is 5 stars!

I have been a patient at the Center for Holostic Dentistry for almost 30 years, and I highly recommend Dr. Lerner. When he removed all of my amalgam fillings the room was like a spaceship: all of the staff wearing hazmat suits and gas masks, a huge fan system sucking out any mercury vapors that might escape during the procedure, and I had an oxygen mask on my nose and a vapor barrier in my mouth. All of the toxic fillings were replaced with safer composite material, and it went smoothly and painlessly. Dr. Lerner also uses kinesiology testing to help identify the problematic areas and how the issues with your teeth relate to other parts of your body . I always feel like I have the best, most advanced care at Dr. Lerner's office.

I am so grateful to have found Dr. Lerner and his team. Dr. Lerner and staff are extremely knowledgeable and experienced. For each procedure, Dr Lerner took the time to thoroughly explain what was going on in my mouth, how the body is affected and what his approach was. The follow up care is invaluable. Staff reviewed post care procedures before leaving the office and checked in on me on following days to make sure I was healing properly and feeling well. Everyone in the office is compassionate, patient and nurturing. I’m very thankful for their honesty and wholesome work. I highly recommend The Center for Holistic Dentistry for anyone who is seeking a biological dentist.

I have been seeing Dr. David Lerner for over 30 years because he is one of the pioneers of non-toxic, holistic dentistry. I have complete confidence in his technique and abilities. His staff is also first rate.

Nobody enjoys going to the dentist, and I’m no different. I’ve heard enough horror stories. But Dr. Lerner and his staff might just have changed my mind with their holistic approach to dentistry. My extraction was done with virtually no trauma, during or after, and he and his staff made me feel at ease during the whole procedure. Great service. Great atmosphere. Great experience all around. If you fear visiting the dentist, Dr Lerner is one I would highly recommend.

Dr. Lerner is a highly skilled dentist! He produces excellent results and is very careful to fully evaluate the patient’s dental needs in order to arrive at a very reasonable and complete treatment plan. FIVE STARS!

My favorite dentist’s office! A wonderful view out the window as you’re getting your teeth done. Friendly, helpful staff. No pressure to do any work that isn’t 100% necessary. Worth the extra money for positive, preventative healthcare and a pleasant dentist visit.

I can’t thank Dr. Lerner and his staff enough, notably his assistant Nicole for expertly handling my mercury filling removals.I had it done in 2 phases and they took very good care of me on both occasions. The whole office is very pleasant, so professional and I look forward to my visits. On this most recent cleaning appointment, Linda did my cleaning. She was gentle and thorough. Highly recommend.

I've been a patient for years and have found Dr. Lerner and staff completely dedicated to the health of my teeth and whole body. They are also very compassionate and caring, and when nerves have gotten the best of me, have employed natural techniques to bring me to a calmer state. Dr Lerner is very caring and careful so are his staff. Only dentist in the area smart certified for mercury silver filling removal. After my experience the only place I’d go! Especially if you want your dental care to add to your overall well-being not be a detriment to it.

I just had my teeth cleaned by Jane at The Center for Holistic Dentistry. Wow! My teeth look and feel great. Jane is extremely skilled, sensitive and thorough. I don't think I've ever had such a thorough cleaning. I have some tender areas in my mouth and she gave me a topical anesthetic that made the cleaning process comfortable. Jane and all of the staff at CHD are exceptional. I'm very glad my good friend recommended this dental practice to me.

Excellent dentist and staff! Dr. Lerner and his staff are truly holistic. The care and compassion they have shown my 83 year old mother has been outstanding. I found Dr. Lerner’s office online while searching for Holistic Dentists in the NY/tri-state area. I was looking for a healthier and more natural way to approach my dental hygiene and care, which is exactly what I found at The Center for Holistic Dentistry, and more! Dr. Lerner and his staff were extremely thorough during my cleanings, as well as when I had a new crown put on my tooth. It was almost to my surprise, because I had not received that level of care before at my previous dental offices. Everybody who I talked and interacted with at the office was extremely personable and very accommodating when it came to scheduling. Their level of professionalism, combined with a true desire to help their patients, has transformed me into a life long patient. Anybody that honestly wants to take responsibility for their dental hygiene/care should come to this office. My time with Dr. Lerner and his staff has truly changed my dental habits, and for that I am grateful.

Dr learner and his staff is amazing. I travel 2 hours to see them. Dr learner and Maria has done such an amazing job, I couldn't be happier. They have done 9 Mercury removals, safely I never got sick. I also had a ceramic implant that looks amazing and was pain free. Only denstist that requested that I get a 3D X-ray done before I got my implant, and I'm glad I did. Great dentist wish they were closer.

Excellent experience during my initial consultation. The most complete examination I have ever had by a dentist, including full body muscle testing. This testing uncovered major alignment issues with my jaw which has been causing a lifetime of misalignment throughout the rest of my body. Dr. Lerner and his staff are outside the box thinkers and I am very happy I have found them.

I have to say, if going to the dentist can be an amazing experience than this is it. The staff was so friendly, and they were so gentle and patient. They renewed my faith in dentists, and I think I finally feel good about good to the dentist again. If you are nervous, or have been procrastinating going, I HIGHLY recommend this office, they are OUTSTANDING!

I had developed a fear of going to the dentist, after a horrible experience a few years back. I had been going to the same dentist for roughly 20 years. He was the only dentist I went to since I was 5 years old. He probably should have retired much sooner than he did. Although I am fortunate with no cavities, a simple cleaning turned into a blood bath.... Each time getting worse as he aged and his hands were not as steady as they began. It took years for me to go back for a check up again.

I rarely write these recommendations, but when you receive OUTSTANDING service, you just want to tell EVERYONE.

My sister has been going to the Center for Holistic Dentistry for years and as a result of her positive experiences has our mother going there for her dental exams so I felt very comfortable going to them when I needed to find a new dentist. Having taken my mother to a couple of appointments before I became a patient, I had the opportunity to observe their holistic approach to dentistry and appreciate their thorough explanations of procedures. I have never before had my blood pressure taken at a dentist's office and was very happy that they were also doing an oral cancer screening. I wish/hope that more dentists and medical doctors would adopt the holistic approach as I truly see it as a win/win approach for dentistry/medicine and patients.

"Work is love made visible" is the perfect description of how The Center for Holistic Dentistry operates. The entire staff is uniquely informed, friendly, professional and invested in making every visit productive and delightful. Seriously.
Maria, in particular, is not only brilliant, knowledgeable and deeply, personally invested in treating the whole person but she is also fantastically artistically talented. Her attention to every detail makes the transitional phases of some long dental processes involving having to have "things" in your mouth not only bearable but exciting because your personal aesthetics aren't suffering while you're working towards results. In fact, once my jaw was analyzed and adjusted there were instantaneous and dramatic improvements that I was pleasantly shocked by!
And, most impressively, my kid LOVES going to the dentist. Beat that.
