Neno's Mexican Food- Canandaigua

Ordered a full meal here and everything was great! Worth the price and the experience. I highly recommend those who live nearby to try this out.

All the food was excellent, including the churros for dessert. The filling for the empanadas was delicious

Delicious street tacos were the centerpiece of our visit to Neno's. We enjoyed the chicken, pork, beef and vegetable tacos. Everyone had a good time.

The carnitas tacos and beef tacos were fantastic.

I have been on the hunt for mexican birria tacos for a few weeks now. I saw this place was in town and had them but unfortunately when we ordered, the birria tacos had previously been taken off the menu, which is understandable. This restaurant is run out of Star Cider, which is a bar you walk up to and order. My partner and I went when it was a bit busy. There is a lack of a line or stationary cash register to order at, and this seems to get confusing for the person taking orders at the bar, rightfully so. All of the staff members were very friendly and efficient, and the food is fairly priced; $40 for an appetizer, 2 entrees, and a dessert. We waited about 10 minutes for our food, while two toddlers were running around the restaurant screaming, rolling around on the floor, and climbing all over tables. Obviously this wasn't Star Cider's fault, and i'm sure the employees aren't allowed to intervene, but why allow little babies to run around like this at a bar for adults? The interior of this place is one big open room, full of stone and metal, so all sounds are amplified, including the metal chairs that scrape on the floor. After taking all of this in, we decided to take our food to go. Once we got home and ate it, oh my goodness. BEST mexican food i've ever had. I won't be returning to dine in- however, I will 100% be getting food from Nenos again.
