Had our family reunion here back in September 2023. We had an awesome time, so it's great doing it again 2024. I'm so looking forward to it. They give grills, a lot of tables, some spots have a nice gazebo to put the food and elders under. They have a pool. Can't wait to go back and enjoy the park and family.

Walking and hiking trails are plentiful in this NYS park. Easy access off the Taconic State Pkwy in Yorktown Heights. The 960 acres also offers picnic areas, disc golf, pool, and fishing. Part of the NY-NJ Trail Conference, all trails are marked and maps are available to download.

This is a huge and lovely state park to explore. Many picnic tables available to celebrate parties with family and friends. BBq grill iz also available for use. Nice ambiance to chill and breath some fresh air. One could hike/run, swim in their pool or fish in lake. New playground is under construction now. Entrance on weekends $8/car. Swimming pool entrance $3/car. Please take note there many rules in using the pool area. We enioyed our birthday party celebration here.

Great walk anytime of the year. Using the @empireparkpass to access the past on a regular basis.

Great winter walking bathroom closest to entrance on Taconic is open. One of off road trail is plowed. Found Rudolph hanging out with Dasher

Excellent state park. Great for biking, fishing and walking. We saw beavers, ducks and snakes on our visit. We wanted to rent a boat but for some reason they are closed - even though When we called earlier they said they were open(we arrived at the boat rental area around 12 in the afternoon--near parking lot 6). Lots of picnic tables with bbq grills. Readily parking available. Beware the cost of parking/entering the park is $8.00. Lots of things to do for outdoor activities. There is a pool . Fishing is good but if you have a boat. Restrooms are beyond disgusting and definitely need attention.

A large park with wide open spaces for doing lots of different activities. Ideal for a picnic year round. There are basketball courts, and a baseball diamond. Some facilities are closed in winter. Parking is free in winter, but not the rest of the year.

Great kids park with really innovative playsets and rope courses. Great place for a quiet ( or loud) bbq. Also has spots for boating and possibly even boat rentals, though didn't get to try those. Overall great place to go to if you are trying to burn some calories - off of yourself or your toddler- or both.

Absolutely beautiful Lake, with over a Dozen of species of fish. Small pier fishing, the best is to traverse the lake via a small boat. Rentals are available during the season. A gem of Westchester County!

It's a gem of a park, beautiful trails, lake and BBQ area. Highly recommend. Go into Yorktown, grab some lunch, it's a beautiful historic town.

It's a grest place to take the family...its $10 for parking and $3 person or child for the pool. However, infants are free. Its best to go during the week early hours if you aren't into crowds

Great pool, awesome fishing spot with decent trailer ramp, and just a really nice well run State Park. A great way to spend an afternoon… Admittance is reasonable…Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

This is such a great park. It has just about everything for a fun filled family outing. A great playground. Barbecue areas every 5’ with rentable areas for private events. A Disc golf course that’s set up really nice. There’s also volleyball, paddle boats, hiking trails and a pool…. Very dog friendly.

Great park to come to for any activity or get-together. It's huge and very spacious, has a lake area too..

Great time, great experience. My kids had fun in the pool, and they also enjoyed being in the park and relaxing. The food from the food court was good and inexpensive. The restrooms outside of the pool were not looking good

I loved this park.. specially recmonded for bbq.. river side.. 6 parking lots.. good place to visit. Bathrooms available..kids zone.. river side.. beautiful lake scene

A great spot for the family and the fishing is next level its like fishing a florida lake but they will definitely make u work for it tho

Great walking, both on pavement and dirt. Walked to the lake and hung out there for a while

Amazing but challenging disc golf course. We played 9 holes and were the only ppl on the course the whole time. BYO discs and long socks recommended!
