Antrim Park used to be the cite of the Olen Company in the 1950-60’s, the name came from the Olentangy and they supplied businesses with sand. The company relocated and the family that owned it left the land to the city and made this amazing park.

The park is connected to the olentangy River trail which spans to downtown Columbus to Worthington so you can easily bike or run along the trail to get here.

There is a 1.2 mile loop around the lake that you can walk or run (but cycling is not allowed). Many dogs walk around this lake if you are walking your dogs there is a poop bag dispenser in the parking lot (but otherwise you won’t find any), but there are plenty of waste baskets around the lake of your dog need to throw anything away.

There is no swimming in the lake but people fish. There are port-a-potties in the far end of the parking lot, some playgrounds and baseball diamonds and soccer fields to enjoy in the park.

One of my favorite parks to take a relaxing walk in Columbus, and enjoy some beautiful nature scenes. I saw a beaver swimming by the last time I was there, and a few little bunnies! I love that you can easily go on the Olentangy trail if you'd like, or just do the loop trail around the pond. Even though it's really close to the highway, I don't feel like you can hear the traffic once you're down the trail a little bit, which is nice. Always enjoy seeing all the dogs walking around as well, or sitting on the dock for a little while as well.

Great small, easy to access park. Love that it's adjacent to olentangy trail in case you want miles. But also has some woodsy trails for more of an outdoorsy feel. Love the morning views!

I have lived 15 minutes away from Antrim Lake for the past two decades and just discovered this gem! I loved it so much that after my first visit, I returned three more times within five days. The loop around the lake is accessible with many people around walking, running, or fishing. There are several spaces that will be perfect for picnics or lounging with a good book in hand. At times that I visit alone, I have felt safe. While the highway overpass may not be ideal, the sound does get muffled after a while and isn’t too bothersome. I look forward to exploring more of the trails in and around the park soon.

Really enjoyed this park and trail. The gravel trail is mostly wide and easy to walk with kids and/or dogs. There are various areas along the trail that allow you to go down to the lake (this is where a lot of people set up to fish).

The lake is full of wildlife: ducks, fish, and turtles if you look closely. The area is beautiful. There is also a bike path. There are no bathrooms on site that I found by the lake, but there were two porter potties.

Prefect place to take a little stroll around the lake any time of the day. There are many other things to do here but the lake is definitely the crown jewel.

There is a gravel path that surrounds and us military folks love to take running test or train. It has nice variations of inclines and declines. The park is linked by a paved trail to all the other parks lining the Scioto River. I normally start my bike ride to downtown from here since parking is ample.

The park is well maintained, lots of benches for people/ nature watching. Views are spectacular during the fall! They have multiple sports fields and it’s feels like a pretty pet friendly park. They have portable toilets in the parking area as well. The only issue is the expressway can be a bit annoying at rush hour.

Overall a nice place for a walk, run, dog walking, exercise, sightseeing, relaxing or just enjoying the weather in a nature setting.

Absolutely love walking this trail. I think it's 1.2 miles around the lake if I'm not mistaken? There's tennis courts, soccer fields, a dock to fish on, a playground and more!

My favorite park of all times. This park has perfect sunsets. Beautiful views...It has a great path circling the beautiful Antrim Lake. If you just want to watch the view, that is fine as well, there are various places to sit and they are mostly available. You can walk your pet with a leash on. There is plenty of parking; no need to worry about. I advise you to bring a water bottle with you because there is no water fountain and no place to buy refreshments. This park is a heaven! I missed this park so much because I moved away.

Besides the fact that it’s next to a highway it’s a pretty park.

Wonderful stretch of trail to either bike or hike around this captivating body of water. Easy access for chairs or other motorized mobility aids. Beautiful during the spring!

Really pretty park. It was nice to walk and see the lake. A few fellas were fishing and enjoying themselves. On the other side are tennis courts, soccer fields, and a play area for the kids. Overall, lots to do and see.

AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, PEACEFUL. Always a friendly face around. Amazing bike trails. GET OUT IN NATURE. Also, get here now. You are going to love it. If you are not in the mood to walk or bike? Pack a lunch or snack and relax on one of the many benches that surrounds the water. Or if you’re into fishing, this is the perfect spot. I can’t say enough great things about this park. I’m in love with it. Also great for animals.

Nice loop around the lake. Also some good paths in the woods. After you enter from under the bridge and see the lake, follow the trail left/north. After the bike path splits off, keep an eye out for an opening to the woods.

This path will take you north through a grove of honeysuckle, and will turn right/east along a dam and then loops south along the river. You can exit a few times, but you can also keep going and have a beautiful hike in the woods vs the path, which can get crowded at times.keep an eye out for deer and other wildlife as you make your way along.the river path.

It always amazes me how many parks are tucked away in the city. This lovely spot is huge with tons of trails both for walking and bike riding. It's pet friendly. There are multiple tennis courts and fields to play frisbee or football. There is a good size playground for kids. There is also a large "lake"/pond that has a large walking trail around it with paths to the water for people to fish. Something for everyone to do, great place for kids and pets.

Great park for walk, cycling, fishing, tennis, etc.
Beautiful lake with trail around. Can be accessed from Olentangy bike trail.
Good parking available. Lot of birds and animals.
Great place to spend a weekend sunset. Some area of the trail was flooded when I visited.
I would recommend this place for picnic and weekend outings.

Antrim Park is a great community park. Great clubhouse to rent for family reunions, church outings, large gatherings of any sort. Lots of ball fields used at varies times of the year. Great lake over a mile to walk around. Also plenty of fish to catch and rainbow trout are stocked a few times of year.

One of my favorite parks in Columbus, the trail around the pond is very well maintained but I love the woods for exploring as well!
