Dr. Davis was assigned to us after I reluctantly took my ex fiance back to court after letting things slide for years. I was optimistic at first, but she was grossly negligent. She didn't call out the mother for parentally alienating behavior. Dr. Davis sided with my ex and made me agree to any conditions my child and her mother asked for while giving me no input. She told me in front of my ex that my feelings and my mom's feelings didn't matter after allowing my family to be kept from my visits and allowed my daughter to believe I didn't keep up my end of the agreement when I violated those terms. I wasn't told what I was agreeing to up front. She told me I was too passive in our first conversation and then immediately over the next several sessions expected me to give in with no exceptions. I wasn't told by my daughter or her mother about an upcoming soccer season and when I brought it up, Dr. Davis told me we wouldn't discuss it, but they were constantly allowed to malign me. It got so toxic, my daughter won't speak to me unless she's making accusations and cussed me out. Dr. Davis just wanted me back under their control to stop the fighting. She didn't bother to investigate and offer a permanent solution to restore the relationship. A licensed counselor should know you can't strip a father of his authority in front of his ex and child and then expect him to take responsibility for the failed relationship. Almost three years have gone by and I have lost my hope because of her incompetence.

If I could rate her 0 stars I would. My daughter had PTSD after Davis was done with her so called reintegration "family counseling" in 2021 in my custody case.. which I won. Davi took the side of my ex husband, kicked me out of the counseling sessions and refused to elt me know what was discussed in the sessions. However she was more than happy to send put my 13yr in tears after each session. She is nothing but a child abuser.
