I've sent hundreds of packages through here and never had a problem

I ordered express 1 day delivery my parcel hasn’t left Oakland in 3 days..

Trash USPS and trash service, how could it take 3 days from San Francisco to Oakland and then take 2 days back to SF, how could these people get paid so much for such a easy job and they can't even handle it? It doesn't happen once, almost 1 out of 3 packages couldn't arrive smoothly. Garbage!

This place is a joke, and so is the post office. My package has been sitting at this facility since Dec 7th with estimated delivery on the 11th. It is not the 12th and it is still sitting at this Oakland distribution center. For a brief period of time on Dec 9th, it was updated to just "In Transit" with no location given, then a few hours later it was reversed back to arriving at Oakland distribution center on Dec 7th. The post offices phone line is a joke, can never talk to an actual person and the automated menus get you literally no where.

I paid $59 for Express overnight shipping for my medications yesterday for delivery today. The tracking stopped as soon as it hit Oaklands distribution center YESTERDAY! This is literally a medical emergency for me and I still do not have my items. I just need someone to ship my package PLEASE

How long does it take to sort packages here? I had a package go into my local post office, and then go to this facility. It would usually be out for delivery but instead sent to this place.

USPS workers at this sorting and distribution center are literally sabotaging the USPS brand, who are they, why are they doing this ? I bet they are paid sweet $90k annual salary with benefits, can't they at least respect their pay check and stop randomly sending packages and letters all over the map as well as stop making packages disapper at this facility. The director of this facility must be fired. Such a dysfunction at this facility.

Mailed 6 letters and bills on 10/2 at Solano post office boxes and none have been delivered after 9 days while signs added to boxes with "out of order". No response to calls or other inquiries.

This center is a joke. They sort mail randomly, no controls or regulation. My USPS priority with a passport enroute from Minneapolis to San Jose arrived Oakland USPS but somehow sent to New York. I canceled my travel plans, 1.5 month on, I am still waiting my passport after an "expedited" application. This is a scam.

I ordered a laptop battery and it has been at the Oakland Processing facility for four days now, no sign of movement. Maybe eventually I will get the battery.

Ordered a dress off of Amazon on July 11 and got shipped to this place on the 20th. It hasn’t left that place still to this day and it says packages only stay there for a day or two. Wth

My package has been sitting here since November 3. Please get it together. It shouldn't take this long

Package has sat in limbo there for a month now. I had already sorta lost hope after two weeks and just regarded it has lost or stolen.

My package from Las Vegas , NV to Hayward CA made it to Oakland, Ca only to be rerouted to Seattle, WA. This happens quite frequently! It appears that they are rushed and can’t pay attention to detail!

I sent a package to Houston and tracking number show that
the package is still in distriubtion center for over 2 weeks.

Everyone at this facility lazy? Package has been there for days and it looks like it's a problem with more than one person.

So I came back on here to check the reviews and this place is still trash I see.

Oakland Processing & Distribution Center IS LIKE A DINOSAUR. a Blackhole. my package is lost at this location and no one cares there. The manager at this center should be fired. He is not running the center as it suppose to be run. They have my package or they throw it in the trash.

Every time I have a package that is routed through this station something happens to it, it dosen't move at all for a week or two.
I had a package a few weeks ago that was rerouted to Hawaii from this USPS facility in Oakland CA. I live 1 hour 45 minutes away from Oakland. Why the hell would they send it to Hawaii first from there?
I write this as I await a package that has been sitting there, waiting to be delivered for a few days now, with a delivery date for today. Probably won't see it for another week. This facility is extremely incompetent.
If I could give a zero star rating I would.

I purchased a game system on Facebook marketplace at the end of November and its last update was December 1st. I was supposed to have it by 12/6, according to the tracking number. Still hasn't moved. Absolutely horrible facility. Incompetence all around.
