Just got a gift card for my avid-reader sibling, who is impressed by the selection of books. I am a huge fan of the book store, and the people who work there ! everyone was so friendly, and knowledgeable. I've also ordered books online, and everything comes super fast-- and beautiful packaging. I wish I had a moments closer to me on the east coast. 5 stars

It is so amazing to have a Queer, Trans, People of color run bookstore and community space in our very own Downtown Oakland! From the moment you enter moments co-op, the beautiful community fridge outside feeding the neighborhood, the bold bright welcoming colors on the wall, incredibly knowledgable staff (not to mention also very COVID safe), in depth selection of new and used books, zines and children's books and generous tools for the community to rent/use! I would highly recommend this bookstore and just learned that they also do online orders and gift cards!!!! Favorite bookstore in the Bay Area!
