The Little Diner

This is one of the best dinners I've ever experienced. The wait looked insane but really wasn't bad at all. Sat at the counter and ordered coffee.

The Jim Little's famous eggs Benedict was hands down the best Benedict I have ever had. The tangy, sweet hollandaise with a bit of kick was beyond imagination. Everything perfectly cooked to combine the best breakfast I can recall. The drive from Denver was 100% worth it.

Went back this week and its still the best diner food I've ever had. Added some corn beef hash to the amazing food I've had here. If you're picking one diner in Colorado make it this one.

Went here because I heard it was amazing, and it sure was! The french toast made up for a previously disappointing venture elsewhere, and the German pancake was alluring by description and I had to give it a try. It was outstandingly good with a warm center and crispy outside. It could probably feed 2 people normally!

Woooow, the best place in Vail for breakfast. Pancakes are incredible, omelets are amazing, great coffee and on the spot service. Thoroughly enjoyed this experience, the restaurant was packed and I’m coming again.

Definitely recommend this place for breakfast if you are in Vail. It is recommended tho to add yourself to the waitlist before you arrive, especially if you are aiming to go +9 am. The waiting time could take an hour.
The Benedict was so delicious, pancakes were very fluffy and the dutch baby was fun (would prefer to add poached eggs to it if possible). The service was quick even though the resturant was full.

The Little Diner is located inside of a building on the Circle. Our waiter Max was great! I had a hamburger the burger was hot and cooked to perfection. The bun made the burger along with the fried jalapeños and chipotle mayo. The Rueben was delicious, nice chunks of corned beef, not some thin shaved meat. Great sandwich! The club was great! My granddaughter had a crepe and a side of bacon, both great. The bacon is cooked to perfection and it’s thick. Love this place for breakfast and lunch.

The FOOD is 🤤 Finding a great breakfast spot that is fast and delicious is always a good thing.

We are here multiple times while traveling to Vail and it was great each time. We had the omlets, biscuits with gravy, and breakfast sandwiches.

You will pay for it though. Standard check was $40-$60 before we left. It is a resort area.

LOVED it.......THE BEST breakfast. Sister had the ranch breakfast and I had a short stack. THE BEST pancakes I've ever had. Sit at the counter if you can....the waiter was pretty hilarious and we were able to personally thank the cook who manned the griddle. It was pretty neat to be able to watch the system in which the chefs cooked.

First time vacationing in Vail , heard of this restaurant through YouTube we love trying different restaurants by far one of the best breakfast restaurants in Vail absolutely!!!

Great spot in Vail for breakfast or lunch! Friendly staff here. Eggs Benedict were tasty and had the perfect hint of citrus in the hollandaise sauce. Classic can't miss.

The best bacon I’ve ever had. Incredible pancakes and hash browns as well. Everyone loved their dishes!

Omgosh this place is the best. I ordered the reuben. The corned beef was tender and cooked perfectly. The bread toasted perfectly. Fries crispy. And the best value in the Vail area by far. I will make sure to stop here every time we're visiting. I sat at the bar top and the lady with the European accent who waited on me was so sweet.

I ate breakfast at The Little Diner three times at Vail. They have great, relatively cheap breakfasts that are high quality. There’s a large menu with a lot to choose from. I had the Denver omelette the first day, the tall stack of pancakes the second day, and the corned beef hash the third day. All tasted really good, the service was very fast, the staff was friendly, and the prices weren’t too bad. There’s nothing more I could ask for. I give The Little Diner my full recommendation.

My personal favorite is their “classic” turkey club - pic attached - but you really can’t go wrong.

The entire menu is delicious and is designed to satisfy any craving you waltz into this homey, welcoming joint with.

Whether it’s a full-size omelette, tasty breakfast sandwich, or a Goliath burger, the Little Diner has got you covered.

Tucked away in Lionshead is this place with tons of character and great food. Service and staff attitude are also something rarely found today. Get there early.

Perfect place to grab a quick(ish) bite to eat before hitting the slopes! The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We were mad we found it on the last day of our trip or we would've definitely gone more! The pancakes were some of the best I've ever had, and I'm no pancake newbie.

One of the best restaurants In vail colorado that I had eaten and work. Pretty much all the food is fresh and has a good taste. Is one of does kitchen that does deep cleaning for 2 or 3 hrs when they close for day. Most of the food is made from the house that has their secrets. YOU BE HAPPY AND NOT DISAPPOINTED.

Literally the best food must try pancakes our server was so kind friendly and attentive definitely have to try when in vail it is located in Lionshead village!

Loved this place. Took a (somewhat) long walk from the main village over to Lion's head for breakfast. Great vibe, great staff, and great food. Coffee was OK.

You should definitely try the Pannekoken - which are GIANT and one can be enough for 4 people. See some of the pictures people have taken but they are delicious. I really recommend the blueberry topping for these.

The rest of the breakfast food was good, but I don't really recommend the corn beef hash. Definitely on my places to come back to next season.

Had some great pancakes. Very cute classic diner with a great atmosphere. Great way to start the ski day slowly and get pumped for hitting the slopes. The waitress Miriam is super on top of everything. She’s awesome.
