The slopes at Vail offered a perfect blend of challenge and accessibility for a beginner. The well-groomed trails and breathtaking mountain views added to the overall experience. The instructor's personalized approach and effective teaching techniques made the learning process enjoyable and efficient. The resort's commitment to safety was evident, creating a sense of security as I navigated the slopes. The après-ski options and vibrant atmosphere off the slopes complemented the on-mountain experience, making Vail not just a ski destination but a memorable getaway. I look forward to returning for more skiing adventures at Vail in the future.

Came here for my first snowboarding experience & now I see why people say it's their favorite place. The rumors did not disappoint. The staff, customer service & atmosphere are amazing. I had so much fun & I'm definitely coming back.

4 days here. All bluebird. So much to explore here. Water is easily accessible. Some of the catwalks aren't great for snowboarders; some walking to get to the better spots in back bowls. Food prices were expensive as expected but still great quality food.

It’s a great time!

Vail certainly has all the amenities and niceties. Skiing is great, make sure you get to the back bowls, plenty of intermediate/blue terrain back there as well Poppyfields was one of my favorites.

Vail Village is also a good time!

We came to Beaver Creek but in early December they are getting ready for the birds of prey competition. So we wound up going over to Vail and enjoying it extremely much! The green runs were absolutely lovely and well-groomed and everyone there was very helpful! The lodges at the top of the mountain have great food with a spectacular view!

We will be back!

Vail is huge, has awesome slopes, and stunning scenery. Coming from the east coast, it was absolutely jaw dropping when we first made it to the top. Definitely agree with everyone else that it's one of the most scenic resorts in Colorado.

We rode the Eagle Bahn gondola up to Eagles Nest, and the view was spectacular. We could not have picked a better day to go, as the sky was clear, temps in the low 30's and no wind. Highly recommend visiting Eagles Nest.

Vail is a beautiful little town, so many places to eat, shop, and just relax. The mountain it’s self is beautiful they offer so many different trails. Me and my friend went snowboarding in vail and we are still talking about it. It can get kinda confusing up on the mountain you will go up one lift come down expecting to be in the same place then end up at another lift on the opposite side of the mountain. I recommend getting a map before going up the mountain and figuring out your path. It’s not that important because everything is within walking distance if you end up at the other side of the resort.

Vail is literally such a dreamy resort. I can't even accurately describe how beautiful it is. There is SOOOOOO much mountain to explore here, I feel like I barely even grazed the surface. Their greens and blues are more challenging, so if you're brand new to the sport I'd highly recommend a lesson. I'd also suggest really studying the map before you head up, there's sooooo many trail options. I absolutely loved my time on the mountain here! The town is also super fun. Feels like you step into a different country!

A magical place, completely set away and different from everyday life, filled with friendly people, interesting shops, and good places to eat and enjoy live music. Lionshead and Vail villages are an easy stroll apart, no transport needed, but there is a free, frequent bus service if you want it. For the second year running, we went for the Ice Spectacular at Dobson Arena, starring a number of well-known US ice skaters. It was a fantastic, well-organised event which we hope to repeat next year.🫰As non-skiers we felt that three full days in Vail were just about enough, more would have been overkill. A bit of a trek to get there from the UK but definitely worth every mile.

Best little town in America. Our favorite little secret. We could stay here forever. We’ve only visited in the summer. White water rafting, mountain biking, ropes course, gondolas… list goes on and on!

Vail offers some of the best of the best skiing. I love skiing here, and I also love hiking the mountain in the summer. I tried out Blue Sky Basin for the first time today, and was blown away by the incredible skiing. The backbowls are what makes Vail special to me though. I can't think of another resort where you have as much versatile terrain available. If you want to avoid paying extra for things, bring your own food & water and park at Donovan park for free.

Being there in the summer is a totally different experience. All sorts of activities for adults and children too.
Hiking, mountain biking, sightseeing and taking a Gondola ride to the top of the mountain. Plenty of hotels/rental space and more restaurants and bars than you can count. While we were there, they had a wine festival, a jazz festival, and other formal gatherings. The weekend went by so quickly. Our comment at the end was we.could've stayed a week!

Awesome runs, lots of trails, and don’t underestimate the gondola!! Went to Breckenridge and going up the mountain you become an icicle by the time you get to the top of the mountain, because you’re riding on lift with no cover. Exposed to freezing cold winds. If I had to rate the mountains to see in Colorado, it would be Vail, Keystone, Breckenridge.

It’s a great place to ski. There was fresh snow while we skied for six days.

My new favorite ski resort. The back bowls are amazing and wide open. Every run has great tree runs close by. Signage on the front side is amazing. Could improve signage in the back side in my opinion. Really easy to traverse the mountain. Staff was great as well.
