Lodge at Lionshead

Best hotel I stayed at in Colorado. The standard 2 bedroom apartment was great. A private parking garage, spacious rooms, swimming pools and fitness center made the stay very enjoyable. Not sure what it's like during winter when it is packed with people. Nevertheless, I highly recommend it.

We just recently stayed here for 5 nights. We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. First, the staff is super friendly and helpful. Since it was our first time in Vail We had a bunch of questions before the trip. The concierge and front desk staff helped us tremendously answering all of our questions. No way we could have done it without them. The hotel itself is located walking distance maybe 3-4 minutes at the most from the lifts, which is a huge plus when trying to ski with kids. As for the rooms, nothing fancy but spacious for what we needed. You really can't beat the location with a supermarket right next door. We would definitely stay here again in the future! Hope we can make it back again soon!

Found this place years ago as it was recommended to me by Jeep for a Jeep Camp weekend near Vale at Camp Hale on top of the mountain with a special rock concert, so it actually was in the summertime. However this was the perfect place to go in the winter obviously location couldn't be better as was right by the lifts and loved the condo we had. It was clean, maintained, no problems. The price may have seemed a little pricey but considering the location and the quality of the condo we had I thought it was definitely worth it. A short distance by car you could stop at Beaver Creek as well for skiing or shopping too. Great hiking in the summer on trails in the mountains and went on a National Geographic Photographer led hike sponsored by Jeep. Had a concert on top of the mountain with top star country singers. And my son went on a river rafting trip with a group sponsored by Jeep as well. Great location for winter or summer.

My husband, myself, and both sides of our family stayed at Lodge at Lionshead for our wedding last week. Katie could not have been more helpful and organized in our planning process. We had such an incredible time during our stay and it is in such a fantastic location as it is an easy walk to either side of town. I definitely recommend staying at the Lodge at Lionshead!

Had a very comfortable stay in one of the studio units. Check in and out were very easy and the place was clean from the room to the lobby to the pool area. The hot tub and pool setting is gorgeous. It’s right beside the Vail shuttle that helps you get into Vail Village if you can’t find what you want in Lionshead. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Went mid-Oct 2020 and a lot of stuff was closed but the places that were open were great. It was actually pretty busy when the weekend hit.

We had a fantastic stay at the lodge. The staff is extremely nice and accommodating. I was very impressed with Joy who just went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great stay. Also, there was a man at the front desk (I forgot his name, so sorry!) who was able to send an item to my house that was left behind. Thank you sir!

The condo was very nicely decorated, comfortable, and clean. The hot tub and pool were perfect after a day at the slopes. Not the mention, the location is perfect! It is right next to the gondola. I highly recommend this lodge! I hope to be back soon.

After a great day in the mountains, we were looking for a place to stay as we wanted to get one more day in for skiing! After some quick searching, we came across the Lodge at Lionshead with affordable rates especially since it was last minute. The staff was great and very accommodating for our party and got us a room in no time. The views were spectacular and the place was gorgeous. The city has a lot to offer and this place is within walking distance of everything. Will definitely be back as everything was super easy, convenient and clean.

Love this place! Staff is friendly, helpful, and respectful of privacy. Facilities are good, with a workout area and pool. Being right in Vail village means convenience, with buses coming regularly to shuttle visitors through the village.

We've only visited in the summer, but it's close to hiking, shopping, amazing restaurants, skiing, and more. It's a short drive into Avon for groceries or supplies. And the units here are very nice.

Can't wait to stay here again!

Great location, walk to the gondola/town in less than 5 minutes. We had a great terrace and love to warming up by the fireplace with some hot chocolate. Ski lockers outside your door a very handy. But it would be nice if they upgraded the laundry and added a coin machine or at least took cards.

We love everything about the Lodge at Lionshead so we keep coming back. The friendly and professional front office staff always greets you with warm hospitality. (Thank you Joy and Katie!) The location right on Gore Creek is stunning and is a very short walk to the lifts. The rooms are gorgeous and comfortable. The pool and hot tub are like medicine after a full day biking, hiking, or skiing. The LaL easily earns a five star review!

This is a tremendous place to stay and enjoy all that Vail has to offer. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Condos are very well appointed and offer what any family could need. Location is very convenient and in a very picturesque environment.

Can't beat the locations and staff was extremely nice. The bed in the master was hard and we where there when it was warm and the no AC was a little challenging until night. On the way back through we stayed at another "luxury" accommodations and quickly we realized how good we had it at Lionshead. We highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again.

The location is excellent and the units are spacious. But what makes the Lodge at Lionshead so great is the staff. From the day I called to check availability to the time we checked-out every interaction I had with Bobby, Kate and Joy was delightful. I will be back soon!

We rented two units side-by-side for a family vacation and had an incredible stay. Staff was extremely nice, pool was so much fun and perfectly warm, and it’s right on the creek so you have a built-in noise machine at night.

Great place to stay. Close to lionshead village and easy walk to vail village. We loved the heated floors in the bathrooms of our 1 bedroom loft.
The staff was unbelievably helpful with our difficult and changing situation. I recommend staying here any time.

Studios and 1br-4br condos, 100yds from the Lionshead lifts. Located along Gore Creek right next to the entrance to Lionshead Village in Vail. Each unit is individually owned and decorated, rated Gold, Platinum or Diamond. Very helpful staff!

The perfect place to stay in Vail! The condos are wonderful and the location is perfect for all activities. The staff is exceptional and always makes us feel at home. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

Loved it, beautiful location,also right in the heart of both towns. Great live music always lots of activities for kids, Best farmers market ever. We Will be coming back.

With last minute plans to stay in Vail, Lodge @ Lionshead really came through for us. Great location and truly beautiful with amazing amenities. Big shout out to the staff for being so accommodating!!

Managed by an amazing human. Close to the action in Vail. The spaces are well cared for and well managed. A definite must stay and well worth returning for. For us this has been an annual event.
