Austria Haus - Destination by Hyatt

First time staying with Austria House and feel in love with this hotel. The staff is professional, friendly, and goes out of your way to make sure whatever you need they are there to help. Perfect location for skiing or snowboarding and have a locker room to store your items. The rooms were beautiful and had a European style to them. It was an enjoyable get away vacation and would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for small, quaint and family like staff. Thank you for making this stay a fond memory.

Staff were great, every single person was helpful and friendly. Location is incredible. Room and bed were cozy and more comfortable and quiet than I could have hoped - excellent. Amenities were great (breakfast, hot tub, valet). Simply perfect - thank you to the team at Austria Haus!!

Wonderful quaint hotel in the center of Vail Village. Great simple walk to Lionshead or there is a shuttle. (10 min walk). VERY walkable. Tons of shops and restaurants near by. Priced very well considering it's Vail. We VERY much enjoyed our stay. BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS ON THE BALCONIES OH GOODNESS.
I'm pretty picky about cleanliness of rooms and bathrooms and this hotel met all my expectations. I also check every hotel room for bed bugs and obviously there were none. Moreover, the employees at the front desk were SO NICE!! How refreshing! The night manager was very kind too. Our stay was such a great memory and I look forward to coming back here in the future.
The breakfast was sufficient for sure, and the pool is small but absolutely beautiful.
I am trying to get my extended family to go to Vail next summer and stay in this hotel ! We are all very picky and usually stay at the Park Hyatt in Beaver Creek, however I feel that this place would be A+++. Thank you Austria Haus!!!

The kindest staff you will ever find!!! We had vehicle trouble when leaving and the staff went above and beyond to try & help us resolve the problem and make us comfortable while we waited for help. Especially Steve & the Valet, they were awesome! We can’t thank them enough!! The hotel is very Cozy, beds were very comfortable, and it is in a great location. Highly recommend!!!

Veronica at the front desk was so helpful during our stay from plotting out hikes for us, giving us extra waters, setting us up at the pool & hottub, to holding our bags on day of check out. She is friendly and a hard worker.
Location of hotel was excellent. Room was quaint & charming like the village. If you are deciding between a few hotels, you will not go wrong with Austria Haus.

Everything was fantastic! I wish I could have spent more time. The king bedroom was very spacious and included a fireplace and balcony. The valet and front desk staff were exceptional. They had print outs of the slopes and whether or not they were groomed and were happy to give helpful advice. The rental shop they were partnered with were great and very reasonably priced as well. Staff was helpful with recommendations for dinner and the free breakfast was very good as well. Hope to be back!

Absolutely loved my stay at Austria Haus for a ski weekend in Vail. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious but also cozy; we loved the heated bathroom floors and the fireplace. The bed was very comfortable and the room was super clean. Great location; walking distance to everything in the Village. There's a hot tub with a great view of the gondola. I would definitely stay here again!

Let me start of by saying that what make this hotel amazing is its STAFF, specially Kim, Mark and Colin.
Kim went above and beyond and called over 6 companies to arrange our last minute airport transportation, she didn’t give up and kept calling companies tell she was able to find us a good deal.
Mark was always there with his great energy and smile, and he made sure that all our needs were met, also he provided us with great recommendations for restaurants that made this trip special.
Colin was so helpful and always up to our service, he is the best.
We were a party of 4 adults and a baby and we stayed at the Austria haus for thanksgiving holiday
We booked two rooms that was so clean and provided with all the essentials that we need, each room is equipped with fireplace to keep us warm.
The location was EXCELLENT, it is right in-front of the bus station and near vail transportation and all the great Resturent is max 6 minutes away and few minutes walk to gondola one

I’m simply not used to this level of customer service. Staff are very polite, helpful, and in a good mood. Greeted on arrival and helped with our bags. Bags were taken to our room very quickly. Great coffee selection in the room. The heated bathroom tile floors are nice. Even with all of the COVID restrictions, It’s been a great experience. I’ll definitely be staying here again in the summer. Front desk helped us book an ATV tour (which is a must).

Amazing hotel...The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the heated bathroom was amazing. The staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. But Michael in Customer Service and Paula, Concierge, Outstanding Service. I had a wonderful experience at the Austria Haus Hotel. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Thank you! Will recommend to my family & friends.

Lovely room and quaint hotel! I'm much more sensitive or aware of the cleanliness of hotels post-covid and I will say that this hotel was very charming and clean! The bed was white and crisp and comfy, the bathroom was clean, the wood details made it feel like alpine architecture. Next time we go maybe we'll splurge for the larger room with the fireplace but the base-level room was just fine for 2 nights. We stayed on the 4th floor and had a nice view out the front. The breakfast was surprisingly good too! Seems like every other hotel these days nickel and dimes for things like early check in and meager breakfast, all while the quality is increasingly sub-par, but Austria Haus had really great service, amenities and location! We were visiting from NC and already want to come back!

Excellent customer service from the moment you check out until the moment you leave. Very clean and cozy rooms with Mountain View’s, excellent complimentary breakfast, amazing location five minutes from the lifts, restaurants at your doorstep and plenty of shopping. Michael at the front desk was extremely nice and polite. This place is a gem will definitely be back!

Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had with a hotel. Everyone from the front desk, the concierge, the cleaning crew and even the outdoor maintenance crew were absolutely pleasant and kind. The room was incredibly clean and spotless and the pool was awesome. My two little girls had such a great time! We will DEFINITELY be going back.

What a pleasant stay at Austria. Starting with the amazing staff ( including Brandon and Natasha) and services: valet parking, concierge, room cleanliness, and breakfast. We were so pleased with the service that when we return we would definitely stay there. Of course, location of Austria House is a plus. In the heart of Vail near attractions like Solaris Plaza, Gondole One and Golden Peak.

We had absolutely best time at Austrian Haus. Perfectly clean room (not just clean - Monica clean, if you watched Friends), comfy bed, amenities (literally all you need), hot tub and pool, quite place to work (business center/library), perfect wifi. In addition to all that - thoughtful people who work there! THANK YOU! Ladies have noticed the special request we placed moths ago, when were booking the room, and when we arrived provided us a room upgrade. In addition, brought a complement on the house to our room with a hand written note. This is a top notch service, which made our small vacation a 1000 times more special.

Everyone was awesome, had a great time and the price was nice. My only issue was I just had my car cleaned after the long trip out there from MN and somthing was leaking/ dripping on it down in the parking but there was no damage just some muddy looking water so no biggie. Their personalities and cleanliness of the hotel made up for it by far! Deff would go back there any day.

Excellent room - fireplace, outside doors that open. Very friendly staff (Branden and Colin). Good breakfast. A little tricky to get to, drive past the Solaris parking entry, onto the pavers straight ahead and a little to the left are 2 parking spots for drop off.

Quaint boutique hotel/ski chalet in great mid-Vail location. Beautifully appointed room with huge bathroom and very clean. Nice breakfast and great staff. Very comfortable stay, it was hard for us to leave.
