Marriott's StreamSide Douglas at Vail

Our stay at the Marriott stream side Douglas building was great. We arrived prior to check-in and were surprised to be offered an early check-in that we weren’t able to utilize as we were skiing :) each employee we interacted with at the hotel was kind and accommodating. The outdoor hot tub was kept at a very hot temperature and had strong jets which is always a plus. They had 3 fans available in the room which seem handy for the summer months, one of which was a large Dyson portable fan. We took advantage free bagel bar Sunday morning. Thanks for a great stay.

Very convenient location, close to Vail but a bit more tranquil being a couple miles from the town center. The river is 50 meters from the pool and hot tub and it's extremely relaxing to hear the rushing water. The rooms are nice rooms, especially in the newer building, very bright and modern.

We had a wonderful stay! Lovely accommodations, staff was very friendly and helpful. Free shuttle to the village but we walked the river trail a lot.

Lovely property with well maintained buildings and grounds. The pool and hot tubs were perfectly kept and the creek running by was lovely with a few benches and picnic tables along the banks. Rooms were great, service was excellent. Enjoyed using the free shuttle to Vail Village and then walked back on the Gore Creek Trail (@3 miles from vail village following Gore Creek -paved with limited elevation changes).

We had a wonderful stay at Marriott Streamside Douglas. The 1-bedroom suites are so well appointed, they have thought of everything! The kitchen has pots and pans, Tupperware, a hand mixer, a knife set, and more. Plenty of dishes and glasses for a week’s stay. The king bed was extremely comfortable and it was so nice to have a queen sofa bed as well. The views are gorgeous and the facilities are top notch. Service is extremely warm and friendly. Highly recommend.

Such a great Vail vacation spot! The staff is over the top with amazing service.
Each day there are activities on the property for guests of every age. The events typically are in the morning and afternoon to allow skiing throughout the day.
The rooms in evergreen have been remodeled and updated. They are fabulous. New carpet, furniture and window coverings. Made for a very comfortable stay.
The pool and hot tubs (both indoor and outdoor) were always heated and allowed for a swim in any temperature.

I stayed at the resort with my wife, and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Our suite was very comfortable, and the resort staff was very kind and considerate to us. They made us feel welcome at all times and showed tremendous hospitality. We would love to visit sometime again. We highly recommend this resort.

Recently I visited Douglas Streamside to see how our timeshare was being kept up. Reading the newsletter and seeing it personally can be two different experiences. I love the Vail area, but we hadn't been there for years. This trip to Vail was a hiking, family and relaxation trip. I was thrilled to find all the condo in fantastic shape. Real wood fireplaces still there, updated kitchens and baths. I am very impressed with the Marriott staff and board of Streamside AND, I understand, they are remodeling and updating again in two years! Looks like we will be there again soon!

Place is great! The activities manager is really genuine too! The pool the hot tub sauna and steam rooms are a huge plus. Great location. The washer and dryers not in the unit are downstairs and 100% free. Definitely made my friends and our vacations worth it.

Great Resort and very nice people work there. They provide lots of activities for people to do while staying there. Love the facilities for exercising the saunas and the swimming pool. The pool is heated and it was very relaxing swimming in the pool even though the temperature was below 10 degrees. The pool is indoor outdoor pool. We were able to fly fish directly outside our unit because the creek runs along side of the resort. This is the second time we spent our anniversary at this Resort. And we plan to visit again in the future.

The decor was just updated and we loved it. Rooms were nice and comfortable, the staff was great! The shuttle driver, Tony, was very helpful with his knowledge of the area and restaurant suggestions. It's near the bike/pedestrian path and close to the grocery stores. I would stay here again!

Nice location and amenities. Shuttle service to town is every 15 or 30 minutes. Didn't do any activities, but they were plenty. Rooms well stocked. Nice view of the stream from room, but no balcony on lower floor. Overall, nice place.

This was a great getaway, the staff were all helpful and welcoming and the location was amazing. This is just far enough away that you get to escape, but a 10 minute shuttle ride (free!) Gets you directly to Vail villiage. The accommodations are all clean and comfortable as well, if you stay here multiple nights it would be very easy to run to the store and get breakfast items and or dinner items with the brand new beautifully appointed kitchens to cook in. We will definitely be back.

Great service, and the shuttle is so convenient you wouldn’t even know your not lift-side! Great drinks for free in lobby, nice indoor & outdoor pool & spa. Overall amazing place to enjoy vail, especially if your more interested in skiing than shopping.

Great location near Vail with free shuttle service. We had an awesome trip to this location. No air conditioning but we opened windows and screen door and it was perfect! Appreciated the humidifier and fan in the room.

This Marriott vacation club in West Vail is well worth traveling to. My first impression was how clean and neat my unit was on arriving. The unit has a dining table for six with cushioned seats next to the kitchen, a fireplace with fire starters and wood ready to burn, comfortable bed, and two bathrooms that were immaculate. There was also a balcony with mountain views and complimentary shuttle service to Vail Village.

Stayed here a few nights while in Vail. Got a corner room with cathedral cielings and two floors. Large and luxorious, about a 15 minute drive to the center of Vail but they also have shuttles maybe every 20ish minutes. Driver is nice and the resort is great.

Room was really decent and the hotel has a lot of amenities and even services like guided walking.
It's located in between to Vail/Lionshead (about 2 miles) and Avon.

Loved it! Great place to stay family friendly with tons of activities to do at the hotel. Nearby the lake, river, and hikes to have outdoor fun. Saw deer and cubs outside the back patio almost every day. Peaceful place to relax with family.
