My partner and I have over 25 years of bringing our pets to West Seattle Animal Hospital from Cats, Dogs to even a pet rat.

I am a vegan and animals are my life (humans I can do without) and i would entrust any animal to them. Dr. Johnson and Dr. Quincy have been our pet saviors, but the rest of the doctors there have shown the same level of consideration and care. Pets are their priority and it shows.

One downside is they are not open on weekends when a lot of us have the most flexibility for general care of our pets.

The nurses and supporting team are very professional and try to do what they can to accommodate your pets needs.

I would NOT take my animals to Urban Animal. They show such little care for the pets and it will show when you arrive.

WS Animal Hospital is great. They have cared for my cats and even my bunny. Their wait times are minimal, prices are competitive and reasonable, and staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them for your pets needs!!!

The West Seattle Animal Clinic is fantastic, and I trust them with taking care of all 3 of my dogs. The communication is great, and the vet care is thorough and full of care.

The doctors and staff really care about the animals they treat and it shows. They are experienced and sensitive handling the pets, and they follow up very well with lab results and prescriptions. We’re really happy to have them here.

I have used West Seattle Animal Hospital and specifically Dr Gomez for three pet generations. Always outstanding service and care.

Best vet hospital I've been to in a long time. All of the doctors (we've seen about 5 of them over the past 3 years) and staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. I've experienced some vets try to sell certain procedures/products, but they've only provided us with the information we need to make a well-informed decision. Between my 3 senior aged dogs, they've done a lot -- vaccinations, aspirating lumps, blood work, prescribing pain medication, and a couple surgeries -- and we're extremely happy with them. Everything cost-wise is about what you'd expect.

The folks at west seattle animal hospital are awesome! So friendly and patient with our pups who are not always psyched to be at the vet office. 🤗

My senior dog has needed a lot of extra care and Dr Johnson and Dr Beck have be instrumental with his quality of life. Everyone at this clinic will bend over backwards to help you if they can. The nurses are so helpful for general questions and responsive. Dr Johnson has called and checked in on my dog just to see how he is and was very calming and sincere speaking to me. I know my dog is getting excellent care and can’t thank everyone here enough.

Quick to get in, and they take all insurance plans! The staff are so sweet, and the vets are great.

My cats had their first visit there. The staff was nice and the doctor was gentle and did very well with my cat that was scared and uncooperative.

We've taken our 2 Rescued puppies here since they were babies. We moved up to the North end, but now we're back and visiting WSAH again and couldn't be happier. One of our babies was rescued from a Taiwanese meat farm, and is skittish around people he doesn't know to this day. But the doctors here are always friendly and patient. They take the time to get him to calm down and relax (as relaxed as he's able to get, ) and always give great care to both of our furry little babies! The prices aren't cheap, but they certainly aren't any more expensive than any other vets we've been to. Add to that excellent care and treatment and it's definitely worth the price!

I’ve taken my cat here a few times and every time has been so pleasant. They’re all very kind and helpful, and listen to your questions and concerns and address every single one.

Jack gets such wonderful care at this facility. We feel lucky to have it in our 'hood!

I've been going to West Seattle Animal hospital for about 13yrs. I switched when I followed my vet, Dr. Barbara Gomez and then stayed through my move out of Seattle and then out of King County.

About 9 years ago I acquired a special needs chihuahua, with a heart condition. They are always great with him and I can call last minute and get him in for his phlebotomies. His episodes are not always predictable so having that flexibility is important.

I highly recommend them if you're looking for a vet.

West Seattle Animal Hospital did an amazing job taking care of my 21 year old cat. Our first visit they got her in same day for a bladder infection when she wasn’t even an established patient. Then they gave us both very calm and compassionate care when it was time to end her life. Highly recommended!
