Sonic Drive-In

Went back yesterday morning. The service was excellent the girl at the speaker found perfect solutions for things they were out of. She was helpful and has a great attitude. The food was excellent.

The drive thru lady (Rachel) was very rude and gave serious attitude when ordering. She made us repeat things we already said and she was very snappy as soon as she started taking our order for no reason.

I didn't see the other reviews before eating here. We have never been to a Sonic. The order taker was nice. Mason was super nice. Awesome fast delivery. Fresh tasting. hot food. Damn good!! I will eat here when I come by again! Thank you Sonic Crew!

I was thoroughly impressed with my visit today. I want to credit my excellent visit to the young lady who was working the whole front end by herself. I do believe her name is Arianna, as that is what showed on the receipt. This young lady showed up for work when most of the city had been shut down, the restaurant was understaffed, and there were several customers, but through it all she was very pleasant and had excellent customer service! My children even commented on how she was working so hard and what a great job she was doing. Thank you for this experience and being a role model for my children. This community is lucky to have this young lady! The food was hot and fresh as well! I will definitely visit again.

The service was impeccable. Mason was our server and he was such a nice young man. So glad they are working young.10/10 would for sure go again.

I usually get good food from this location but I would like to talk about the one time I didnt.
I was in the drive through and ordered a cheeseburger along with some other things. It took longer than usual but the guy at the window was very polite and thanked me for my patience. As I drove away I grabbed my burger and instantly noticed it was somewhat hard.
I stopped the car to check it out and the bun was a rock and the cheese not melted with the patty obviously old and cold. I drove back through the window and talked to the same gentleman who apologized sincerely for the bad burger. He assured me they would make a new one which was all that was needed for my contentment. Shortly after he showed up with a piping hot delicious burger and told me they talked and want to give me a refund. I assured them there is no need as I really appreciate the customer service and promptness when they realized a mistake had been made. To me as a consumer that's all that really matters.
The young man shook his head and said "listen, we want to give you a refund because we feel it's the right thing to do. That burger should have never left the window. Please accept it". I nodded, took the refund, and told him that I was very happy with the transaction and would be writing a review.
5 stars for customer service alone and to whomever the Manager on duty was that night kudos you have earned my business but more over the young man at the window is grade A+.
Good hire on that gentleman and I hope he carries that same energy to wherever his career path takes him because it is what success is made of.

I don't go there very often due to the diet I follow, but it was HOT today and I wanted something to cool me off. I ordered my stuff online and then stopped by to pick it up.
My wait was minimal, my order was ready for me and delicious and the young man who helped me was GREAT! I didn't catch his name but he had red curly hair and was very pleasant!

The quality of the service was outstanding compared to other fast food restaurants. We pulled up ordered our food and 5 minutes later a server brought it out to the car. The staff was polite, when we asked for marinara sauce it was brought out immediately. They didn't mess up our order when we asked for things to be left off which I find to be a big problem among fast food. This is the experience I have everytime I come here.

Our server was nice even though we were ordering in the middle of the night right before close, the food was prepared pretty quickly and brought out to us. The food was satisfactory and there were no order mistakes, it was also reasonably priced for what we ordered. It was within walking distance of our hotel as well. I recommend this location for a nice bite to eat.

First time eating there food was good, Got the #3 bacon cheeseburger which was a good size and fries were delicious

A great place to go right off of Mount Rushmore Road

Just stopped in to get a couple of Route 44 ice teas. It was happy hour so they were half off. Both the waiters bringing people their food were young men. Both did a little dance on their way back inside. It brought a smile to my face and joy to our car! Kudos to those two boys enjoying the work!

Sonic Drive-In. A place where you can experience the retro feel of what original drive-In was like, while enjoying a meal in your own mobile living room. The car. Sometimes certain Sonic Drive-In's are in good, bad, and interesting locations. This one is in an interesting and good location, simply because in our city of Rapid City at times will have cruise night for cars and motorcycles of all kinds. 8th street cruise night is a good event to witness along with partake in. Yet it's almost better if your at this food place during it. Why you might be wondering if you are a McDonald's loyalist. Because, you can sit outside or in the car you chose and eat or sip on a God given shake/food item, and watch the beauty of the cars and rides drive by. Plus it's a good location for impromptu car meets. It's got a good city vibe to it, a little different from the other two locations which is absolutely fine. Don't know much of the staff but I'll take a guess that they are pretty good in what they do. Food is always grand at this location. So good job and God bless y'all.

I order slushes online and pay via their app, all drinks 1/2 price that way. Then I pick them up at a certain chosen time. Delicious!

Appreciate all the hard work you all put in day in and day out. If only people could understand that the whole world is short staffed and that being kind does not cost them anything m, that would be amazing. Love the friendly faces and friendly attitude even though times can be stressful. Keep up the good work Sonic staff!! We see you and appreciate you! Thank you!!

I like coming to Sonic, the drive up, the quick service, even the roller skates. This place was great at all three. After ordering a couple drinks it took them a good 2 minutes to get it out to us. Word to the wise the locals like to only use the drive-thru so its worth pulling up to a speaker to make the process a bit quicker.

On 10/18, We stopped for breakfast on our way out of Rapid City. The food was made to perfection. It was not messy and the the person who took our order covered every detail we had... for 8 orders! Thank you!

This is the only Sonic we go to. They always make everything perfect and it tastes great. Plus everyone is always super nice. We've never had a bad experience there.

Whenever I am in Rapid City, Sonic is such a treat because there isn't one close by where I live. It's a great place for friends to go and get a quick meal or snack and be able to talk. The outside seating is used whenever I go. The staff are always very friendly and willing to help if you need anything.

I'm absolutely amazed by the excellent quality of service I received from here!
I went to the Sonic on Jackson Blvd. They were the worst service I've ever had! My food was still cold, the tater tots were stale and way over salted. They just threw it in the bag to where everything was spilling out.
However mt Rushmore rd sonic took the call and fixed everything! I mean everything! I wish I could give the manager on duty a 10 star rating.
