AJ's Sports Grille & Smokehouse

Great place to go when you want plenty of bang for your buck! Prices are reasonable, portions are LARGE (this is coming from a large person who loves food). The liquor here is reasonably priced, so you don't have to dish out $8 for a shot. Trust me; order what you like from the menu and you'll leave full and happy.

Sam is a wonderful bartender. The Chef Special on Sunday was delicious! Perfect portion and fresh ingredients made the dish amazing. Hot food and served quickly made the dish melt in my mouth. Yummy!

Stopped in here for a quick bite to eat while traveling for work. Came in at about 6:30 ish. Awesome staff, very friendly, customers are fun to talk to.

Very nice and polite staff,easy laid back atmosphere, and the food is beyond expectations. I had the pulled pork sliders , as well as have tried a large assortment of the happy hour food specials. I highly recommend coming in for a bite . Drink prices are reasonable, and they do have a military discount.

Not much of a sports fan, but if you are, there are plenty of TV's and always games on. I can see why many come here to watch their game and have a few drinks. AJ's is a cozy little place that stays fairly busy. I come to play poker on Sunday's and Monday's so sports is not what brings me in.

They have my favorite beer on tap and I am a fan of their pork nachos. Food is fairly good and definitely has a sports bar feel.

Location is a bit hidden in a shopping center behind a Rite Aide and next to Buffet City. Lots of parking, has a smoking area outside. I'd recommend 👌.

Today was my first time going here and I must say I absolutely loved it!!!!! The whole experience and food!!! I ordered the $2 tacos (chicken) and omg they was absolutely delicious! My boyfriend ordered wings and fries. And I was completely satisfied and amazed at the daily specials and how great and fresh the food tasted!!! I’m 9 months pregnant so I’m super picky where we eat. But over all I give it 10 stars. The guy who served me was awesome and cool to talk to as well. Definitely coming back with the kiddos. 😊

Excellent food and excellent service! This was our first time here and definitely will not be our last. The food was absolutely delicious with really good sized portions. Great for family or adults!

Food was awsome, staff was so kind, drinks where on point too. They have some tables to play poker or black jack and they have a dart board and it's electronic. All in all i think thus place is pretty cool and super chill.

Get the brisket. Thank me later. This place is amazing. People are friendly and normally the crowd is mixed. They have karaoke on Tuesday and Thursday and lip sync contest on Monday. The food is the best part. Plus happy hour and those dollar beers!

3 years ago I came here and absolutely enjoyed myself; today, not so much.
I had my wife order the brisket again because I just knew it would still be the same. Boy was I wrong! Not sure if it’s the pandemic or maybe they got a new cook- but what they served me were the thinnest pieces of meat I have ever received on a dinner plate. I had to stop someone and ask if my meal was right because it looked like bacon slices. It tasted alright but it wasn’t anywhere close to what I had burned into my memory from three years ago. (Thick juicy cuts cooked to perfection) The green beans were sour, the cook was possibly too heavy on the garlic. And the mash potatoes and gravy tasted like they came from a box. I didn’t even finish my meal or get a drink.

The waitress who had been helping my group before I got there apparently disappeared and didn’t say a word and the bartender, while nice, was clearly overwhelmed with the small crowd that was present.

Wings were BOMB, fast service, friendly staff. Will definitely be back

We tried this off of Postmates, we were looking for something new in our area. Can I just say wow! Besides them not having my original request of the jumbo dog, the restaurant called us and we spoke to Will. He was very happy to modify our order and put the request through. We ordered the Cajun Alfredo pasta (yummy), buffalo chicken wrap and the brownie desert. Their food was absolutely amazing. Not what you expect from a grill house/bar. They are doing something right. We loved the food and will go back for more very very soon.

I would like to thank the Chinese Buffet next door for being closed on Tuesdays. My fiance and I met for lunch this past Tuesday and were gonna go to the chinese buffet but they were closed. Instead we decided to try AJ's and what a great decision that was. The burger I ordered was easily one of the best ive ever had and my fiance's italian sub was absolutely delicious!! We will definitely be back!!

Amazing happy hour specials. Great, friendly crowd. Convenient shopping center location in Denbigh. This sports bar has so much to offer. You should definitely come give it a try and come check it out. They also have a gated section with tables and chairs out back for smokers.

Was there for trivia. Fun time with great friends. Had their boild shrimp. Awesome

This is by far the best place to eat and enjoy yourself. The food is absolutely phenomenal. The deep fried philly wrap is to die for. The Karaoke on Tuesdays and Thursdays is super fun along with all the entertainment they have there. Support local business and definetly this one.

This place was introduced to me by a friend of ours. And I have to say of all the places to eat this is legit. The Pulled-pork BBQ is delicious, mac a cheese reminds you of ole' school cooking!!! I have been there three times already and I will keep coming back. It is well worth it 5 Stars for you.
