Trader Joe's

This was my first time going to trader Joe's, because it's about 35 minutes drive from me. Let me tell you, it was a beautiful experience. Everybody was in a good mood, the food selection was amazing, and the prices were a lot less than I thought they were going to be. And the older gentleman that helped me check out was so kind, we talked about our kids, and I left in such a good mood. I wish I lived closer so I could come more often!

My new favorite place to shop, even though I know it’s been here forever. Wonderful people, decent prices, and unique items that make it easy to make quick meals for busy lives.

What can I say? It's Trader Joe's and they have boatloads of fresh flowers at fantastic prices that last for a week and a half! What more do you need to know?
Seriously, this Newport News location is always neat and clean. The staff is always helpful, kind, and not rushed.
I have a 3-hour drive to my home in North Carolina because there is no closer Trader Joe's. But my dog must have their biscuits, and I must have Trader Joe's Irish breakfast tea everyday! The fresh fruits, vegetables, prepared salads are always delicious and fairly priced. Trader Joe's brand sliced cheeses, particularly Muenster, are delicious and affordable.
It is respiratory illness season and I have multiple bottles of Trader Joe's spray hand sanitizer. They're very small, effective, smell delightful, and they don't dry out my hands.
Will I be back there in about 2 months? Absolutely!

Offers such a wonderful variety of choices, if you want to eat completely healthy the produce is so fresh and I've never tasted such good Idaho potatoes. Love the variety of salmon and the new England clam chowder is the best I've ever had in Virginia. Staff and manager are friendly and helpful, great customer service

Glad to find one since moving to the area! Fresh selection of flowers and wonderful chocolates to make great gifts to staff. Always on point with variety in the spirits category! Easy to try different things with the prices! Customer service second to none!

I must admit this was my 1st time in a Trader Joe’s mainly because of my preconceived notion that it wasn’t my type of scene. I was pleasantly surprised, nothing like the While Food vibe I had erroneously assigned to it. It was bright fun and really unique with a real cool farmers market vibe.

Diversity in its surroundings and products was a welcomed change of the bland or weird brands I thought I would see.

I will be back. Love this place.

Absolutely fabulous grocery store. Totally enjoyed my shopping experience. I highly recommend buying here. They have healthy products that are very tasty. I particularly enjoy the following: Broccoli and Kale Slaw, Artichoke Antipasto, 100% Tart Cherry Juice, Happy Trekking Mix, Green Goddess Seasoning, Cheddar cheese with caramelized onions, fresh pizza dough, non-sorbate pitted prunes, Everything but the bagel Greek yogurt dip, riced cauliflower stirfry, pound plus dark chocolate, Avocado tzatziki dip, Multigrain hot cereal, 10 minute farro, Organic brown rice and quinoa fusili pasta, Marinated olive duo in lemon and herbs, Trader Giotto's Balsamic glaze, frozen riced cauliflower, rice medley, movie theater butter popcorn, frozen cauliflower gnocchi, dark chocolate peanut butter cups, quinoa cowboy veggie burgers, shredded Swiss and gruyere cheese, giant baked Beans in tomato sauce, rainbow cauliflower, shishito peppers, balela, old fashioned blister pack peanuts. Sparkling water, fresh Atlantic salmon boneless fillets, butter chicken with basmati rice, organic riced cauliflower, organic Artichoke pasta sauce, & sliced Prosciutto.

Amazing experience buying beer and seltzer. Chris really helped me and my wife out picking our own 6 pack out and his recommendations were amazing. Packed our stuff up very nicely and was all around a fantastic guy.

My wife normally shops at this location and I haven't been here in a couple of years. Very friendly staff and extremely clean and well maintained store. We were able to find everything we needed for our snacking purposes. Upon checkout our toddler received a sticker compliments of the team member.

TJ is my new favorite store. I'd never been until recently, and now I plan to stop by anytime I'm near. Literally everything I've purchased here has been so good. The quality is just better here! It's small and seems to always be packed, but totally worth it. The staff is also very kind and helpful.

One of our main dining destinations in Williamsburg. The perfect blend of friendly and excellent food.
Anytime my wife and I want oysters on the half shell, we head to Fat Tuna.
We have our Anniversary dinner here each year for the past dozen or so years. Everything on the menu is fantastic, and it is just as friendly and competent at the bar, as at a table or booth.
Highly recommended.

I wanted to share the great check-out experience I had with Carlton Kidd. Not only was he amicable and quick to help, but he also went beyond expectations to make my day. We just had a baby, and simply put the Lord used Carlton to bless me and my wife today. Props to Trader Joe’s for fostering this kind of customer service culture!

It was my first time in the store, and I wasn't sure what to expect. But thanks to Brian W, I had an excellent experience. Stopped in for some gluten-free tortillas, and he suggested a brand of gluten free muffins that I should try. Even went and got them for me. Terrific experience, thanks Brian!

Love Trader Joe’s the products superb customer service I wish we had one on Cedar Road in Chesapeake. I have to travel all the way to Virginia Beach first colonial or Denby in order to get the products that’s the only thing I don’t like please come to Cedar Rd., Chesapeake, VA

Trader Joe’s has some excellent products that I really enjoy. The staff is always super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful about the products they offer. The only unfortunate thing is some of their best products that I have thoroughly enjoyed have been discontinued. But overall this store is a great place to shop.

Great vegan and vegetarian frozen meals. Definitely my goto spot when I need quick cook items that are healthy. Store was stocked up and staff friendly.

I love shopping here. It's a little pricey and adds up quickly but still worth going there for specific things. Most of the store employees are quirky and friendly too

My favorite small grocery store! I personally love the frozen meals, never had a bad one! I also love all of the different condiments/spices/sauces, etc. It can be expensive to build a pantry and spice rack but TJs makes it simple. The houseplants, herbs, and cute home decor items are always so inexpensive and actually make great gifts!

Great little grocery store. Small, but tends to have what I am looking for. Most items are their own brand, so if you are looking for a major name brand item, you likely won't find it here. But, you will probably find a similar item w the Trader Joe's name. A lot of unique items here.
