The food was AMAZING. Victoria is an incredible server and always made sure our glasses were full and food was good. We will definitely be regulars here from now on!

First time here and it was a fantastic experience. We were immediately seated, the staff was very nice, and the food was delicious. I will definitely be coming back here when in town. And you have to try the flavored teas. The peach and huckleberry ones are fantastic.

The staff seemed to be short a few people the way they had to hurry around but honestly we hardly noticed because our server was on it. Great food and wonderful atmosphere. I ordered the fettuccine but the pizzas my husband ate were top notch

Love this place! I've been here many times now, and never had a lackluster dish here yet. In the busiest parts of the day, especially in the summer, getting a seat can take a while, but it seems like it's that way everywhere. Their service is great, though, never had an unpleasant experience with them. They have a decent loyalty system as well, plus some delicious, cheaper "food truck" dishes. Gluten free options are available (a desert, pizza crust, dunno about burger buns). This is definitely my favorite place to eat in Rapid, and I highly recommend eating here! 👍👍

Ordered the hand toasted Ruben pizza, and the crust was excellent. We ordered mango beer. side salad is $5+ extra. Nice decorated restaurant.

For a mixed cuisine chain restaurant, Mackenzie River in Rapid City is surprisingly good. For a non-pizza restaurant, their pizza is simply amazing, better than most actual pizza places. The Cowboy pizza specifically is just great. The Fish and Chips are really good also, although (and I admit this is a big deal for me and maybe not so much for others) but french fries are Not chips! But, the dish is really well made and tasty.

Will definitely be back here! We was sat very promptly and had our drinks refilled multiple times. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. The pulled bbq burger was delicious, and I fell in love with the huckleberry sweet tea.

Loved coming here so much , we came back the following weekend and brought friends with us this time. Staff is always on point! Husband loves the ziti they have .

A different dining experience. Had flatbread and fish tacos. Those tacos were huge!! You could share or better have a big appetite. Everything was super tasty.

FABULOUSLY AMAZING! I have introduced several friends to this place. Food- WOW! Whether you are gluten intolerant (just ask) or not the menu has something for everyone! The staff is fabulous, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Shawn was my most recent... if you get him, you definitely will be treated better than you could have hoped. For the most decadent piece of chocolate (they call it cake) I say mousse, rich, creamy, melt in your mouth naughtiness (and, shhhh... it's gluten free). This is definitely worth the visit. You WON'T be disappointed.

Friendly service, nice atmosphere, and tasty food. We all enjoyed our meal very much. The broccoli and cheese soup was creamy and delicious. The pizza was very flavorful and a good size. The salads were tasty and fresh. We are glad we chose to eat here at MacKenzie River.

Went in for lunch on Nov 24. We got lucky enough to have an amazing waitress and her name was Kriss. Not sure if that's how she spells it. Service was amazing food was good I hope management sees this and let's her know she is doing a great job. I can tell she has been waiting on table for awhile and check up on us the perfect amount of times. Drinks were never empty 10/10.

Visited this really cool chain restaurant I had never eaten at, will definitely patron here again.
The everything was Fantastic!
Laid back family friendly with a spot on music selection.
Plus they knew how to make a proper Irish ☘ mule that we enjoyed on the VERY🥶 windy cold day.

Wow, it was a good pizza 🍕. We were here for lunch and it was awesome. We had Hot Hawaiian pizza, boneless chicken with bourbon sauce, and artichoke dip. If you are in town, I recommend you to stop here for lunch.

I cannot say enough good things about MacKenzie River! We visited while in town on vacay and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere was great, the service was fantastic and the food was amazing! I wish we lived here… I’d be a regular!!

During our visit in SD we stopped for quick dinner and it was so delicious. We had flatbread and tacos. The interior was awesome too. We loved it so much that next day we grabbed cheese pizza to go and it was delicious too! Service was excellent as well! It’s a must try!

Great little place. The best pizza I've had in the modwesr hands down. Our waitress was super sweet and over hearing the rest of the wait staff everyone is just friendly as hell. The place is really cool and super clean but not dark. Even have plug-ins at your table to charge things. Will be going back on cheat meal days for the pizza. P.s. the large pizza is huge and the best thin crust!

First time at Mackenzie. Great meal and service. Liked the Birch tree room breaker.

We were visiting Rapid City on the way to Mount Rushmore. We found MacKenzie River on Google as it was near our hotel. We were seated immediately at a comfortable table with plenty of space for everyone (traveling with 3 tall individuals). Our drink orders were taken quickly. I tried the huckleberry sangria and it was delicious. All 4 members of my party loved the food, though it took longer than expected. My pulled pork sandwich and seasoned fries were delicious. We will return again if in the area.

Absolutely the best thin crust pizza ever and right off the interstate!! Don’t miss out
